ESP USA - Have a wild guess
E II - Japan (Factory made)
LTD - Far east, (Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, China).

no manufacturer makes 'handmade' guitars anymore in the true sense of the word. they're hand assembled and 'hand finished'. automated CNCs do the bulk of the work for speed and consistency.
80386 ESP Original Series and Custom Shop guitars are still handmade though...

ESP are made in the custom shop, ESP E-II used to be called ESP standard and they are made in Japan, ESP ltd are the affordable “mass production” version’s made in Korea china or Indonesia.
The Korean LTD's are awesome for the money.
I Like the question on people who are better. I see that as motivation to get better and not demotivation. They are people you can learn from.

No doubt, not sure what they were thinking when they brought the E-II brand into it. They had a "standard series" with the ESP logo on the headstock that was at the price point the E-II's are now. If you're paying over 1500(new) it should say ESP on the headstock, period.
ESP is the best big name guitar company when it comes to quality, consistency, aesthetics and affordability.
LTD's are 80% of the guitar awesomeness of an ESP for like 40% of the price. Can't beat that

Hey Ola, thanks for that comment about how inspired you were after 4 weeks with no playing. I fractured my elbow and my right hand is in a cast - I'm not touching the guitar for 2-3 weeks, gonna miss a gig my band's playing (it's a tiny club so they're going to play with just one guitar and hope for the best) and all that fun stuff. It's been 7 days already, so it's either a week or two weeks more. Thanks, this made me feel a little better ;)

ESP also has three Japan exclusive sub-brands called Edwards, Navigator and Grassroots. They may have even more.
I think Edwards has those cool "pickguard guitars" that's just a Strat, but everything is cut off except the pickguard.
Dear Ola, thank you so much for your videos. I really enjoy watching. Could you please make another video how to adjust a guitar. For instance, I am especially interested in changing string gauges. Would you recommend replacing and filing the nut by yourself? Cheers.
Fishman aren't Active pickups, they're Active Voicing, most players who like passive over active pickups prefer Voicing 2 on the Fishman which is Passive, you can always wire them so the Passive comes on first. The Battery powers the tech not the pickup. You can see if Fishman would make you a signature pickup with two passive Voicing?, like what Will Adler has with his signature pickup. That would be a cool option to have on some of your Solar guitars
What song or riff have you written that you are most proud of? What riff from another band do you wish you wrote? Excluding Walk, I know that one is up there.

Ola sounds like you need to try sone of the EMGs that are made to sound passive like the Het Set and 57/66 set, EMGs sound great with certain tones, for thrash they are great

Reverse headstocks solution: Make solar guitar with a double reverse headstock. It'll look like a regular headstock with tuners on top, but there would be an evil undertone.

Working for a pickup company is one thing, but bald-faced lying about products from said company is another thing altogether. A person is worthless if I can't trust the words that come out of their mouth.
+ INF1D3L010 just give me some examples man, i havent heard about him lying yet.
Well, there was his video on Dimebuckers, which Dime actually never used in any live or recording situation, touting them as the "best way to achieve Dime's tone." If you can get your hands on them, Ken Lawrence L500XLs are the *only* way to get close to Dime's tone. Dimebuckers sound like utter shit, and are sadly some of the most expensive pickups on the market. They are the only pickup I consider to be worse than SD Invaders, and that's saying something.
Then there's the fact that his Seymour Duncan videos are glorified advertisements masquerading as reviews. That's pretty dishonest if you ask me. Have you ever heard him say a single negative thing about a Seymour Duncan product? The answer is probably no, and that should concern you.
Endorsing a product is one thing, but literally turning yourself into a glorified PR guy for one of the blandest sounding pickup manufacturers on the planet is quite another. Seymour Duncan is a shitty, massively over-priced company, and Keith Merrow handles PR for them. I don't trust anyone who works PR, and you shouldn't either. Their job is to lie and sell you a product. Nuff said.

Chuck was so metal he didn’t have to worry about being metal. A tremendous human being. I love listening to Richard Christy talk about the prank calls they used to do together, which is incredible considering how great Richards prank calls on the stern show are.

Hi Ola. My favorite way to "practice" guitar is noodling (just playing whatever comes out of my fingers and not thinking about it too much). I find this to be the most fun way of playing and I do it almost every day. However, I find myself just playing the same stuff over and over, and I'm kinda tired of the way that I play (same riffs, chords, etc.) Aside from just sitting down and forcing myself to learn new chords/scales etc., any tips on bringing in new flavors to my natural playing style? I need some new ideas to noodle with.

Hey Ola! If you were to tour with analog pedals, what would be your perfect choice of pedals for OD, Wah, delays, etc? Besides the AX8, have you ever given a chance to go on tour with a Line 6 Helix, Headrush, or any other digital processor? Everyone seems to prefer the fractal and hate or avoid using line 6 or other brands, I do think they all sound different and do a good job on simulating amps and effects, but still not better than the analog stuff, what do you think?
Thanks for the good chanel. I have a number of amp simulators on PC of most amps you feature and I get a great sound but I have no comparison to the real sound.
