I went to the video and told the guy it was a sucky move against Ola and he replied that wasn't his intention, he just wanted to say Nergal didn't want a typical swedish sound... when has nergal used the hm-2? anyway, the guy said he just used a video with someone using the buzzaw tone.
@@NickSwe Exactly what I thought, they just used a snapshot of Ola's video as example because he demonstrates some of the old school sounds so well.
So in that way it is actually a compliment.

Avatar is such a amazing band :). You listen to their first 3 albums I believe and they sound very swedish melodeth, then they just became AVATAR. I really love Bloody Angel :). Really that whole Hail the Apocalypse album is great. Also super excited for Slipknot and Korns new album! P.S. can't wait to get me a lefty solar ;).

I’m just about to become a musician by amalgamating my theory into my musicianship through my guitar playing. So basically playing chords and scales and modes no idea about rhythm though through improv and knowing about knowing about chord voicings and appropriate chord and melodic changes etc. Been atonal since 2002, I can’t just play but have some tone in my fingers. So I need theory heavy coming from my subconscious when playing otherwise the well of ideas just evaporates. It’s cool, hoping my hobby continues to inspire me. Thanks for the inspiration, Love your album Svart, is class!

Hey, Ola have you checked out the band Svavelvinter? It a project of Christian Älvestam and all the songs are in Swedish, but I find my self singing some of the songs chorus's every now and then, Döds Ände is a great song to check out.

Guitar set up truss rod adjustment. That slight bend in the neck should always only bow toward the bridge. And the curve is called relief.

Have you considered releasing you "Coffee with Ola" as a podcast. Since it's a long form interview it maybe better suited for a podcast. Plus I've heard that interviewees can sometimes be turned off by cameras and feel more comfortable when they are just heard in audio form. Love your content.
