One of the worst boss fights I’ve ever played
Such a dumb boss fight, terribly designed.

Agreed, i'm all for the dodging to get up close but why does he have an undodgable attack that we have to be at the edges to avoid? Terrible and annoying.
Not to mention a 1 hit ko grab if your at 300 hp only.
Tom Lancaster is it though? I am pretty sure I have managed a real dodge on one occasion with the body slash, I am almost sure the time dilation occurred. But yeah I just retreat to the corners. The whole fight was garbage. I'm with OP.
Whoever designed this fight and calibrated the difficulty levels is a damn prick. And needs to climb down the "dark souls" tree. Games must be enjoyable even as a challenge to be played, not frustrating.
I found out the best way to dodge his hits is to lock on to him...stay in your force hollow form to avoid being sucked into his mouth...also throwing your fire boomerang when he's spitting to get him to stop. And NEVER stop dashing lol

How can the boomerang be on fire if you're in force hollow mode? And I still get sucked just the same

My disappointment? The most difficult boss fight and apparently the whole game. Is about this one fucking boss. Fuck this games
People keep crying about after years you only have to switch weapons to the rock ability(purple) so it won't pull you to his mouth you only have to keep your distance other than that you don't even have spam dodge after you know this (it works underwater as well). The boss fight becomes a fucking joke even in the hardest difficulty after you know that very simple mechanic. Just switch weapons.
Wait so tell me exactly what your strategy is....fr not even being a smart ass. Does staying in force hollow actually make you too heavy for suckage?? Does this work in form 1 (above water)?
@mr.nuna916 bro you came 1 year later looking for answers lmao. Yes it works in the water part too. If you use that purple weapon it makes you heavy. So you should switch to that weapon whenever he does the pull thingies and of course keep the distance that's all you don't even have to press anything if you have that in your hand. After the animation is done just wack him with whatever weapon you want.

what a stupidly long fight. I'm fightin this guy, and now i just don,'t want to waste such an amount of time.
I can't believe I beat him. Just stayed in front of the bastard. Then dodged him well. Only used 2 healing shards.
This boss fight was easy once I knew what to do but was very tedious and annoying most of the boss fight is spent running then fighting

I was like wtf I'm supposed to do in the second stage, I even bugged the game to try something but it was like nope you're getting warped to gluttony's mouth
Use FORCE HOLLOW! Lead the bombs to him slightly then don't move, he'll suck em. Seconds stage is much easier imo...
@@nothingyet120 I’ve been doing the boss fight for around 20 minutes in just the second stage and he has only sucked twice it’s so stupid
@@nothingyet120 ok I realised if you swim really close to him he starts to suck, that was actually really easily
So force hollow in the first stage too ??

Hate this one. I think its just upsetting how much HP it takes out of you, how difficult it is to time dodges, and how little damage you do to him. So frustrated, I was having so much fun with this game until this boss

Such a garbage Boss, boring, difficult and long. Piece of crap design, really.
The attack pattern of this boss is so random, it's bullshit. Your strategy doesn't work, not sure how you throw the spear at him either, my character won't do it.
