@STOKERMATIC ah, ok it just said Patreon on the video so I went looking.
I guess I have to join then.
@STOKERMATIC as soon as RUclips allows me to since I am still in Panama, but my banking info is in the US. But that's why proxy routes, and tor vpns were made.
It's 22 00, and you hear SAR! SAR! SAR! Your video underscores the absolute importance of education whether at sea or on land.
I hope your videos on mountain survival kits are taken to heart by day hikers, over nighters etc. There's similar education for boaters to keep them safe. Safety Of Life At Sea SOLAS.
Thank you for the effort you put into these videos!
This sounds more ominous than merely a missing person. I like it. Well done Top.
🇺🇸
Good coverage of various methods. We find most hikers pretty quickly, but cliffs are one of the biggest issues and sometimes involve high-angle work to verify signs or implement rescue/recovery.
ALWAYS PREP FOR THE WORSE, BECAUSE IF IT HAPPENS AT LEAST YOU HAVE A CHANCE. Great vid Stoker.
Rather be prepared and never need it than need it and be unprephared.
Thank you. Would like to see more training of this type. Yes, let's keep this conversation going.
Good information on lost person behavior. Works for those wanting to be found.
People not wanting to be found are inherently harder to find, because it is not as predictable, what they may do..
Absolutely a science when tracking down a person outdoors
To train the Dogs, Man Killer type. We are the evaders. The dogs are trained to track down escapees and for Border Patrol, mostly German Shepherds are used. Rule #1. Disguise you scent by rolling in dirt and mud.
First Aid ,always included items for Bites.
Med Pac is not a first aid kit and to use a Med Pac required a few years of training and is four components , #4. Is Female. To learn to use that component requires another four years of education and training all total 9 years of study and learning application. I call it my Vet bag, for Veterinarian, or the applied methods and techniques of Human Female Horse Medicine.
It works!
Everytime I have found someone alive, they always needed medical assistance! Some worse than others. Leg Cuts, and Feet are the two things that I have treated people for, that are the most common.
I have more concern for livestock, because people are idiots when they are Outside in the Wilderness and usually had no business being out there in the first place.
Know Navigation
Know First Aid
Always advance yourself in such knowledge.
Watch Stoker show you how.
Immensely inspiring, and potentially translatable general purposes.
Thank you..
9:49 well done video Iam a SARTECH II with Berks County Pennsylvania Search & Rescue Also was trained in tracking by Fernando Moreira of WorldWide Trackers
Most people have no clue what a search is,they think it’s a bunch of people that got together to look for a lost person, not realizing the technicalities of it
Appreciate your service to your community!!
I was lucky enough to do a number of tracking courses over the years. Not only a great skill, but one that has real applications. Cannot recommend this enough, whether for hunter, soldier or rescue personnel. It is also a really fun course package.
Im only here for the outro music, it is awsome 😂 Good video!
Outstanding video. Lots of fact and statistics and no hyperbole. Wonderful. I always look forward to your videos.
That was very interesting, Skoker.... thanks, man! 🍺🥃
Excellent information!!
I would love to see you put on a in depth video of man tracking for every one to learn
Badass man!
I found this quite interesting. I did not realize how much is involved. Thank you for the information.
I haven't seen a better video in a long time, thanks for the information.
👊
Liked the video. Darn fine production Stocker.
Appreciate it!
Awesome more of this please!
I am "Stoked" for the next vid like this. Or Urban/CQB. Could you do a vid on how this would work in reverse for Evasion? As in how to escape and not get seen.
I’m sure I’ll do some more brother!
Well done. I volunteer for SAR. Great tips. Keep up the awesome content
Great video, a bit more academic than I was expecting. Excellent advice.
Excellent information video.
I was happy to hear you conclude that it is less of a science and more of an art.
I own a number of tracking books, and although you could, in theory, measure the stride length of the steps and it does become a bit of a science, it's not that simple.
As you mentioned, there are so many variables that can come into play and like an artist develops their skill and tracker needs to develop their eye for tracking. With time and reps, the intuition becomes the greatest guide.
Great thoughts man!
Good video. Interesting stats . Have a great evening
Wow! Alot of info. No matter how much experience we have we should always carry a compass and signaling devices because anything can happen at any time. Thanks fer the vid Bro
Great video (from a retired tracker/medic)
Appreciate that Ted - both your kind words and service to your community.
Good info thanks!
Well done Bill!
As a habit, I still put notches in 1 inch increments on my hiking staffs for tracking
And I bet these skills came in handy while recently in northern CA! 😎
They sure did!
Outstanding, as always sound information . 👍
You will be very surprised when you're tracking for Day's your sight and smell sense is magnified x10
Footed/handedness of subject for circularity ranges/directions for target area etc as you well said.
Very good. ❤
Great video and knowledge! It was like watching a documentary. Awesome work!
Good video, Daniel Boone 😁
Great Video !!!!
Another awesome video
Great video my friend! Very informative.
Really good
I tried getting on the show hunted, but was rejected due to the producers realizing I was guaranteed too win.
Just rewatching this video, and realized that I might be in it. At 4:48 I believe that is me and the crew chief from that Blackhawk helicopter. Doing a cliff rescue of a guy who fell about 60 feet and was on this narrow ledge. This was when the helicopter was coming back in to hoist out the subject who was in a litter. Myself and the crew chief were lowered on the hoist, to that ledge with the litter, two other persons, one SAR and a flight nurse from the air ambulance service were also on the ledge, having hiked in and climbed down to the subject. There was also several hiking buddies that were with the guy when he fell, who had climbed down to the ledge. Not sure who took the video.
I am no longer with the SAR Team, but still have that red SAR Jacket.
Good video , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Great Video Top
Good vid as always keep going
When hunting a escaped convict. It's emportunt to know. If he is looking for a one armed man. LOL😂
😂🤣😂
Very interesting content.
Knocked that one outta the park. Excellent info. Thanks Stoker!
First! Cool video BTW! Love it!
🥃
Great video man, but what about a stalk and recon lesson. With everything going on in the world I'd like to practice and learn how to patrol my area and spot undesirables in case the worst happens.
Also UF pro did a very good series on stalking 2 legged prey, that are armed.
It was well directed.
Awesome 😎👍
short but informative, can you expand more in another video
Missing 411 is great information. Watch out for Bigfoot !
Ten men to search 170ish acres? Shit, they'll never find me. Unless I'm wearing blaze orange and standing in the middle of a field.lol
Awesome ved brother need one evasion
Check out my fieldcraft playlist. 👊
Nice basic info video sir. Understanding forensics of tracking and human locomotion as it relates to the mental thought and decision making process and much more is needed. Years of work as a tracker but that’s what it takes. Determining step heights, upper body and head movements, aging, foliage damage and aging, bodily injuries, rifle or pack load shifts, etc etc takes things to the next level. Far beyond LPB or MLPI. If you would like to obtain tracking or search and rescue certifications I’ll be in Minnesota training and certifying a team in august. That’s as far north as I’ll get this year. Come join us. Free for you sir.
Appreciate that! Maybe after I get out I’ll be closer to ya. Never know!
@@STOKERMATIC anytime sir. Stay safe!
Upload challenge video about hunting man
I personally know two of the guys who wrote the books on lost person behavior, as well as the training program, Managing Land Search Operations. Those are a few good books to get if you want to learn more on this subject.
Great video Top!
561 Jacobson Passage
Tracking wounded people.
STOKEMAN!!!
Hunting man or hunting, man… punctuation matters…🤔
👍
do a countertracker eps
The skill is a big deal. I can loose most relatively unskilled people the woods in a few seconds. A highly skilled tracker would find me very quickly because I am not a highly skilled evader. By the same token I can find most people in the woods very fast, but a highly skilled person would be able to evade easily be sure I do have some glaring weaknesses I am working on. Are there any schools for this?
There are several tracking courses out there, but I have no personal connection to them. If your in the SE, check out Strategic Self Reliance & Defense in TN.
Unfortunately, it's imperative that you open this email as soon as possible.

Appreciate that! 🥃
Videos for people who dive right in there tracking people they know nothing about.
Seriously, more expected actions for a refund?
Git rid of that ridiculous hat. Things you could catch in your peripheral vision with a more suitable hat such as movement could be very important. Such as a bear or someone you are looking for.
