    'What is guilt?'
    This channel is managed by the Krishnamurti Foundation Trust, UK, and by the Krishnamurti Foundation of America.
    The role of the foundations was described by Krishnamurti when he said, 'The foundations will see to it that these teachings are kept whole, are not distorted, are not made corrupt. They will not give rise to any sectarian spirit in their activities... nor create any kind of place of worship around the teachings or the person.'
    We maintain extensive archives of Krishnamurti's original works and all four Krishnamurti foundations are actively engaged in the publication of material in various forms.
    Our videos contain thousands of subtitles in more than 25 languages, translated by volunteers from all over the world. If you would like to help us with translating subtitles, please contact us at digital@kfoundation.org

    I have to say he saved one life. He saved me from self destructive thoughts. Now I am laughing at my ignorance and carrying on with my day like the struggle was past.
    This feels exactly like shattering all the glass walls of my chamber in which I was suffocating and was being tortured. I cannot explain the feeling of this blis and recovery.
    Peace 🕊️
    Beautiful.
    Thankyou for reminding me to love myself and accept myself as whole.

    • @yt.abhibhav

      With your query I can understand your situation. If I have to give you a number I would say it took me a few weeks to accept what I had done and the fact that it's in my nature. I pledge to work on it and try not to do the same thing that caused the whole situation. I would also recommend you to confess the truth to those who might are effected because of your actions. It can be an ugly after that but It will exempt you from the curse of guilt and will help you recover within days.
      Peace and power to you 🕊️

      In my case the deep rooted urge may not apparently different since from very young age I found no interest whatever like rest of people around me I had from my very childhood to understand what this thing called the universe is in its dee p hidden purpose which must as well be to purpose of all This could not be learnt from anywhere outside of me I knew the secret could only be discovered within myself because man was supreme_a really wonderous beyond all powers of human conception but being too young it all looked quite enigmatic Inspite of all this I was sure I must be an integral part of this whole How could there be a separate I That could make no sense_I ' a separate something cut off from the rest which is somehow a logical absurdity and my whole sense of logic rebelled against it Neither could there comes death Any one else may think as he will Existence is_t to me a fact and not death How dare one think otherwise It was evident that death could not be for the simple reason that life is I wonder how any one can conceive light and dark together They exist but not in opposition to one another Sir think for yourselves Could life be such an ugly something If so who's fault is it ? Surely one's own

      Sir I don't presume to be impudent if I may dare the audacity to add to think in terms of finality may have no place where LIFE comes in I don't know how one reacts to it all

    This is probably one of the best videos of letting go I have come across. He did not just elaborate how to let go of guilt and it could apply pretty much to anything in life. Deep and full of wisdom. Our mind was unconsciously conditioned from the moment we came to the world and only when the moment we realised all these we actually have the access to a different path. Love~

    Just goto 30:30. Stay with whatever happens. Never resolve. The very totality of stay, or being with any phenomenon, results in its complete flowering and this disappearance. Freedom is disappearance of all inflictions from root and the root is identification strengthened by escape because of thought. Staying absolutely with phenomenon in now breaks thought, breaks identification and thus all the conditioning. That's attention - a clarity without center.

    • @corpuscallosum4479
      @corpuscallosum4479 8 лет назад +13

      Very well put, but the hard part is stay in that freedom. What you describe is a flash of lightning. When that clarity, luminosity, fluidity and omniscience shine through effortlessly/ontinuously, then we're awakened. Most of us are still learning and practicing is even harder in this dichotomous, actions-powered world.

    Guild does not arise out of itself. It arises out of love. A men who has no love inside, no feeling of guild arises when he kills somebody. Love is the feeling of connection, relationship and so on. It comes out of knowledge, that everthing is connected maybe. It comes out of seeing this connection and out of a emotional connection. Love is much more than a feeling and out of it arises sometimes things they not feel good like a guide to keep you in harmony with everthing you connected. So better we understand this so better we can hear and understand what love try to say, and life a better way inside us and outside for everything and everyone. LOVE

    Admire Krishnamurtis work. My brain is conditioned. I have to repeatedly watch and listens to his teachings for i have been repeatedly imposed on how i have to view and act into this world. His investigations on how we behave. Sex, relationships, tribalisms, feelings. How our thoughts were formed. How we punish others and ourselves. The imbeded teachings of societies, philosophies most importantly on top the root how i conduct myself into this planet. My Religious beliefs. The cognitive behind them. Krisnamutis have greatly helped me reprogram myself into a healthy perspective. A better new platform in living into this beautiful world that we live in.

    Great Insight provided to dissolve the issue ! Stay with the fact and you are not different from the fact .The fact is you are guilt or guilt is in you.It means you are not different from guilt at all. You are the guilt itself. Do not create any entity in you which can be separate observer.
    The approach to problem is insightful and psychological one ! Great and profound approach!!!

      Also how , from which perspective he sees a word= fascinating. I never thought so clearly or heard it from anyone at all.. that the definition of a problem is...that some= thrown on u.. forced on u.. though = true. Ramana said it a bit akin. He said...awareness or this consciousness just came over u. And Zen out of this background storys are made.. like...u forgot urself or u was never aware bevor and all this stuff or a God created u or the Archons or whatever.... Since we not accept the simple...we create high complexity stuff ...we call world and zen we struggle with this complexity itself.

      @@sandygarg Well everybody has the right to write things down, for me it helps. Even Krishnamurti doesn´t know everything or maybe there he referred to writing without a thought, "writing down because of writing down." Writing down is just as meditative or even more than just listening. It is an individual thing, whatever works is the key 🙂

    Guilt is an attachment of ego, negatively. But regret sometimes is healthy, so as not to fall into that physical, emotional or mental hole again. Only by forgive but not forget can humanity stops future holocaust, genocides, wars happen repetitiously. So it can propel and evolve in this time-space realm. Thanks K and friends.

    This is the real education , to understand this we don't have to go to universities or schools but use our brains not our minds, stop saying I know, listen to everything without contradicting or prejudices than we understand and able to see the truth. The moment we understand this, than there is no sorrow or anxiety. Life is so simple but we humans make life so complex and go to gurus spiritual leaders follow different religions etc etc....⁸ to understand this simple, sweet and beautiful life.

    I love Krishnamurti. Yet I have a number of disagreements with him. He frequently uses the term "responsibility". In my view, the term is still a form of conditioning; it emerges out of a developed ego, a sense of self, or self-consciousness, even though there may be clear benefits of responsibility. Where the self is not, there is neither responsibility nor irresponsibility, yet the action is always appropriate. We see some of what I mean happening in nature: there is no sense of responsibility in nature, yet flowers unfold in all their beauty. People can relish their perfume, but flowers don't intend to spread their perfume; they simply are what they are. I don't mean to suggest we can be like nature (in the literal sense) because we have human brains after all. I'm simply suggesting that "responsibility" is still a refined form of ego.

    • @leonordin3052
      @leonordin3052 2 года назад

      + language is conditioning:) but it is a great help communicating, to those that still have a self. To those that doesn't it is just a play of shiva that keeps us alive, before we also let that go, and join earth.
      Responsibility could also be considered the last thing keeping many gurus alive, not that they are responsible or not but that deep inside of them something wants to stay true to what is true (this is difficult to understand) and that is the responsibility. If you get what I am getting at. Which when the responsibility is completed, you are also completed and ceaced to be, as in the literal sense, have crossed the lines of no return and joined eternity.

    • @Forceoflove
      @Forceoflove Год назад

      Self responsibility I believe is what he is referring to all conditions within us are self created so to solve is also responsible , it’s not an outer or inner it’s a manifestation of that which is happening. Since at this level of awareness there is actually no separate doer

    • @NavdeepKaur-dq4iv
      @NavdeepKaur-dq4iv 15 дней назад

      I think what responsibility according to him means all humans deep down inside know what it means to be responsible human. We follow conditioned thoughts desires and fears and that sense of responsibility we ignore all the time which become the reason of our suffering in this world where every single atom is connected to each other. When we understand the connectedness among all naturally it become our responsibility to act righteously

    Having listened to and read K. for more years than I care to remember it seems K. is saying guilt (and all the other emotional sensations) are an effect of brain activity. Guilt, for example, is an effect of having done something to another person or thing the memory sensation of it affects further brain activity to effect escape, alteration of what has been. Brain activity alone cannot alter brain content - its activity to do so is guilt sensation. But of course as an escape it might be possible to say sorry or make amends. This is not a substitute for understanding brain activity is the source of guilt sensation.

    "Guilt doesn't solve anything, really", "It hurts you ... I guess I am in the enviable position of not having to deal with guilt I think i am one, a true psychopath, without any remorse or empathy at all

    when no i exist there is no ownership as I is the ego attaching to identity even if it’s built on guilt, so aware of the creative reality of what’s in front of you without judging pure acceptance of what is with no resistance

    this is so different from the nowadays popular teachings that Eckhart Tolle and such postulate...
    So... one way must be the right way. After years of attending these questions... I rather stick with K
