Need more announcers like Romo, not only does he have an outstanding knowledge of the game with intelligent breakdowns of plays but he has fun with it. Hard to not like a guy that does a job so well without taking himself too seriously. His style almost reminds me of John Madden
He seems to get along with Jim Nantz really well too.

The fact that he can predict plays and read defenses and offenses with pinpoint precision as a commentator but couldn't seem to do the same as a QB is baffling.

If I want funny ill go to the comedy club, when I watch a game I want a knowledgable commentator who had successs in the game and does not favor centain teams in his commentary. Romo is not too bright and was not a good player. If he had been good he would still be on the field.
He retired cause that's what you do when you get old and have numerous injuries. He was a decent player and is a better commentator. You comment like you have personal issues with the guy lol
