Whatever you say man, but I think it's impressive. 2 Will always be the best thanks to the massive budget and sheer inspiration, but 3 was a welcome addition also. You can bet I'll be pre-ordering the next two blindly as well.

You know I kinda feel bad for the boss here. Fury killed off an entire race because of Vulgrim. So she basically caused mass extinction.

When this guy's second phase came, he killed me instantly and I just had a smile on my face..... easily the best fight in the game and an absolute thrill on Apocalyptic.... so glad I picked that difficulty on my first playthrough

Darksiders 1 is the last game chronologically. I believe 3 is just before and during darksiders 2.
The way Fury talks of the stone people when she first enters the void would suggest she has never seen them. And whilst we were casually using them during the game, she made no mention of them. So I'm thinking where this DLC takes place is a sort of "city" perhaps where they chill for the most part.

The boss and I defeated each other at exactly the same time, so here I thought I missed a cutscene because I died. Luckily it counted and I got the achievement and armor anyway.
This fight feels amazing on Apocalyptic. Brought back feelings from when I fought Nameless King for the first time.
Did you beat him on Apocalyptic difficulty??? It's a fun fight, but he one shots me with his force wave (foot stomp that releases purple wave). I have tried everything to dodge it, but he gets me every time. Dude is the hardest boss on the game.
@@JP-hh3mt I beat this boss yesterday after trying for more than an hour, you just need to remember his attacks and animations and time your dodges + you can't dodge the purple wave, only way to survive is to jump over it, also don't just brainlessly hit the boss since you won't have time to jump in time when he casts the waves. Hope this helps, the abyssal armor is worth it.
@@Luqquash You are 100% correct. I also fought him yesterday. I was level 150 and I was fighting him on NG+4, Reckoning difficulty. I wanted to see if I could beat him without using havoc form. I DID beat him without using havoc form, but I had to burn 2 undying shards AND I had a Fortification shard equipped the whole time. Even WITH the Fortification shard (enhanced by Fortune), and with my Chaos Armor at +7, the purple wave killed me. Fortunately the Undying shard kicked in - but that wave is damn near impossible to avoid. I did jump over it twice using the Flame Hollow, but it also hit me twice. You have to get close to him to hit him, but if you're standing that close it's impossible to avoid the purple wave. The only good news is you can KIND of practice against the lesser bosses in the Void because their ground waves ALSO one shot you - they just use those attacks far less frequently.

The purple wave can be negated by saving your wrath mode. The moment he is about to stomp, if you realize that you won't make it in time just use it, you take no dmg for a small time.
I beat him few days ago, hardest boss i ever fought. Most of his attacks melt my health like nothing. Blue and Purple attack one shots.
Damn i wish this game was 60 fps on ps4. It looks like a completely different experience

@@brandoberserker2510 all MOA did as far as I can remember was write the story, and one of the members worked on one of or both of the first games. If DSIII felt different to you it's probably because of the combat mechanics more than anything, which would be partially because of game genre mechanics changing over time, but more so because it was designed to be punishing. If you switch from the default to classic mode for combat in the gameplay settings you'll see how much of a difference changing a small mechanic will make (in this case it's mostly animation lag).

@@the_dropbear4392 I appreciate that they wanted to do something other than "hit, dodge, counter, repeat" but it was a somewhat buggy encounter for me:
- His inhalation move didn't actually start pulling me towards him till my 4th or 5th try
- I had a few invisible acid puddles
- Since he's hangs slightly above the floor, my counterattacks weren't reliably connecting with his hitbox.

She and the others have done far worse then this, in the past. The Nephilim murdered whole realms and caused many extinctions. As for Death, he has no right to speak as it was his idea to kill the Ravaiim in order to create the Grand Abominations, weapons of mass destruction.

@@ericx6969 The Ravaiim genocide is mentioned in the "Darksiders: The Abomination Vault" novel and was very significant event. It is also made clear in both novel and the series that the reason why the four pledged allegiance to the Council was because they were tired of the massive destruction, they and their race were causing on the universe. The Nephilim were a race of conquerers, ending many races of Old Ones in their conquest.

This clip reminds me of one of the things I felt this game did so poorly in comparison with the other two; wrath abilities. In the first game, your wrath gauge was split into parts, allowing you to use your abilities more than once in a short time. Darksiders 2 took it a level further and made it so that each casting drained so much wrath, allowing you to use abilities as you needed without needing a full bar.
In this game, you have one bar, and upgrading it simply makes it longer, which only really benefits those abilities that function until the bar is depleted, but even then, you have to refill the bar completely between uses. This severely limited the use of wrath abilities in comparison with other games, and I can't help but wonder why they made this choice.

Darksider is a good game , intead of buying dark soul , bloodborne or sekiro , I think I prefer grab all three darksider games for my own collection , it's a shame we still cannot buy all four episodes at once .

Let me tell you i have played all the Dark Souls games and Sekiro,but this guy on Apocalyptic was one of the hardest and simultaneously the best experiences I had in a game ever. It is also an excellent final boss for the game since the true final boss/sin sucks.

i defeated the final boss easily and im lvl 47. I have 552 HP

Depends on which difficulty you are in. I'm on reckoning, lvl65. One mistake and it's all done. Ionos one shots you with arcane hits. Physical hits, maybe 2. Haven't defeated him tho. Because silly me always makes a mistake whenever he's on 1/4 hp.

I think they're using the Chaos Bringer's Armor that you can get from The Crucible, which gives you 40% damage reduction and 20% physical damage...

I'm kind of wondering what difficulty this is one or alternatively, how much points in health this build has. Because this boss takes off about half of my health with every attack just on normal difficulty.

I liked them all they all have a different feel to them DS1 was amazing but felt Zelda-esque, DS2 felt a little more linear and this was mix the 2 and add GOW meets Darksouls.

How do I get to that boss battle? I beaten the game but I did not find this one.
Is part of the DLC Keepers of the void....you must first complete the 4 void áreas(1 per each void form you unlocked). Once you complete the four sections(you must speack with Vulgrim each time you complete)...in the center of the 4 void entrantes Will appear a portal. That portal sends you to the boss área.

This guy got glitched in place and i killed him while he just stood there! He was stuck. So weird! I got lucky asl. All the techincal issues is crazy and this worked in my favor ! Lol

I was the same gettin 2 popped ... so I just used 4 havoc shards and smashed him that way.. make sure you have increased havoc duration.. hole this helps
Cheap trick balance the health steal enhancement and use fire weapons. I used 1 fortification and all my respites except 1. The fire damage keeps leech going Soo spamming triangle and wrath shot when he did his purple stomp .
So ....why doesn't Fury just kill Vulgrim and take the armor then? Am I the only one lost to that logic or what?

You know what sucks... I'm playing through this game right now and I can't get this cutscene after beating the void. Vulgrim doesn't even mention the void after beating Ionos. I thought it was weird if there really wasn't a cut scene so I searched and here it is... It's glitched on my game and doesn't come up. I'm so disappointed.

Lasty kassandra technically has out lived Kratos since she was in the modern world, but creators of God of war said Kratos would make it to the modern time meaning Kratos is freaking ageless don't know about Atreus and if they do make a God of war in the modern time world Kratos will he fight God, lucifer, the anti christ, or jesus because then he and fury who is one of the horsemen may fight or aid him.

health: lvl 28
Strength: lvl 7
arcane: lvl 21
barbs + 9 , chains +10 . (i mainly do arcane counters with fire hollow)
enchantments havent been to neutral yet, but like 3-4 of them already hit +3 ish.
am i getting 1-2 shotted because i lack a certain item/armor/enchantment at my level? Did i need more health?
or is it the difficulty level literally making me die in 1-2 hits?
i was you level 54 like you it's impossible to beat it on difficult .you need level 100 at least i think to fight with this boss and to have the best armor from vulgrim ,or try lower level and no single mistake during the fight , i reached the boss then continued the main game and in the end i did new game + and in new game + the DLCs are locked i don't want to play all from the beginning

So... this is how long the DLC was? Good lord, we waited so long for a mere how much was it? Was it even 5 hours of gameplay? I like Darksiders but they lack one thing. Giving us MORE Darksiders dammit.
Budget. The second darsiders is considered and is the best for being packed with content, that goes for their DLCs. BUT. That was the reason that caused the Studio to go bankrupt, they overspent. Not even the sales of Darksiders 2, the best game in the franchise, could save them.

But yeah, 3 is weak. Genesis however is looking like the real deal.

Also, after basically 10 years i understand them wanting to play 100% safe with Darksiders 3, there was no guarantee that the franchise would still make enough sales. But it did, fortunatly. The devs confirmed they will continue the series

@@awesomesauce5974 it is. The devs confirmed that Darksiders 3 sold enough to make profit and to justify a sequel, they even said it made more money than they expected, so they probably have more trust that even today the Darksiders name can bring fans after 10 years and a bankrupcy

@@glezard212 oh dang sorry to hear that. I got it all as a bundle during the Summer Sale and I was fairly satisfied. The platforming and puzzles were pretty standard, combat was a little meh but the final boss and the Abyssal armor made up for it, imo.
Plus the new weapons add some variety and give you 4 more slots for passive enhancements, and there's the 2 new weapon-specific enhancements for the whip and Salvation.
The DLC could've been bigger and more varied, but Gunfire is a small studio to begin with and I can't imagine the entire team is still working on content for this game. So overall while i'm not impressed, i'm also not disappointed.

1. when you get them they feel the same moveset as their orginal counterparts. Making them completely obsolete if you already have a stronger weapon that does the same moveset.
2. Just because you have different passives on the same weapons doesn't mean you get both ie putting angelic stasis and the other rune that enhances edge of scorn will not give you both enhancements at the same time.
3. Boss move sets are very predictable making boss battles a. Thing of placing said boss on said side of the room and knowing when to attack.
Good job, but your Fury is weak. What level are you? My numbers are health 90, strength 172, and I think 45 arcane. Plus with Fafnir my first whip hits for almost 1200 and ends close to 2000.

1st 5 sec of combat and i can clearly say you are not skilled at all, is this minnimum difficulty? I bough game 3 days ago in on this boss on apocalyptic and he oneshot me with force shockwave and with normal aa he drop my hp to 20% :)

Because that would require the best Horsemen again voiced by Michael Wincott, a budget of $55M alongside Jesper Kyd's perfect score, and a shit ton of inspiration and motivation from developers. Sadly, all of those combined in one package is an unprecedented event that has only ever happened once. The result was the flawless masterpiece called Darksiders II.

I don't have opinion with Darksiders 3 Graphic but once compared to god of war 4, it somehow feed animated, hope darksiders 4 they do more details. Action games now is much more details and really bring out the character.

Sony can't be bothered making a decent fucking product. My PC isn't anything special and it's nearly six years old, yet still it runs this game far smoother than the Pro does.
