One of my favorites! Did you try it? How did it turn out? 😋
How much for psyllium husk and how much coconut flour?
@@ghadamerza3412 here is the full recipe: www.lowcarblove.com/blog/2-ingredient-tortillas ❤😊
We already watched your video and sharing measurements is a bummer
Really really thank you, the recipy was amazing, i try it, i will be using it again❣️
Got it thank you
I tried white oat fiber flour, It has 0 carbs, 0 sugars, added it to psyllium husk warm water turned out great, I do like the coconut recipe as well!!
how does oat flour have no carbs.. maybe you mean 0 gluten?
@@Annie1962 Oat Fiber Flour (not Oat Flour) only has insoluble fiber in it. None of that fiber stays in your body. It's made from the husk of oats, not the oats themselves.
May I know what’s ratio of oats fiber and psyllium husk?
Would you mind giving the ratio, please?
That’s a very brave combination. Did you spend the day on the toilet?
The consistency of the psyllium husk mixed with water almost looks like the consistency of cream of wheat. Loving all your recipes. They have really helped with my glucose levels.
I’m glad they have helped 🙂
I used almond flour and baking powder and the husk stuff with water and I felt like I was eating wheat corn tortillas and I am super full! Thank you Mayra for keeping us healthy and poufa free. God Bless ! ❤
That sounds delicious. How much almond flour and baking powder? Thanks in advance.
@@captainmorgan7809 Maybe try 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder, and 2 tsp psylium husk powder...☺
@@noeldeal8087 Thanks 😉
@@noeldeal8087I’m sorry, I tried this and it did not work. How much water do you use
hi, Can you please share the quantities you used to make it please?
Wow that's so easy I'm definitely making these, I have those two ingredients at home already, being mexican is not easy to leave tortillas out of your life so these are great, thank you.
Can see where softening the psyllium is critical. These simple recipes always take me back to my childhood… the smells, tastes and especially your joviality! The best of times. Thanks!
I just made these and they turned out good! The dough was easy to work with . The written recipe doesn't have salt and I didn't use any. It does need salt, but otherwise really good. It does have a mild coconut flavor to me. I would make these again!
I just ordered the psyllium husk. Can't wait to make these tortillas. Thank you for your awesome recipes!
You are my hero!! I bought coconut flour instead of coconut sugar and I’ve been trying out recipes but None of them are great. This on the other hand is beyond great and so easy thank you thank you thank you.
Oh, and not to mention, I have tried every version of store bought tortillas out there and I will never buy another.
Good evening Myra. Those homemade low carb tortillas look absolutely delicious. Thanks for sharing another one of your great recipes. 👍
I was impressed. I'm eager to try this one and I'll check out more of your recipes. Thank You!
Great video! Highly useful tips and optimistic tone are genuinely inspiring. Much appreciated for offering your insights! 😀
You did come with a tortilla recipe!! I'll get the ingredients and try making it tomorrow. Awesome. Thank you!
I so needed to see this!! Thank You!!!
omgeesh! I'm definitely making these! Thank you for such a easy simple recipe
OMG I can't wait to try this! Gracias!
Myra, your recipes are the ones that I always go back to! I'm going to dilly these up tonight with chives, white pepper, and sesame seeds and rub the pan with a little sesame oil. They should go well with a stir-fry! Thanks for doing such succinct and comprehensive videos. I have recommended your channel to so many starting low-carb!
Glad you like them! ❤😊
I can hardly wait to try this. I'll have to find some whole psyllium husks today because I only have the powder on hand right now.
Thank you for the recipe!
I eat tortillas all the time. This is so amazing ❤
Awesome gonna try this!
Looooooove your 2 ingredients recipes!❤️
Love! Thank you so much 😊!
Myra you are my favourite person to whatch doing any low carb recipes as you keep them simple and cost low which is so good .
I wish you had a low carb book I would definitely buy here in UK 🇬🇧
Nice to get some low carb recipes like this with out the almond flower🥴😄😃🙌 Thank you!
Love this! Thanks Mayra Jennifer 🤗🦋
YES!! Warm tortillas and butter and salt yuummy 😋 so so good!!
I really like this recipe, thank you so much! I tried a few other recipes and this one is my favorite.
Thank you so much . Much love from SA, l tried the recipe and l can say , you saved my life …. I have been struggling with lunch meals but now I’m sorted with your recipe
Thanks a lot for the recepie 💕💜💕💜💕
Looking forward to trying this recipe. Your comal pan looks like it would do well as a pizza pan also, using your cheese crust recipe. Help prevent the mixture from oozing over the sides, while keeping its shape. 💗
Made these last night to go with dinner. The kids had tacos and I usually only have some of the filling over shredded veggies. They were really easy to make (I have a tortilla press), cooked quickly and were delicious, they were also very filling. Make sure to drink lots of water with them because of the psyllium lol. The coconut flour makes them quite sweet and they would be delicious with sugar free syrup as mentioned by someone else here.
I just tried the spinach wraps today and they are life changing! Cannot wait to try these next 🤗
YAY! Too happy to hear ❤️
There really Good.
Oh could you send recipe
@@wendellst2266It’s Mayra’s recipe. Search Low Carb Love wraps. I just watched it before this video.
I made these today and they are PERFECT 🥰 Gracias!
My pleasure 😊
I made these and learned a huge lesson. Mis en place needs to be all set. Had a devilish time after letting the psyllium husk mix set for too long but all worked out in the end. Coconut flour does add a sweetness though even though ever so mild so I'll keep that in mind for next time. Thanks for this recipe though. Enjoyed it very much! (used it for chicken tortillas)
I really really like how simple your recipes are. I tend to remember them easier and go back to them to replicate. Thank you!
*This looks really tasty. Thanks for sharing another one of your great recipes* 😊
Hello from Austria! We just enjoyed the Tortillas! I feel so satisfied after eating! I filled them with some steak, salad, salsa, sour cream and Coleslaw made after your recipe😁 my whole family loves them! Thank you so much for all the tastey recipes.
Anna - thank you for the kind words. I am so glad you made a yummy meal 😋
You are an excellent dough maker!
Thank you for the recipe 👍
Love your channel! Changed my life for the better
Thank you for sharing this recipe ❤🎉
Omg! I have both ingredients at home. Why haven’t I made this before. Lol
Thank you! ❤
I want to try it!
Awesome thanks!
Thank you for the ricepe excellent BRAVO from paris thank you so much ❤
I love these 2 ingredient recipes. 9 out of 10 i would have atleast 1 of the ingredients. I get overwhelmed with trying to buy 10 items i dont have. Please keep these going, thank you❤
I tried this today, and it's very easy and delicious! Thank you.
I would like to give you a little tip that you'd love! After you've buttered and salt the tortilla, fold it in half, then place it back onto the hot gomal to get crispy on both sides; you'd enjoy it more!
Whoa 🤯 I have got to try that!
These were really great! I expected them to have a strong coconut taste but ... no! Really good texture. Definitely a winner.
Good idea!!!
Have to try thoses tortillas.
Loooved this recipe, thank you so much! Her blog has the nutrition facts: total carbs per tortilla 16g/Net carbs 4g
Girl, let me tell you how much I love you and how easy you make it for me to eat TACOS 🥰🥰🥰🥰
They look so delicious. I would be using butter too. Yum! :)
When I was a kid, my mom used to sauté tortillas in butter as a snack and we called it “butter burritos” 😊
WITH SWEETENER AND cinnamon... yum! Like cinnamon toast! ☺
Looks just like what I'm looking for!! Def going to try them
Thank you for this! ❤
You're so welcome! 🙂
BAMBOO LOVE RUclips channel I am BLOWN away by her yeast pizza crust! Give it a try! Now I am going to try her other recipes with bamboo fiber flour, I have tried coconut flour, oat fiber, almond flour - I have tried different blends! I am an experienced cook! I was blown away! PLEASE try - so low carb low calorie- my teenager said it tasted like dominos thin crust pizza
Love it ☺️
Converting my foods to keto. I love Mexican, so an easy quick try will be with my breakfast chimichangas. Luv your channel!
Thank you Mayra, I've been waiting for you to teach us recipes with coconut flour 😊😊😅
Hi from Auckland, New Zealand. I am reasonably new to your channel and I have to say, I am loving your recipes.
Thank you and welcome to my channel! ❤
Wow looks yummy 😊
Listen, I look forward to eating healthy because of this channel ‼️❤️
So glad! 😋
Same!
I agree, I can resume this channel with the following words:
LOW CARB
EASY
DELICIOUS
I will try this recipe. So far all the Keto tortilla recipes I’ve tried didn’t turn out good or as shown in the videos. Hopefully this one does . Thanks for sharing
Thanks for all the recipes ! You are amazing
Glad you like them!
Love them 💕 my nutritionist has me on a low carb diet ! This works great for me . Thanks again
I can't wait to try it! 😍 Is this your 3rd kitchen?
Myra! I enjoy your channel, dear god how I miss my tortillas! This recipe is just a dream, I have 50 pounds of butter to melt and this will greatly help!!!
Thank you.
Gracias me gusta sus recetas
Loooooved them. So close to real tortillas. Even the dough looks like corn masa. Tamales next?
Wgen i was a kid, my Tia Cuca used to make tortillas for us with our lunch. I miss the smell of them frying on the cast iron. I'm going to fry these on my cast iron skillet. Memories!
❤️
Love this simple recipe! I will try this tomorrow, thanks!❤
Looks good !!! I'm gonna have to get me a tortilla press next time I go to Tijuana. Tacos de Sal you are definitely an OG Latina
I just got a tortilla press! Woohoo!
Yummy
Your recipes and your presentation are great. Also, I appreciate how you pronounce Spanish words. Thanks!
You are a wonderful lady and I am not ashamed to say I love you, (hubby is OK about my new love.) I have a severe nut allergy and the minute I see almond flour I cringe. Thank you so much.
Would love to make these today. How long and what method should these be stored? Thank you!!
You had me thinking hard on how to say comal in English. A griddle! You’re right about a freshly made tortilla with butter. Takes me back. Is it okay to put the salt in the dough mix like you would with regular tortillas?
Thank you for,the precise instructions. I will let my PH sit in water.
I made your KFC biscuits today!! Love them and thank you. You are doing a great job. Judith Coles
Looks great, can we substitute the coconut flour with almond flour though?
Hi Mayra! Thank you so much for sharing and I’m definitely going to try these. Can I freeze the dough or after I cook them? Just wondering, as I’ll be prepping for the week..
I haven’t tried freezing them, but I’m sure you can freeze them for about a week and just reheat them on a pan whenever you want them!
They are really good! Had tacos for dinner and they were delicious! Was wondering what other flours you can use. Was wondering about potato flour.
I have a recipe for almond flour: www.lowcarblove.com/blog/keto-tortillas
I use oat flour
This is awesome! Could salt or other seasonings be added to the dough prior to frying without compromising results? Was thinking even to add some of my 0 carb corn flavoring?
I really love and enjoy all your recipes I just can’t find how much water with the ratio of psyllium husk that you put❤
I just made shrimp tacos for dinner tonight, I made my own tortillas too except the recipe I used had almond flour, coconut flour, xanthan gum, egg, apple cider vinegar, water, and salt and they are the most amazing keto tortillas. You can get 6 to 8 tortillas depending how big you want them. I cut my ball into 6 to 8 equal size wedges then I press them in the press with parchment paper and also roll them to get them really thin I used the same recipe to make my empanadas.
Lisa A Blunt would you mind sharing your recipe
Please share the recipe with measurements 😊???
@MargieK1 sure it is
1 cup almond flour
3 Tablespoons coconut flour
2 teaspoons xanthan gum
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 egg
1 Tablespoon water
Add all ingredients to a food processor with dough blade and mix until it forms a ball.
Shape dough into a big ball and into 6 to 8 equal pieces. Press using tortilla press or rolling pin using parchment paper the cook in a very hot cast iron skillet, or flat pan like the one in the video one at a time and should only take about a minute for each one. If using to make empanadas after pressing fill with meat then fold and seal with fork, cut a small slit and bake in oven until golden brown....add an egg wash to them before baking gives them a really nice color.

@@aradiarue thank you
Fantastic! Do they keep well in the fridge to reheat or is it best to eat right after cooked?
Hola Mayra, la saluda Juan. ese Psyliun husk es caro, por donde yo vivo. puedo usar envez xanthan gum . Gracias.
This is amazing. Thank you so much! Can you also make these with almond flour and if so will they still be low carb?
Hi! ❤️ you can use almond flour along with a few ingredients! Here is my low carb tortilla recipe using almond flour: www.lowcarblove.com/blog/keto-tortillas
Oh wow! Cannot wait to try! Could these be made into tortilla chips by baking them?
Can't wait for you to tell me how they turned out!
those were the days, when my abuela would make tortillas and we would do the exact same thing as they came off the stove...butter them with a little salt or she would fry them and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon
I know right?! Brings back alllllll the memories ❤️
Mijita! You've come to my rescue. Can't wait to make them. I like mine with plant based butter and sea salt.
You are welcome! 💕
Thx💖Looks easy can't wait to try it where is the tortilla maker from I need one ty.
amzn.to/3mVfxW4 enjoy!
I made real tortillas once. They actually came out pretty good. I didn’t have a press, so I had to roll them out thin with a roller. I’ll have to try these.
How did they turn out without a press?
@@LowCarbLove they actually came out really good. I was surprised at how good they looked and tasted!
@@LowCarbLoveHi, I made them without a press and they turned out really good! I love this recipe, tastes good, filling, great texture, healthy. For some reason they work better for me if I knead in some olive oil before I roll them out. Thanks for this recipe. Do you think we could lessen the amount of pysillium?
This recipe sure would save me the cost of Romero's Mindful Carbs tortillas! And yes, tortilla with butter (sans sal, though I might try it just once😉), is my go to late night comfort burrito. I'm just wondering if this low carb recipe will hold up to the big papas con huevos burritos I make in the mornings. Romero's works great but the amount of packages I buy can add up to $25 a month!
Could you make the dough the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight for 6 to 8 hours to make in the morning?
do you have a recipe to make keto pupusas? :)
Great! How do you store them and how long will they keep?💐
The tortillas last about 2-3 days once made and placed in a Ziplock bag.
Could you use flaxmeal instead of psyllium husk?
