@@thewanderingponderer 53 years ago, where does time fly ? School dinners were served in the back of St Peter’s hall behind the stage. Sports days at the back of Mr Rapleys cottage. Mr Rapleys cane 😱 even remember my first teacher Mrs Veryard.

These are lovely paintings. Its great that you should champion his work. Not only that but that you are recording the culture and history of one small place. War is tragic and Jack's death just before the end of the war exemplifies this. Yes, such a waste of talent.
