    AR glasses is perfect for 3D content watching. Much better than 3D glasses with DLP projector in terms of color, contrast and brightness. Plus there's no crosstalk issue at all as you get 2 independent display for L/R eyes.

    I have been looking tons of videos and no one mentioned that how big is the screen when putting the light shield on because 215” screen only possible viewing from 20 feet away or something. So how the distance works with the light shields on.

    • @TheMeekMingeMaster
      @TheMeekMingeMaster 5 месяцев назад

      this is why theres a difference between listening and understanding, the display size is equal to that of watching a 100 inch screen from 8 feet away, and from the POV of your eyes it covers a 215'' tv panels worth of viewspace. in your eyes its like a 215''. which is about the same size a 100'' tv would appear at 8 feet, about 215'' of your viewing space. the plastic (i assume) shell with 0 technology on it does in fact NOT affect the technology of the base device. its like adding a case to a phone and asking if it charges your phone quicker. just straight up not in any way a possibility of the device(shield)

    This is literally the future of EVERYTHING in the home theater space. This concept of AR glasses is going to likely replace about 80% of all TV sales over the next five years. You think this are good now? Wait until they have had three to five years of improvement and revisions. This AR tech is going to be an absolute GAME CHAGER - in a way that VR only ever dreamed of being!

      @@michaelbeckerman7532 What makes you think they will even let us watch 4K, or even decent bit rate 1080p on these things? It’s a mobile device after all, and millions of smartphones have copyright restriction in place. Certain makes of phone won’t let you watch full HD Netflix for example. Devices need level 1 Widevine to handle 1080p and beyond.

    Dont get sucked into the hype by paid sponsorships. - I have the xreal air, and even with preescription inserts the image quality is blurry at the edges and rather dissapointing. Android support is very limited, so dont expect it to work unless you have a samsung.

      all true, chromatic aberrations at the edges are somewhat visible but for me, the immersion for $500 makes up the difference. I have a 110" ultra short throw laser thrown on the wall but that is almost $2K so you can obviously do better for a price.

    I'm so tired of these b******* reviews. 15 minutes after opening these up they suck they're not fully immersive by any means like looking down a hallway to a TV and trust me it doesn't look that big. RCA came out with immersive glasses 25 years ago for the PS1 and cuz you couldn't see no borders it made you think you could turn your head that was immersive it seems like we're moving backwards this crap looks like I'm stuck with these for now if I were you I'd just wait for something that is truly immersive

It's basically AR glasses for movies/streaming no more no less.
