I bet your Akrapovič sounds even better when you are riding down those city streets between those big buildings! I agree CycleCruza, cable throttle is the best, for this one reason - I want the bike to do what I ask it to do. I'm not a fan of riding bikes that override my choices, it's frustrating
Brotha, I used to watch your videos a lot, the algorithm hasn't been kind to the Cruza, good to hear your voice again man, something so familiar about that accent big dawg. Stay safe!
Cyclecruza! During my Engineering Exams days I used to always watch your videos as they used to make me feel calm. Those country rides I still love. When you used to have Honda CBR 250R in the early days that was my dream bike man! Wish I could meet you one day or even do a video call with you!
Cool to see you are such a long time viewer. The cbr250r days go way back, over eleven years ago. Honestly, I enjoy the country rides more than the city but I try to mix it up. It would be cool to meet you, where are you from?
@@CycleCruza From India. I have been following you since you switched from Chinese scooter to Honda 250R CBR. You have plasty dipped the wheels and windshield black, it was such a beautiful looking red Color bike. Then you had CBR 600, it was amazing as well. I like Ohio country side we don’t have such amazing roads and beauty here. I just used to get lost in the amazing country backdrop.
Best bike in the world is whatever you happen to be riding at the time. As long as you’ve got an amount of power you find reasonable and it still runs, forget changing it, that’s what the corpos want. Just ride what you have!
@@CycleCruza the old 2014 model. Previous owner installed gel seat, heated grips, frame sliders, and Ventura rack. It's a bit old but incredibly clean, and no leaks. I'm surprised how small it feels, even though the riding position is high. I think the suspension has lots of travel. It's really good. With the narrow v-twin and wide handle bars it sometimes feels like I'm on a push bike with fantastic power and torque. The old 2014 traction control isn't perfect, but not bad.
Be prepared to wait. Bikes hard to find. Iv had the 23 pre ordered since June. Was supposed to get it last month. Ig they waiting for 3 others to be shipped with mine. I still havnt heard nun🤣
You'll love it guaranteed. The MT-07 is extremely versatile and lots of aftermarket support like you said. This is one of my favorite motorcycles out of any bike I've owned so far.
Bikes that appeal to the average person is what I am looking for on the moto vlogs. I don't care about the $20k+ bike because I'll never go out of my way to get one. Would much rather see an affordable bike and the reviews on them.
That is why I decided on getting this MT-07 over a Ducati Streetfighter V4S. I'm glad I got this MT-07, it is one of the most enjoyable bikes to ride and the sound is amazing with an Akropovic exhaust. I can't justify spending 20k on a bike, the most I ever spent is 14k for that used XDiavel. I might get bold and try that new Ducati 698 Mono to share with the channel.
I was walking into the bike store to buy a Cyan Storm MT07 I walked out with an XSR 700. Old school look even less tech (no tech besides ABS) I love it. I still love the MT07 the platform is still crushing it ride whatever you want
triumph, speed, triple 765R would be a good street bike for the street! It’s got more power then the bikes you were talking about! And just a much better bike for your money!💵 putting out 118 horse power! And is just under $10 grand!
There are cheap 3D printed throttle spacers that take care of the slack :) they are amazing and gives us back that old throttle feeling. I have some on my 701 SM and it was one of the 1st mods I've done because I could not stand that slack.
I have a 2015 mt07 and it’s so much fun to just bop around on. I could care less about how fast it is. Plus where I live I’m not going over 45 mph anyways
HP definitely isn't everything. The bike has plenty of HP. No well experienced rider would disagree. You might just want more but it's plenty. You just can't beat the sound, reliability, and versatility
I agree with CC. Electronics are way over hyped. It's just marketing nonsense. 99.99% of motorcycles sold never see a race track (except maybe for an instructional/practice track day once in a blue moon.) IMO all the electronic "improvements" are just more stuff that can break down (and YOU cannot fix it yourself.).
The MT07 is still the King of the Hill for middleweight naked bikes. Anyone who hates on the bike probably haven't rode it and found out it's the best hooligan wheelie machine. Also even with bikes like the Hornet, G8S and the KTM on the market the MT07 still will out sell them as you just can't find a MT07 sitting around in a dealership.
I know what you are saying.....the Suzuki GSXS-750 is cable throttle too, with an LCD display.....it's a step up though, with 112hp....I like the new TFTs, however so long as there is something easy to read telling me critical info I don't really care that much about how pretty and colourful it looks.
Hello,.. I also have the MT 07 and I agree with everything you described here about this machine,.. and I have always said that its biggest asset is its well-designed simplicity,.. the fact that it is also an accelerator cable makes it more exciting, more pure,.. the sound of the cp2 is also different,.. and yes, its geometry and very well designed cystic that makes it have a very good performance and last but not least its lock which continues to be one of the most attractive in my opinion,..
When I got my first bike this year I knew I wanted a dual sport or super moto but was concerned about the lack of basic electronics like a tach, gear indicator, or even a fuel gauge. After a couple months with my Yamaha xt250 I couldnt care less about even those things.
For street riding I don't think any of the newer better equipped bikes (Hornet, GSX 8S, Duke 790) are actually going to be any more fun to ride compared to your MT07 so probably not worth an upgrade for most. On the other hand for you who gets a new bike every year, anyone considering these as a initial purchase, or anyone planning on any track use IMO all these other bikes are better suited and a better purchase option. Curious what you heard about the Hornet being available in 2024 since it actually isn't an option till Honda starts selling them in the US?
All these naked middle weight bikes are really close while STREET riding. I do have a GSX8S and boy it is super smooth. I did look for a new MT07 but there was none available in Houston at the time.
After a full exhaust and ecu flash I ended up with 65lbs of torque. With a almost flat torque power curve. Easy 2nd gear power wheelies 😂. Only 85hp but I was not looking top speed motorcycle. Looking back now I would have got the 8R but it was not out yet.
i dont agree with cornering abs not for the street and for the trac kon track you want it of if you had some training and on the street its good for panic braking
No, I wouldn’t say it’s outdated. All that electronic crap is just to drive up the price of the bike. It’s unnecessary to have that on a middleweight twin. I’m not getting a twin for power.
If you get a ride by wire, you need to get a custom tune. Tell them you want to smooth out from idle. Works awesome. Chris from Moore mafia is great at that. My cbr1000 is like butter at takeoff
Your are covered with street riding/cruising with your Supermoto and you have always maintained that's your favorite bike. The MT07 is just basically the same thing. If you replace the MT07 you should get a sport tourer, like the new Suzuki Gsx S1000 GT, or Kawasaki Ninja 1000 sx, etc. I think it will suit you well, you can do a nice day trip and make some interesting content that we haven't seen from you. (Riding different places)
Too bad USA don’t get the Honda cb 750 hornet. I would have bought one. Have a 2022 cb 500f and I love that bike. I put 11k miles in a year on it. It is a blast on small country roads.
Giant Ape Syndrome is a term I coined for tall guys like yourself on the new motorcycles. I wanted to buy an RSV4, but I looked like a Giant Ape molesting a motorcycle. Michael Neeves from MCN talks about the same. Manufacturers are making motorcycles too small for a 6' plus rider...even if you're in good shape.
I’d rather buy a raw motorcycle than one with tons of electronics. I don’t want it I don’t need it and I don’t wanna have to pay for something I don’t use
I agree, I love the cable throttle, it's the whole feeling of the bike, the fastest bike is not necessarily the best bike, the mt07 is awesome, I think you should mod yours like a scrambler, since you like cruising and off road, I know you'd make sweet, .... the more tech the more yuk😂😂😂....more issues, ....keep your awesome mt07!!
I mean, my 96 bronco is for sure ourdated. But you know what? I love that truck so im keeping it forever. Will most likely be doing thatf with my fz07 as well
You have to try one of the bikes All technology gets better as it gets better software and better technologies you can't say that unless you tried it there may be a bike out there that's really really closed to the cable throttle
You need to build a shop so you can keep some of the bikes that you want and you have a place to actually work on them instead of in your garage and a place to store your tools shops aren't that expensive with the electricity even
Have not ridden bike w electronic throttle. I did test drive a dodge magnum a long time ago and teah felt wierd and had a delay in response. I hate the sight glasses...i want a dipstick.
I have struggled to get test rides on anything other than a Harley. Sometimes I feel like starting a motorcycle dealership just to test ride all of the bikes and sell them to you all.
@@CycleCruza you may have check with dealerships outside Ohio.. I have the vsrom 800de wich is the adventure bike version of the suzuki you mentioned.. I'm just a rider and don't have a you tube channel and was able to test ride one before I bought it.
Not necessarily outdated, just not competitive in price when you compare what other bikes offer.... if the MT07 was $500 cheaper than the CB750 honda, it would be worth considering... here in Britain the MT07 is £500 ($620) more than a CB750 Honda and offers nothing compared to the hondas more power more ... everything!!! .... so if these were cakes an MT07 would be a plain muffin for $7.50 and the CB750 would be a triple choc chip muffin with cream and sprinkles and a jelly donut for $7 . Nothing wrong with a plain muffin but why would you charge more or the same and expect people to want it?
I was cheering for Honda to release CBR 750 this year, since I want to switch from naked to sport 270° twins But Honda came with 650 E clutch, I guess I’m going with CBR for comfort: letting go of my favorite twins I can live without (R7, 8R) CP2 will always be my favorite sound though, but MT 07 clutch and suspensions aren’t as comfortable for me who ride thru heavy traffic almost daily
Its cool to see Honda bring the cb750 Hornet to the U.S. I'm excited to see how the new cb1000 hornet is going to eb as well. I saw the new e-clutch, it looks to be really nice to have. That could be the future.
I like the look of my 2016 MT-07 but I have stuck with it so long 7 years and the only bike i owned after the Yamaha R125. The new MT-09 SP has definitely got my interests, i thought I wouldn't need a new bike.
That bike have an excellent engine but the new chasis its very thin and fragile I think that you shoud wait to better chasis or get 2020 or previous model

You live on the moon or something?🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@Voltomess Japan
@@dagger_4d You don't have HWY's over there? 45 is really low.
@@Voltomess the tollway in Okinawa, Jp is 55mph. The fastest road we have
@@dagger_4d No offence but Japan is so weird with so many restrictions to everything it's like a prison.
In 30+ years of riding I don't think drag racing was ever a factor in deciding what bike I wanted to ride.
Honestly, all ya need in town is 300 or 400 for town. So. An Mt 07 is more than enough. IMHO. Cable throttle is hands down, the best !
I've got a xsr700 which is the same as the mt07. It's a great bike. My dad used it once , then he traded his harley for a mt09
I guess it all comes down to how much drag racing you do.
When I got my first bike this year I knew I wanted a dual sport or super moto but was concerned about the lack of basic electronics like a tach, gear indicator, or even a fuel gauge. After a couple months with my Yamaha xt250 I couldnt care less about even those things.
💯 Electronic rider aides are unnecessary. I always cut them off when I get a bike that has them. They are only truly beneficial at the track.
I did look for a new MT07 but there was none available in Houston at the time.
whys GSX 8S and not GSX-S750?
I love my MT07 HO...rips the traffic, so agile and a great loud noise that makes people aware of me.
You are quoting horsepower and torque figures at the rear wheel for the Yamaha and crankshaft figures for the others. Comparing apples to oranges.
MT same as a sumo... no no no my friend a big NO
CC, if you like the engine trade it for a Tenere 700 & get some slide action!!
Too bad USA don’t get the Honda cb 750 hornet. I would have bought one. Have a 2022 cb 500f and I love that bike. I put 11k miles in a year on it. It is a blast on small country roads.
its a good bike then and it still is a good bike now, i wouldnt sell it.
💯👍
I love my '22 MT07 but I must admit I am super tempted to get the new '24 MT09sp...
Hi mate have you tried a sv650? Is that better than mt07. Will be nice to know your thoughts on that.
Yeah. Sell that and buy a road glide with the 121 You won’t be disappointed. You will never go back.
I’d rather buy a raw motorcycle than one with tons of electronics. I don’t want it I don’t need it and I don’t wanna have to pay for something I don’t use
The honda cb650r is also one of the last with cable throttle but unfortunately they will change it to ride by wire in the 2024 models and upwards

You need to build a shop so you can keep some of the bikes that you want and you have a place to actually work on them instead of in your garage and a place to store your tools shops aren't that expensive with the electricity even
Mt07 is raw that’s why I love it
Bahaha! Nope! Go Ravens!! We got this!! 8-3 baby!! Big truzzzz!! 💜🖤💜😈🔥🔥🏈🙌🏻
Just picked up a new GSX-8S this week, its pretty sick.
I bet Yamaha will just increase the stroke of the same motor to bump it up 50ccs.

Have not ridden bike w electronic throttle. I did test drive a dodge magnum a long time ago and teah felt wierd and had a delay in response. I hate the sight glasses...i want a dipstick.
in eu the cp2 engine is the best out of stats with engine problems after that its suzuki 650 v twin
I suggest test riding the hond and suzuki and see how the throttle feels along with quick shifter

I agree with a cable Fuch ride by wire

Slap a Rapid Bike Evo in there, bet.
in hes class MT07 its the king
I love the 07 it’s just too small for me, a 6ft person.
Get the Ducati V4 Streetfighter!
He will never do that :)
@@EEEBA1 That’s a sick ass bike!
@@jhonnydumeny9816 Absolutely, I agree.
You already know how long I’ve had my bike. It’s only played out when you are bored with it man! Otherwise you gotta make room for 2. 😂
I was cheering for Honda to release CBR 750 this year, since I want to switch from naked to sport 270° twins
But Honda came with 650 E clutch, I guess I’m going with CBR for comfort: letting go of my favorite twins I can live without (R7, 8R)
CP2 will always be my favorite sound though, but MT 07 clutch and suspensions aren’t as comfortable for me who ride thru heavy traffic almost daily
Its cool to see Honda bring the cb750 Hornet to the U.S. I'm excited to see how the new cb1000 hornet is going to eb as well. I saw the new e-clutch, it looks to be really nice to have. That could be the future.
I think it’s funny how much you nail gear but then your cutting the safety electronics on your bike
Ofc sell it, buy new = new content 🎉
No, u get get different style bikes
Wayyyy, played out in Performance, looks and Tech...Get rid of it !!
Sounds really good
and parts for the mt 07 are eeasy to get
I like the look of my 2016 MT-07 but I have stuck with it so long 7 years and the only bike i owned after the Yamaha R125.
The new MT-09 SP has definitely got my interests, i thought I wouldn't need a new bike.
That bike have an excellent engine but the new chasis its very thin and fragile I think that you shoud wait to better chasis or get 2020 or previous model
This is what you do,CC.
GET the 1000RR.
then go out on Friday or Saturday night, get on the highway and do 150, I wanna see you outrun PDLIVE ❗
🤣 Man that takes me back. I was always worried about going to jail with the booty warrior but he is out now. lol
Good riddance, bring the exoticas ;)
