- We're in the eleventh hour of the tracking pursuit. The gathered intel suggests a quarry is not local to this area, giving our trackers a bit of an edge. Boris shows the tactics used by the US Border Patrol when following coyotes (human traffickers and drug runners) along the Mexico-US border.

Man..i am going to miss this series.
I have not watched this episode yet, and I totally agree, what a serie!
I'm going to continue
Yeah man this series is so good
Dissapointing ending? No way. As in life, the journey is as important as the destination.
Respect always to trackers and rangers. A special breed of people.
Thank you for the series...
Ending was great!
Things don't need to end badly my friend..
Life IS a journey...
Absolutely fantastic series. Hope to see more of Boris in future series.
Need to get a sponsor and create a reality tv show... "Outwit the Tracker" , where Boris gives you a 6 to 12 hour head start and starts hunting you...all proceeds go to conservation orgs.
That is not an outrageous idea;) I will have some rangers with me though. They are next level.
@@borisvos1971 Amazing series Boris! Hope to see more of your vids with UF Pro!!
There was already a US series called Mantracker...Would love to see Boris reboot this.
They need a netflix serie
Remember that show Manhunter? This reminded me of that. I haven’t watched that show in years.
Now that's what I call an ending! Well done UF Pro and Boris Vos for this series. Genuinely enjoyed watching it :-)
Cheers, @typhon084! Happy to hear you liked it.
Agreed
I’m not in the military or in law enforcement i’m just a french wildlife photographer but some of the tips you showed in this series have already been useful for me ( I’ve tracked animals for 5 years in the forest now and I continue to learn new things It’s really a complex art), so even If I don’t seem to be the target demographic of this series or of UF-pros in general I would like to thank you for the awesome quality of this series and the new things I learned. (Sorry for my English ;) )
Hey mate. Great to hear it’s of value to you. Keep up the good work of documenting our wonderful planet 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Please do more of these! Very educational and entertaining.
Boris seems like such a genuinely great guy. Cheers to him and his work, the world is a lot better with him around
Thank you. There are many many people working on this, who don't get a chance to get in front of a camera. Stay well my friend.
@@borisvos1971 seconded - this is a wonderful video series! Thanks very much Boris, all the best.
I'll be a pro at hide-and-seek
Also, I thought they're making a bomb, because of the wires and leaving their equipment behing
Technically they were, but it was an exercise. That is why the target was the church.
yeah me too
the ending of this video series really broke my heart, i am going to miss this , the only thing i can say is thank you, thank you, and thank you ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️, you did such a amazing things, i wish see more content of you. be happy and healthy, love you from Iran🇮🇷.
Shukran. Stay well!
@@borisvos1971 ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Let’s all take a moment to appreciate the quality of this series and say thank you to UF PRO 😍🙏🏻
Agreed. Initially I thought it was a big production, Hollywood movie because of the production quality. So so good! 🤯👍🏾
Yes, have to say thank you to UF Pro too
Song at the beginning is "Last Goodbye" by Eric Kinny
Need more hero’s like you😂
Yeah, I Shazam'd it. Nice song.
Thanks, kinda hard to find
Thank yoy very much mate, keep up the great work
aw heck yeah, thanks
This is a man who speaks from his heart. What a legend.
What a beautiful series with a heartfelt powerful message. I hope Boris Vos come back in the future for a Africa episode with support of UF PRO gear :) I enjoyed this so very much, thank for a wonderful series.
The ending had me smiling and had me pouring a drink for myself. It was unexpected but a good one as said at the end.
Enjoyed this series, real professional. It was made easy to understand. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and stories and what not ^^
Stay safe, healthy and all that's good to everyone out there.
Thank you ;)
This was truly awesome. If Boris made a RUclips series about this topic I'd be delighted. I'd love to learn more but know I would never get a chance to practice the skill so it would be pointless. The seriousness in Boris' voice paired with genuine compassion for those rangers is unmistakably an invaluable asset to those he teaches. Please make a longer series covering more topics!
Thank you Dave, that’s very kind of you mate. Who knows, there may be some more on the way ;)
That Music..... That End.... Wait... that speech..... I'm speechless! Best day Ever
One of my most favorite things I've ever watch on RUclips in 10 years. Just TOP NOTCH.
The level of quality on these episodes is off the chart!
I just shed a tear. The ending was truly awe-inspiring. Big salute and respect to Big Vos (pun intended) and to all the park rangers out there protecting our big and small wildlife creatures.
This whole series is needlessly beautiful
Boris is a great instructor, he taught me combat tracking and information exploitation in East Africa. thanks for the series. it was good to see you buddy.
Hi John, great to see you here. Stay well my friend 🙏🏽👍🏽

How do you deal with sheep skin on boots to cover tracks
@@sagilevy8825 Hi Sagi. That goes into the realm of anti- and counter tracking. If you're LE or MIL, sned me a PM.
Kudos on your series really well done guys your lead tracker is very skilled. I am a Cherokee tracker taught by Stalking Wolf. I've just started a RUclips channel where I will be sharing things to try to keep people a little bit safer. I'm 76 years old so I've been at this quite a while. Over 45 years tracking the Selahtick First Nation's People... Commonly known as the Sasquatch. My goal and doing this work is to get their treaty given them by President Andrew Jackson back in the 1800s; restored and
their lands returned to them. And to get people to stop abusing them with their hairbrained obsession with trying to prove their existence. I teach tracking and six traditional martial arts.. in addition to being a tracker I am a still actively training Godan Bujinkan Ninjutsu instructor. My school of the wind dragon is not a way, religion nor a business. Is quite easy for me to find people interested in martial arts but it's easier for me to have close contact and interaction with the Sasquatch then it is to find people who are worthy of learning the tracking skills and training to go with me on adventures in the wilderness there just aren't that many really good serious people in this world. I'm simply looking for a few students good enough to go with me for mostly I've had to do this all alone and it's rather dangerous work for a man 76 years old to be doing alone. sehingfranciswinddragonschool@gmail.com feel free to veiw a short first video clip by clicking the icon bubble beside my comment here on my channel on utube under heading " slice and dice."
Any possibilities to get trained by Boris? I'm starting a project to help support SAR organisations throughout Europe and i'm wondering how you've setup your company and your history. In this project i'm going To teach, learn and spread awareness about and for SAR. Dankje voor je geweldige werk boris! gr Robin. Ik ga deze series missen! (i'm going to miss this series!)
That's a wrap. The Q&A with Boris has ended. Thank you all for your great questions. We hope everyone enjoyed the series and learned some new tracking skills. We'll be back with more soon!
This was incredibly beautiful. The ending really drew everything together in a way that helps those without exposure appreciate the importance and dedication of the Rangers. God bless and stay safe Boris.
I hate that everywhere in the world military, police, firefighter, rangers etc are underpaid and under appreciated, but they are doing very hard work and risking their lives every day to protect people. And everyone who hates them like many people do are the first one to ask them for help when in trouble. And after that again speak everything bad about them even if they have saved their lives. Good luck to everyone who risk their live for keeping peace and saving others lives.
Very well said. Thank you for this comment :)
I couldn't help but lol when she came over the radio and he didn't answer! Awesome video series guys! Definitely got these saved. Hope yall come out with more like this. Btw, you did a fantastic job and I'm glad it ended with a cold beer. 🍻 Cheers bud.
Great series, guys. The production value is unmatched. Also want to say, having been watching this series, I got to put it into practice just 2 days ago on a hike. Trail dissapeared, and managed to follow horse tracks through the trees leading back to our own boots and dog prints.
Great to hear! Keep at it, it’s so much fun and rewarding to track. Really resonates with that bit of DNA all of us have in us 👊🏽👊🏽
Awesome series! And filmed in just 3 days?! Excellent work by all involved. The bar has been set high by this series.
Thank you Boris for bringing your skills to the table and letting us all get a little sample of what is done out in the bush everyday. Amazing work.
Some of the best trackers in the world are the boys in green from the U.S. Border Patrol! They do this for a living day in and day out! Great job on the series!
Very true! Much respect and admiration for these men and women. Their track record is legendary.
Congratulations to UF pro and Boris for showing all the other companies that their marketing videos suck! Big fan, hope to see and buy more soon.
Fantastic ending.
Brilliant, almost a mini series.
Amazing cinematography..
I can not express myself enough on how much i love this series. Boris is incredible man with tons of knowledge. I write down every detail from this videos. Thank you so much for this Boris, uf pro and the team making this. You guys deserve the best 🙏🙏🔥 cant wait for more series
I trained under David Scott Donlan. Great human, and great series. Thanks for sharing. I got to track with Dave Diaz looking for a lost piece of equipment one day. Another great tracker and great human.
Checking in from Mexico here. Mr. Boris and all the UF PRO team, thank you very much for this series. As a RUclipsr myself I very much understand and appreciate the time and effort you've invested in the production of this series. My very best regards to you all!
What a great series. And as an African (From South Africa) it is great to know guys like these are part of protecting our wildlife against those filthy poachers. They are brutal and deserve what is coming to them. Here in South Africa we have a massive issue with Rhino horn poachers, they just cut off rhinos horns and leave them bleeding and in pain. It is disgusting. These guys risk their lives every day to keep our animals safe. The African bush is something else, it's really amazing. Well done to all park rangers and anti-poaching units for all the work they do. Legends
This is not a RUclips playlist, this is a movie. I never watch videos till the end, let alone playlists/series, always hopping to different videos never finishing any of them (ADHD style), but this got me so involved and interested that I watched every video till credits. Amazing shots, cinematic style, audio, scenario, everything. This was perfect! Thank you everyone who made these videos!
I've followed this series enraptured and transfixed by what you guys do and even this brief glimpse of how you do it. Thank you for an outstanding look at a virtually unknown skill set. May you and all the Rangers stay safe.
Thank you so much for this lovely series. Looking forward for more guides and series on different topics! Keep up the good work :X Thanks, Boris! Please support our wildlife by donating, raising awarness or volunteering!
That was incredible series! Very professional, too! I'd hope, it's not the end, that you'll create similar series in the future!
I couldn't stop watching it. Thank you!
Amazing series! Thank you for all you do to protect wild places and wildlife.
Both endings, the pub, and the part about wildlife and the rangers made what was already facinating, wonderful.
Thank you for making this.
These are where I wish The Tube had reactions like Fakebook. I would LOVE this series. And Boris talking at the end... This is beyond awesome and amazing. Tracking as a boy, with my Popeye was a great time. But, tracking poachers, or injured endangered species, to help them. I'll stop here, cuz I can't even express how I felt, listening to him talk at the end. The music, cinematography... The important work they do, in such a precious, primal land.
Sláinte folks 🍻
"Wtf guys, serious exercise!" Favorite part, brings back mems. 11B all the way baby!
Good stories start and end with a beer. Yes, sir! Superb production, my hat - and everybody's that has watch this series- is off. Respect from Argentina.
The ending.. the best I could have ever imagined for this amazing series. Boris Vos your work in Africa is inspirational. Keep up the good work. UF Pro the video you guys produce is just amazing.
Great , great, great series some of the best stuff you can find in RUclips .
Again, really good series! UF Pro and Boris Vos, good job! And it was a pleasure to attend your course last year :)
My full respect to you Guys!
You managed to do an interesting, exciting video with an awesome teacher and an hell of an plot twist!
For me as an hunter it's heart warming to see how someone care's about those animals with the passion they earn it.
Congratulations, to UF Pro.
But a huge "thank you" out of the bottom of my heart to Boris Vos and especially to the Park Rangers out there!
Good info as always. Thank you. Also appreciate his humble speech at the end.
Definitely one of the best series on RUclips. Thank you for making this as well as highlighting the rangers and the amazing work that they do. Coming from Africa, this just hits hard!
Thank you again
"Yes, Ma'am! Consider it done!"
Awesome!
Indonesian people, hands up!
I know some of u guys must be watch this series. Great lesson, and when i watch your videos is like, watching movies. So comfy.
Even im civilian, and, even can't buy some of your clothes, it's good to know how military and law enforcement operate for their mission. Hey, Can't wait for another series @ufpro
haha great ending!!! loved it! great job all around!
This was really well done... not overly dramatic or with juvenile appeal. I'm the team lead for our counties SAR tracking team and was looking for something to recommend to new members and honestly, to grow myself. As this video conveyed, tracking isn't just a bunch of gimmicks strung together but a bit of a life style... always a student and as one instructor told us, "you don't know how much you don't know about this subject until you get well into it". Very well done Mr. Vos. Thank you & please give us more.
Very nice work! As an experienced tracker I can say that this is a good video series. I especially enjoyed seeing how tracking is done with a tactical team since I have never done that before. Splendid, outstanding, wonderful, fantastic and all the other nice work in the world. Keep it up and STAY SAFE!
With all my heart we appreciate the work you have shown in this series. Empowering rangers with this knowledge is humbling. God Bless you.
Cool series! I very much appreciate your mission supporting wildlife rangers in Africa and fighting against poaching!
Thanks Christian, appreciate it. Will forward to the team
You guys are amazing! This is like a cinematic tactical perfection.
Wow. What an amazingly well-shot & informative series. Thoroughly enjoyed watching & learning. Can't wait for more series to come. Big thanks to Boris & UF Pro for sharing this knowledge in such an entertaining way to boot.
that tracking on the footprints and stuff is done really well good job whoever edited this
Fantastic series, great production value, quality content and people like Boris Vos. Bless you all, stay safe and thank you to all those for their service including all of the Rangers performing such wonderful, valuable work.
Amazing series, never thought this would be so interesting! Good job guys! One question, how do you track someone and it starts to rain, would not the rain destroy all the tracks? Or do you guys have a different tactics for that case?
Rain makes sign age very quickly, and will make it difficult. Sometimes, in the right substrate, it works to your advantage. Tracking in Ireland, in the Sleeve Bloom Mountains, I saw students (day3) track in the pouring rain, because the very resilient vegetation will remain pressed down due to the downpour. After rain is the best time for tracking!
Discardables, path of least resistance, just my opinion.
@@borisvos1971 I loved this series! Just binged all of it tonight, actually. Since you have your own channel, and I know you may not have time for this with LEAD Ranger and whatnot, but would you consider doing your own casual RUclips series on tracking? It'd be a great way to pass those skills on...God knows hardly anyone has them anymore.
I’m an ex Royal Marine trained in jungle tracking and I thought these videos were excellent, very informative, very slick and very watchable! Really enjoyed! 🤙🏻
I cannot thank you enough this is one of the most enjoyable series I've ever seen on RUclips
the tactics shown were amazing my deepest respect to all of you
keep up the good work
thank for all that you do
I was hoping for a firefight but I had a suspicion it would end like this. Awesome series! I can’t wait to see what is next! 😁
I think you were right on the money ;)
The cinematography of this entire series was phenomenal. Good job
I loved the series, thank you very much for all the effort. This channel still amazes me. Good Job!
This brought back lots of memories. A solid presentation of the fundamentals.
Thanks so much for this fantastic series. You've done a great job and your closing message is particularly poignant.
Thank you for sharing such a heart warming story, my thanks goes out to all those rangers and they guys who support and train them.
What an amazing series. Thank you for sharing.
The reason why i subscribed to this. Boris is amazing and i hope to see more series like these! Simply beautiful! Thank you!
Thank you Boris for Interesting series of Tracking. Absolutely you nailed it. No any mistake have did in that series. You are true hero. Nature will protect you you are doing valuable service in Africa.
Please bring a series on treating combat wounds or any kind of EMT in different types of environment (e.g. Tropical, Desert, Extreme cold, ). I've been subscriber of this channel for quite a long time AND i definitely love all the series and videos you guys bring, Absolutely high quality content & probably THE BEST you can watch on RUclips . Lots of love from INDIA.
A very very well made series
Awesome series! Loved it!!!! Looking forward to whatever you guys have in store for us next!
As someone in a small country with little resources this is basically my only resource for this kind of conten
Such a good series, proper good camerawork and an amazing display of Boris' skills
Fantastic climax to an enthralling series 🍻 cheers!
World class. That is the only way I can describe this series. Very well done.
I'm not the kind of guy that comments ever on videos but you did it justice please make more. I have learned more from your few videos than I have from reading 5 books please make more videos... fantastic job
Man this has been insane!!! Between it almost being movie like and the actual learning part I hope to see every video like this from here on out
Excellent lessons and amazing series! We’ve learned how to be the hunter, now teach us how to survive being the hunted! An escape and evasion course would be perfect after this series.
It's like a movie in many ways.Very well directed. The intro with the song and sumarise scenes ,even the the title of the episode is perfect. The plot twist is hillarious and states that this show is still an exercise.Boris beyond showing his craft also guides to some books for those interested.Great ptoduction! well done!
This series, short though it may be, was absolutely phenomenal. The story telling, photography, editing, everything was just teriffic. Well done
Thank you for sharing this fascinating world with us, the professionalism, discipline, grit, tenacity, never yielding attitude and the will to triumph is a true testament to the warriors and protectors that you are and a tribute to all who put themselves in harm's way to protect the rest of us. Thank you, much respect.
Leaving this here for new and previous viewers alike:
The first song being played in the intro is "Last Goodbye - Eric Kinny · Danica Dora (Cashmeer cover)"
The second song being played once the team makes contact with their quarry is "Beer truck" by Wes Cook Band
The third song being played as Boris is back in Africa is "Between Two Worlds". The only version of this I could find that sounded remotely similar was posted by a channel called "African Music Drums Collection". If anyone finds a version like the one in this video, please reply with it.
The fourth and final song being played at the end is called "Wild Is Life" by Daniel Deuschle
An excellent series on tracking and I really enjoyed it! Thanks Boris for passing on your skill, knowledge, insight, wisdom and for your very humble words at the end. Well done!
Friggin brilliant! Only fell over this series this morning and watched all 5. I had to laugh at the ending and hadn't read any of the comments through the previous 5 videos. Brilliant way to end it! Certainly well done to all involved . So very well filmed, presentation was excellent, information provided was direct, to the point with little to distract.
Wonderful Series. It reminds me of some of the classes that I had to take in the military. In the issues that are going on today it is valuable lessons. Very good series.
Absolutely the best series I've ever watched on tracking!
AS an LEO, we often have man-hunts. Having said that, I have never had the time to sketch footprints. That would be extremely time consuming. If we needed to visually document, we simply take a few quick photos. I'm not bashing these techniques at all, but rather simply wondering why not take a quick photo and stay in the hunt. It seems to me that you are allowing the individuals more time to evade or come in contact with other people who may then be put in harms way. Of course, we set up a perimeter and try to keep them in a specific geographical area. Maybe in this scenario, you don't have the man-power. Regardless, most all of the techniques shown are pretty valid. Good job.
Good question mate. I would definitely take pictures as well, and if it's LE, you need forensics in there as well. The reason for drawing is that I find it's a great way to study the track. Regardless of skill level, you need to make sure that impression is imprinted in your mind. Go too fast too soon, and you find you lose the track and are not able to re-establish. It also allows me to highlight those areas that show the identifying characteristics of the tread pattern I'm following for quick reference. Lastly, it helps me if I find only partials The drawing helps me to add detail as I find more further down the track, without having to flick through a set of photos on a camera or phone.
Retired U.S. Army Abn / 75th Ranger / Pathfinder and instructor for JOTC Panama and Belize .
Correct on sketching in this day and age of good quality cell phone photos .
Another option to consider is a professional UV light for detecting urine and blood . A prior video shows a cigarette butt being looked at , but not retrieved and collected in a ziplock bag . I'm talking DNA and collecting takes just a few seconds . ATB

@@borisvos1971 golly you're you're good. I mean I'm really impressed that was a really good reply. The feller that taught me talk taught the famous Tom Brown jr. About the same time that he was teaching Tom and my grand pa Joe an Arapahoe Tracker and Cherokee shamen and Stalking Wolf's best friend. I really don't like modern technology and so I really appreciated your answer to this fella's comment ... And I must admit that I wouldn't have thought of such a good answer. And you just you taught me something new.I've never really liked the way that the white man learns things...and though I've been raised in the white man world I've tried to have learned some of his ways and adopted some. When it came to taking notes and all of that stuff it just left me cold. in my martial arts are there are quite a few people that keep journals and take notes and make a little drawings and I completely reject that kind of thing but in this case that's really true everything you said was right spot on so now I guess I'll be taking a little scribble pad along with me dang your hide. Thank you Boris for teaching an old dog SOG a new trick. 😁
Wow. Just Wow. This series was incredible, packed full of great information and presented in cinematic quality (and all done in three days of shooting!). I'm totally hooked. Just spent 5 hours non-stop watching this series and the CQB series from UF Pro. Can't wait to watch more, but first, some sleep! Very well done. Thanks to Boris for this series and all you do in Africa and to UF Pro for bringing it to us in such great form. Cheers!

Excellent review of skills I've enjoyed using my whole life. Love this series. We need more Boris. Fantastic production boys!
Just watched all 5 in the series - all I can say is an exceptional BZ to you and the entire team, in front of the cameras and behind.
