Oh how I miss my 2012 2.0L manual CC! This full boat V6 model is a rare beast! Pricy too! 95% will be happy with the 2.0L turbo! Thanks for this surprise review Steve!!
This car is worth every penny it cost, very reliable too I've had mine a year and never spent any money on it. great speed with the engine can't get that noise from the TSI.
As I remember the VW dealer visit, my 6.2 can't sit in the back with my head attached, only the front seats are adequate. After all it is a 4 door coupe.
Why VW Corp is surprised to see US sales going down? It is the bad quality that eroded the trust and market share. I have bought a VW CC 2014 R line in September 2013 and it had issues after issues from Wastegate rattle, clock springs, sway bar etc. Even after taking it 5 times and 4 clock springs later, the car makes loud rattling noise on regular Highways in Texas. I just can’t imagine a 35K USD car could make such rattling noise from the steering column area. The VW Tech came out with an excuse “normal characteristics” whereas cheaper Jetta & Passat do not make that sound on the same road surfaces. How could you fix quality control issue when this pervasive nature exists from the front line VW technicians? How could they flag issues to rectify parts design flaws if they play this game? VW CEO can dream on to be # 1 but he can’t rattle his way up to number 1!
The bonnet (hood for you yanks) is no where near as nice as the previous incarnations, it's much less aggressive looking. I actually think this color and wheel combo is horrible. Actually I think the wheels are nice if a little over cooked styling wise but the colour is rotten!!!! It's like the colour you'd see and a 60 yr old's nissan Almera uuuurrrggghhhh
When I saw the thumbnail for this review, I thought it was a Passat. The styling is way too tame compared to the previous generation and this CC should not command a $40,000, no matter how good its wheels look and it exhaust sounds.

excellent video production ..... worthy of Network Television in every dimension
$40G, 20mpg, and premium gas? Hard to walk into a dealership knowing all that! Great review, Steve!
Its the top trim sportiest version, lol.
Those wheels are awesome!
That Color and Wheel Combo is Gorgeous!

Can u review the 2014 kia optima?
It should be worth noting that the moonroof only tilts. It doesn't open all the way
Headroom in the back appears to be suspect? Is that correct?
silat13 rear seats are lower in the back to make up for that
Good review, my '09 CC Sport 2.0T didn't sound nearly as nice and cost half as much.
yeah steve comment on the lack of reliability in german cars
in EU it has 300HP :P

1:21 the badge/trunk release comes loose on acceleration.
It was actually because when the rear view camera is engaged, the trunk release pops open like that
Im shocked! This does not seem like a $43000 car! Wow
Stealth wealth my friend, stealth wealth
I prefer the older fronted.
Beautiful car but hard to justify the price
Its to bad german cars are not reliable and are expensive to fix
I agree oneofone, this myth of foreign cars being so much better blah blah blah.i have 2001 crv that eats brakes like beavers chew on a log

Its beautiful, but would never buy it: it doesn't have a big 5th door!!!
Looks like it's on stilts...
