Thank you so much for coming. Dylan is a wonderful kid who has so much potential. We really appreciated you coming and looking, when nobody else would. We still are not getting much law enforcement help, and we are searching alone. Good people like you make the world go round, so thank you. Sincerely Dylan’s aunt.

I hope your family is able to find him alive abs well I’m not the type to pray so I can’t offer that . As the days pass if you still have no answers look twords the restricted area law abiding people wouldn’t trespass on that land but a criminal who needs to hide something or do life in jail wouldn’t think twice about doing so in the middle of the night when the moon provides just enough lite to do so . And the restricted area keeps the searchers from being able to find anything

Can you find a reputable douser, someone who has successfully doused on a map and found missing people before now? They might use a pendulum over a large map, then when they detect at an area they get a larger map of that area, and so on, until they pin point a place to search.

I am an investigator in the private sector that specialised in missing persons and cybercrime. During my time investigating I conducted a lot of research into methods for finding missing persons. IR cameras have been used to search for recently deceased bodies. Even though the body will cool when the person is deceased, the decomposition process will show on IR cameras. Particularly because of insect and bacterial activity. I know that you have done quite a few missing persons searches. If you don't already have them, IR thermal cameras could be a valuable tool in your investigations.

      Keep searching. Keep searching.
      You guys can do it.
      This is my thought-
Get those drug users to talk. Get the cops to do their job (something is fishy about them)..(are some of them corrupt and running drugs????)
See where the drug users hang out on the mountains and in the valley. See where each of those cops were on that day he went missing. Look for birds circling if they are eating him.
If there was some way to see if any of the cops or people that live there made any big purchases that didn’t have a lot of money would show they are bad.
My 2¢... there are too many drug users for such a small place. A cop has to be in the drug distribution chain some how and is storing them up there somewhere. The users are watching the area and are getting paid in drugs. There is no money for drug users to buy anything in a super small town so they have to be getting supplied without buying anything.
I’ll bet that poor kid knew about it and they offer him for not going along with whatever the criminals were doing.
And the grandfathers “friend” and those other two people knew about it.
No agency calls of a search that quick unless they were aware of what was going on.
      Keep searching. Keep searching.

crowd source the search online. get a 4k camera, strap it to the bottom on the heli pointed towards the ground and then do a grid sweep. Then put that entire footage on RUclips for millions of people to comb it frame by frame, start a subreddit for people to submit interesting areas and then go back to the areas that has the most upvotes on the subreddit. would be fast, cheap, and effective.

    • @bevansamuels6129

Also, The family said they were waiting to get info on not only a time line of his truck movements, but maybe if this is possible, the mileage readings. If this ends up a "recovery" effort, knowing the maximum miles the truck was driven in total can narrow down the radiius search distance immensely! Blessings & prayers to all loved ones

There is a service called Planet that provides daily satellite photos. By overlaying images from different days in Photoshop with one set to Difference mix, you can easily discover changes from one day to the next. The resolution wouldn't be enough for tire tracts on a path, but would find a wider area that has been disturbed such as if a tractor has been working in a confined area. The resolution is about 12 feet. Enough to see a vehicle has moved, a tree is cut down, etc.

There should be hundreds of searchers out there looking but it looks like there is hardly anyone there. It really should not matter whether you are on private land or government land when a person goes missing all resources should be utilized like in the missing 411 cases. What brought Dylan's story to my attention was that only his boots were found and I thought it was another missing 411 case. This breaks my heart to hear a young guy trying to live an honest life disappearing. As a young man looking at buying farmland in rural America myself, this is definitely my biggest fear. Some weirdos rolling up on my spots outnumbering me and catching me off guard while I’m sleeping or in the middle of a project. I pray they find him for the sake of his family. Maybe they should offer a cash reward for intel that leads to the arrest of the criminal(s) who hurt him, cash always loosens the lips of a crack head, someone’s gotta know something, just gotta find a way to motivate someone to come forward.

I own a piece of property in Cherry Creek Nevada about an hour and a half southwest of Lucin. Don't overlook the fact that the people out in that area are used to driving long distances. The chances of encountering law enforcement out there is very low. So I wouldn't doubt at all if whoever did something to Dylan put him in a vehicle and drive him somewhere off road possibly an hour or more from where he was living. There are so many mines and caves out there. He could be anywhere . The seedy people out there all know each other. Somebody knows exactly where Dylan is. The reward is probably heavy on someone's mind and hopefully it will convince someone to come forward. The best bet is to stay on top of persons of interest. Look very closely at the original person of interest. Get out in foot and start talking to everyone that knows him or any other persons of interest. I bet anything there are rumors swirling around that town and many people at this point know where Dylan is. Keep talking to the people in Montello. Someone will eventually crack. Those people out there are a different breed and don't have much else to do than gossip. Be relentless and interrogate the hell out of them. Someone will slip up or crack. Whoever did something to Dylan is probably proud of what they did and is probably bragging to intimate others in their circle. There's a lot of meth users out there. And they tend to become delusional in the way that they think.

It makes me really said that you say “good Americans still exist”. This isn’t the exception, it’s just that we are so heavily exposed to such negativity that now we all view each other as distrustful or not good. When in reality, something bad happens, and I bet most people in your community would come together. I’ve seen it time and time again. I live Florida, and I lean more towards liberal opinions (while also being terribly disappointed in the Democratic Party) and political contention here is really bad. You see people driving around with “Fuck Biden” flags or seeing people get road rage over seeing someone with a trump sticker. Two people at stop lights screaming at each other over politics isn’t uncommon at all. Hell..you see people arguing over the stupidest shit. But when shit goes down, when there’s a hurricane and we all have to rely on each other… it’s beautiful. I was shocked to see neighbors who hate each other with a passion, scurrying out during the eye of the storm to go check on each other. People going out of their way to go check on houses of strangers who were stuck in shelters or other parts of Florida. There are ALWAYS “free truck to use” or “free labor to help rebuild” or “free shop vac to use” type posts on the community page, a page that is every other time of the year filled with ignorance and arguments. I truly believe most Americans are good people, we are just currently in a climate where it’s constantly being shoveled down our thoughts that we are all different (in a bad way), and that we are all bad or the enemy or distrustful. It’s not true..

I grew up in Wendover and had a lot of friends that lived out in Montello. My guess is even squatters if they've been there for any length of time have been to the 1 and only bar in Montello. If it's someone
" local" in the sense to Montello then someone knows more... I am really surprised that the Nevada side law enforcement isn't doing more to help! The picture posted of the man doesn't look familiar to me..

I live in the Mojave desert about 2700 ft. elevation. For those of you that have not been in the Mojave desert and say to follow the clues, is one thing to do of course but to try and find a body hidden in this American desert, makes a needle find in a haystack seem easy. This land is hard it has extreme heat and it freezes too. People open-carry for a reason. The range desert is creepy at night, no lights and in the wind, you can't hear over the howl of it and Imo would be easy to flank someone....I always try and stay out of those situations.

I've been following this story since East Idaho News' first interview with Candice. Both of Dylan's parents are so incredible. Thank you for supporting the family in this dark time. I cannot begin to fathom what they are going through. I've found this video wanting to know more about the case but also wanting to stick with people who actually worked with the family, rather than all the conspiracy theories going on. I come from a place where there are just trees everywhere, so to see this area from overhead is rather astounding to me. It feels eerie, but then, anyplace without trees feels 'off' to me. It hurts he was doing what he loved on the land he loved and yet something terrible has been done. Thank you again for your efforts and support of the family.
