Sometimes less is more. Not many have the balls on a studio album to say this is just gonna be me and my guitar, no other instruments, no back up singers, just me. Hank did it twice, he did it on The New South album 2 years before this on on a Gordon Lightfoot cover called Looking at the Rain. And you have to remember these albums are albums made while Hank was still trying to establish his type of music instead of his daddy's. But it's this type of stuff that brought the younger audience and made Hank the ICON. I mean he had Alabama as his opening act in 1982 and 1983. Ala-fricking-bama, possibly the greatest band in country music history was his opening act.
I'm on my way back from that appointment I told you about today but I'm going to respond properly when I get home cuz I feel really stupid I had no idea that there was no band and neither did Greg we didn't even notice. I talked to my buddy LOSTHATE, the comment under you and he said he pictured him playing the guitar but he didn't really even think about they're not being a band either I met him through the warning he's a great guy channel member. and he listened to Hank so that's a beautiful thing. Country is definitely not his cup of tea now I urge you to listen to the warning if you like hair metal I'm going to send you their version of Metallica Enter the Sandman that's how they got famous they covered it when they were kids and it went viral
