Nathan Lane won 3 Emmy Awards for Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program - Timon & Pumbaa: Season 1 for playing Timon, Outstanding Performer in an Animated Program - Teacher's Pet for playing Spot/Scott and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series - Only Murders in the Building: The Boy from 6B for playing Teddy Dimas.
I care, NATHAN! Love you to bits. Love you in bits. Stephen Colbert should do a special with you singing, dancing and telling stories. It would be fabulous!
I've been asked "if you could have a lunch with any celebrity, living or dead, who would it be?" And people are surprised when I say Nathan Lane. Although he's not my favorite actor (I don't really have one), whenever I see him in interviews, I'm always hooked on every word. The way this man tells stories is so charming and heartfelt. I always get the sense that he's lived such an interesting and full life and knows how to spin the stories in such a way that makes people laugh. I would legitimately love to spend a lunch with him and hear him talk about The Producers the whole time. I wouldn't even need to say anything, I just want to hear him tell his story.
I had the honor to see Mr. Lane in "It's Only A Play". There was a scene where he & Matthew Broderick were fighting not to 'break character' & were stifling laughter. In the end, they couldn't keep it together & started laughing. The audience was so tickled by their failed efforts that we started laughing hysterically. It took a few minutes for them to even continue with the dialogue; it was a terrific moment. The cast in that play was phenomenal & I absolutely enjoyed that performance. Thank You, All.

Roy Cohn used to be Donald Trump's attorney and mentor from 1973-1985.
I would love to have seen a picture from Nathan's Broadway debut as Roland Maule opposite Frank Langella in the revival of Noël Coward's "Present Laughter."
I took my mother to see Love, Valour, Compassion for her birthday. All I knew was that it was an award winning show. When the male nudity presented itself in all its swinging glory, I shrank down into my seat and tried to enjoy the rest of the show. Afterwards, my mother was happy to tell her friends how I took her to see naked men. I miss mom.
lol..great story..I bet your mom enjoyed the play😊...I remember seeing it and at one point everybody got naked( except for Nathan Lane) and after a while it sort of became normal and not a "thing" anymore...it's my strongest memory of the show though..that and Nathan's ass which indeed was hilarious 😊
Nathan Lane is so underrated in Hollywood, shame. Is my favorite actors in World. Guys and Dolls, Francky and Johnny, Mousehunt, Love valor compassion, the Birdcage, November, Addams familly, people vs oj Simpson, The Nance ❤, The Iceman Cometh, Angels in America 👏, The Good Wife, Penny dreadful city of Angels (one of the best role TV or movie), Only Murders in the building, The Gilded Age and soon Beau Is Afraid from Ari Aster.

You've got to hear this. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name (Jesus/God's son) under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.Acts4:12 Repent/believe before God's wrath on an evil unbelieving world. Out of love Jesus died for you, live 4 him.
Nathan was too modest to mention that "The Producers" won EVERY Tony it was nominated for, ALL TWELVE!
That's still the record for the most Tonys won by a single production - THE PRODUCERS, with twelve. To put that in context, HAMILTON won eleven.
Close! Roger Bart was nominated along side Gary Beach and Gary won! Brilliant show & performances all around.
Not every actor won.
i could listen to his stories for hours.
Same here.
👍💟
Yes, indeed! 🤗🥰🤗
Treasure this man is. Absolute treasure.
He must be protected

Love these ‘extra’ segments - Throw Back stories was awesome. Nathan Lane is such a humble man. I love his shout out to the living Legend Mel Brooks.
Yes! Please do more of these with all the Broadway stars who come on the show. Thank you!
The Producers is one of my favorite films of all time. I adore Nathan Lane!
And yet they wanted it to be one of your least 😂
Talks about everyone else's accomplishments rather than his own. Smart, kind and humble soul!

Did Colbert twist your arm? Good job. Stay safe

Just make this a show
Anyone else remember the sitcom Nathan did with Mickey Rooney and Dana Carvey called "One of the Boys"?

Missed opportunity Kevin Mccarthy pictured here with Fred la marmotte
Like I always says, if you want to get a laugh out of male nudity you goes to Nathan Lane.
Timon?!?!??!
Fun Fact: In all 50 states, it’s illegal to not like Nathan Lane.

Why are men who are obsessed with me trying to make me into a childlike character? Disturbing.
No one is obsessed with you Renee
