I think you created a monster. Once I got this app I got some nice professionally watch faces. I even paid for a beautiful digital watch face with steps and other useful information. I wound up using a free animated Nuka Cola Girl watch face. Never underestimate the power of nostalgia.

I'm glad I watched your video because I downloaded that app earlier but I thought the majority of the faces you had to purchase, so I deleted the app. So now I'm going to redownload it. Thanks!
The trouble with the free ones is that most are fremium.....they bait you with the basic version, then all the cool customizations like choosing what to display (weather, battery life, different background, etc) require the pay version. Also this app only allows four downloads at once on the watch, so you will have to re-dowload them if you want to get an older choice back. As usual every watch face service gets your data as a requirement.

Appreciate the video. One thing I didn't notice in the video, is if information like steps and heart rate are updating properly. They are not updating on my Watch 4 classic on any face they offer. I did enable all permissions for Facer on both my phone (S21) and watch.
Only paid version. So you actuallly pay to get the proper thing.
Awesome vid! Definitely looking to add this to my watch! I do have 2 questions. Do these faces drain battery, significantly more than Stock Faces in Wear app?Are the Complications stats/data accurate?

It varies between faces, but I believe these faces drain just a smidgen more battery than the stock faces.

no it doesn't unless you have a watchface that does not have any true black elements.

The watch 4 is a awesome watch
I see no noticable difference in battery life. With the facer app you can even change a few of them without being connected to any ofter device or LTE/wifi. If you go to customize it will show you a few recent ones even with no internet connection

No Galaxy watch yet. Tried installing as shown in this video. It works, without any Samsung product needed.
I like the feature of having the phone battery info, but I got the watch to stop me using my phone as much. I would consider paying some subscription if I can have more faces stored.

How's your battery life with facer watch faces? I'm going to try it again, just for some reason I used it and my battery drain was awful but I think it was because the auto switch on thee LTE model is broken and still phones home to the nearest cell towers despite in Bluetooth range.
I too would like to know the answer to this question. I have read some threads stating that the watch itself doesn't get that great of battery life compared to previous Galaxy Watch models so a app that consumes more wouldn't be good at all. My Classic GW4 will arrive today and I have mixed feelings already.
@@bkeaver644 oh you gotta give android 3 days for battery optimisation to kick in but if you want to use always on display this is what i recommend.
AOD on
WiFi off
GPS off (until you open google map or a work out when you can switch it on with ease)
LTE: off (turn on when you're away from phone if you have 4G connected model)
touch to wake off
tilk to wake off
always on heart rate can be on if you want but turning it off will give solid 2 days imo but with if you want it on if will give about 1 and half day at the least.
Drained my battery faster than before I downloaded it
I haven't even tried it yet and it's obvious that it will drain your battery life faster. If you want long Battery Life but also a cool watchface you should choose a default one without much info on it so a clean looking design and if you want custom ones get them manually from the playstore or similar. Facer App will always run in the background in order to work.

Some of the BEST Watch Faces I've found have come from Matteo Dini.
The problem about facer is that the watch faces are not interactable. You can look at info, but cannot, for example, measure the pulse straight from the watch face.
And the watch use slot more battery with facer app. I prefer watchmaker, and it's more battery friendly than facer.

I have used Facer but a lot of the time the dials don't sync for example steps, phone battery etc

Can you fully customizable a watch face I want the battery life on the bottom date and time on top of face with black background
It will drain your battery I uninstalled after 4 days. Went from 100% at noon to 24% after 8 hours while I had this app installed
I use this app and my battery lasts 2 days
Your battery live depends on how crazy or how much animations in that particular watch face you chose
@@SlyloveBoa ive used animated watch faces as well and my watch still didnt die that quickly but of course it depends on ones usage
@@SlyloveBoa exactly, and animations aside, it is also what your brightness setting is and whether you have selected 'always on display ' and any other background apps etc
I have been using it and it easily lasts me a day and half, obviously I have watchface that has some elements of true black to save battery.
edit: I use it with AOD on

Installed Facer yesterday before watching this but I hate how there's no battery percentage on watch 4 like why isn't there a option like the active 2. I hate having to swipe down just to see battery level.

Can't get any of the faces to show heart rate and steps. Any ideas? I gave it permission to access sensors when prompted.
I use watchmaker over facer facer. Galaxy 4 battery life is terrible and facer makes it drain faster. Plus watchmaker gives you Rolex Brietling and other luxury watch faces. Only down side you have to get the premium app but well worth it.
Yes because the system is set up that way when you talk on the watches on the Galaxy 4 it will drain your battery and you have to keep it charged up and you have to keep a charger with you
Yes I know the thing where you get a watch got this system in your watch voice assistant and you can call on your watch it still will take a lot of your battery life 100%, but the big company is not going to tell you that
Oh yes they got some other watches you can call on but most of them do the same thing drain the battery because the system in the watch will do that could it take a lot of power from the battery

When I scroll down and hit continue my watch will just go back to my normal watch face. It wont let me select the facer watch face
I used facer on my active 2 , it has nice watch faces but it has some bugs the watch face info is not accurate, and the app has bad impact on battery

the problem with facer is the heart bpm measurer, they dont show you the right number... otherwise, facer got some AWESOME faces
