      I have the same reaction every time I ride my Duke 390. KTM make great entry level bikes and in Australia they are cheap because most people don't try them here.

    Does that come with the quick shifter option. I have the Duke 390/ 21 model and just put a 14 tooth sprocket on the front and like you say it is a great deal of fun and I do not need anything else for the time being. Good video thanks from Brisbane Australia 🎉🎉

      Hello from Texas!! The bike does not come with a quick shifter but you can have it added on as a option. I was going to have mine added but I heard the factory one isn’t that good. I love quick shifter and auto blip on my other bikes but I’m ok with it off on this bike. Just adds to the fun to shift.

      Project HTH: thanks! I rode this bike up in the Texas hill country and it is super fun. Could use a bit more power rolling up those hills but fun just to wail on the throttle! The handling is where it’s at on this motorcycle. Comfortable too.

    Bought mine Oct 22. It's too small for my use (highway). I'm not used to watching your gear selection at highway speed (70mph). If it dips under 6k RPM even at 70mph, it's not coming back in any hurry... So constantly watching out and shifting gears on the highway is a little bit of a pain. Also I swapped out the front brake system cause the stock was shit. Other than that, love the look love the bike.

    • @tebuchenself2882
      @tebuchenself2882  Год назад

      Agreed on the power. There’s a awesome area to ride out here called the hill country. Lots of curves and long stretches of hills. If you’re not charging the hill with high revs and speed you’re going to slow down the group. But awesome looks and loads of fun!

    One of the main things holding me back from getting this bike is that I've heard its not as reliable as the ninja 400, and its harder to find replacement parts. have you experienced this? what do you think?

    • @tebuchenself2882
      @tebuchenself2882  10 месяцев назад

      I have not had issues with getting aftermarket parts other than things being out of stock or on backorder. I find this with any new motorcycle. I would have to agree that the ninja would have more parts available and probably more reliable in the long term however, I have not run into any issues yet

      I would say coming from your 701, you will not be impressed with the RC’s power. But if you’re looking for a good looking, good handling, easy to ride motorcycle, this bike will not disappoint you.

      Vilgot Fribyter: Akrapovic slip on, Competition Works silencer chamber delete, orange anodized aluminum bits to the bar ends, brake fluid cover, and chain adjusters. Tail tidy off of eBay for a 2020 I had to mod slightly. I have levers and rear cowl coming.

      @justultrra3568 Год назад

      @@tebuchenself2882how exactly did you mod the tail tidy? Cause if I can buy a $20 one vs a $150 dollar one I'd rather

    • @tebuchenself2882
      @tebuchenself2882  Год назад +1

      @@justultrra3568: I would check to see if there are any 2022 versions available 1st. The one I got was for the 2020 a while back. I just had to trim of the edges to where the license plate bolts on to. Also, the underside of the tail is angled and the mounting portion of the tail tidy is flat so, not a flush fit but the 4 bolt holes line up and secures just fine. The rear tail signals bolt right up. I think did some minor splicing with the wires to bring over the plugs so I can remove the whole assemble for track days. Pretty easy.

    How is this on the highway/commuting?

    • @tebuchenself2882
      @tebuchenself2882  Год назад

      Alex V: This bike is very comfortable for a sport bike to commute with every day. It took this motorcycle out in the Texas hill country and rode about 200 miles. On the highway it has plenty of power and smooth. The only real lack of power is when in the hill country. The big long hills were a challenge for this bike to accelerate but still fun. Just had to get a running start.
