And Fury became the character we all never expected, that is character development at its finest
From #STRONGFEMALECHARACTER with a fragile ego who talks down to everyone, is shortsighted, violently temperamental and refuses to give anyone even the slightest bit of respect to a strong female character who recognizes her faults, takes advice from others, stops and thinks when she needs to, and maintains enough of her ferocious temper, fighting skills and refusal to be bullshitted even as she tempers these things with newfound wisdom and maturity.
Darksiders 3, I salute you: Fury was exquisitely written.
Is all of the horsemen dead
No, all of em come to earth in the end ds1 when war breaks the seventh seal so they are alive or will be resurrected but death died in the end of ds2, fury is in exile with humans and strife we do not know yet
first
It's a real shame narrative stories like what Darksiders as journeyed down do not get the attention they deserve.
That ending in DS1 where War claims he won't be alone, that was legendary.
They're not mainstream and dramatic enough. A shame. I'll gladly support each and every game though.
I totally agree. Darksiders series is so underrated. I wish it could get more attention. This series is my most favorite.
Этчлр
fuck yes and did you know that the voice actor behind war is the same for Illidan stormrage in world of warcraft. It's Liam O'Brien!!
This series is super underrated that people back then actually lost hope for a third and fourth game featuring the rest of the Horsemen, because we thought back then THQ won't be putting this series as one of their main priorities (especially since it went bankrupt back then)
I love how the references made in the ending about Abaddon and Corruption as upcoming problems when we both know what will happen to them eventually
Did you get the true ending with the lord of hollows and Abraxis? I skipped without realizing it. They should have made that part mandatory to the storyline because that was a crucial part. Yes its only slightly different but a major point to the ending.
I love how all these games interweave amongst one another and it's becoming more and more clear Lucifer is the puppet master behind it all(corruption). Fans of the series will know that in the future of Darksiders 3, Death resurrects humanity instead of the Nephilim...which was supposed to be Lucifer's army. I just hope the developers stay true to the original where we are headed towards a showdown between heaven/hell/The Council vs The Horseman.
When you speak about a showdown, i expect something more like the Dark Prince/The Council/All kind of corrupted forces vs The Horsemen / the remainig angels led by Uriel / Samael and his army (if he has one) / and maybe some makers with Ulthane. It would make sense for me : I remember reading somewhere that Samael was at some point the direct rival of the Dark Prince in Hell, being almost as strong as him (after all he can controll time), he just didn't expect the Dark Prince to corrupt Abaddon, one of the most powerful angel if not the most. Uriel obviously feel betrayed, hate Hell and the one corrupting her mentor. The only one where we don't know the exact role in all of this and is really hard to predict is Vulgrim.
tamlym I totally agree. I see a "resetting" of sorts by the Horsemen of the Universe where all corrupted(heaven, hell, the council, Lucifer) are wiped off the board. Humanity will rise and perhaps Samel and Uriel will take over their respective kingdoms.
@@tamlym I'm pretty sure Lucifer is Vulgrim. I know, I know, that sounds weird, but I have good reason.
Well really only two reasons: He eats endless amounts of souls, and is wherever he wants to be without even any fear of the creatures near him, including aggressive Horsemen (Fury).
If Strife can disguise himself, Lucifer can as well for sure. What better way to spy, what better way to acquire strength, than through being a merchant dealing in literal souls?
I want Strife game next directly taking from his scene in d3, then we can continue from when all 4 horseman descended after war broke the seal.
@@TheStraightestWhitest We'll, doesn't work 'cause now, we know Samael and Vulgrim known relatively well each others.
That ending violin is just perfect.
Any idea what is the name of that violin song?
Ikr, it give me a goosebumps.
I’m actually really excited to see where they go with Darksiders 4. *Strife* has the Best Design & I really hope we get to play as him Next Game!
Lol Strife looks like an Edgy School-shooter . War/Death design are best what this games could offer
Gonna be that guy and say I love all the designs of the horsemen :)
@@monowhite7989 I concur with that last bit. I do not agree with that first bit. So what does a school shooter look like? Like an epic Horseman of the Apocalypse with ripped powerful arms, silver skin, a strong slender and tall body, with a cool fucking Warframe-ish mask, and two different godlike repeating ammo-generating guns with individual names?
If so, can I be a school shooter?
@@TheStraightestWhitest 100% cringe
@@awsomeman93 That's kinda the point. His comment was cringe, I just emphasized on it.
Welp now we wait for Darksiders 4 where we get to see what's Strife has been doing all this time between the 3 games and hopefully get the finale of the series.
Nah finale will be darksider 5 where we will be able play as all 4 horsemen
@@muratkahraman8743 We can only hope that happens. I'm going for the safe bet but it would be awesome if we got 2 more games.
@@muratkahraman8743 if that happens they need to allow co-op
or maybe we get thrown for a loop and we play a human or a angel for the 5th that helps the horsemen
He spent the entire three games losing his guns and trying to find them
Whaaaaaaaaaaat?STRIFE WAS HERE ALL THIS TIME?
PLOT TWISTED. MIND BLOWN
Uh yeah dont remember the bread crumb trail he left for his brothers. He was in all 3 games so far in some form.
Like when he left both of his guns for his brothers, one on Earth with Ulthane for War and the other in the makers home forgeland for Death.
Logan Whitney I was actually about to comment on that. It explains why both of his guns had ended up in War and Death's hands. Something happened to him in between this game and 2, and he either left his guns in the hands of the Makers where they eventually gave said guns to his brothers, or this was his last stand until he is revived by the seventh seal, and his guns were probably taken as a tragic keepsake. The second option would also explain why Ulthane was working on the gun he had in Darksiders 1: it was probably damaged very badly, and Ulthane had just gotten around to repairing it when he was helping out War.
Peyton Mccrary Thanks and I agree with the one with Ulthane fixing it and maybe same with the other one in forgeland
“BLASPHEMY”
“Truth”
So badass
21:30 Darksiders 4 Strife?! ;)
Well we got him in Genesis and he was pretty damn cool son of a bastard
Makes sense that strife will be next.
Here’s hoping strife still gets his solo game and then we get a game with all of them during the end war, possibly with co op????
I know why Strife's pistols were in the first two game
He changed to Melee
Ngọc Tỷ Nguyễn
Maybe he had spares but who knows ?
Or he was dead at the time War and Death acquired the weapons.
@@armandorollo3605 Makes sense. Given that all horsemen gets revived at the end of Darksiders 2 (and 1), he definitely died and came back. The true question is, how did he (and Fury) died ?
@@iwanttobelieveit : Maybe Strife dies in the last stand while covering Fury's and the humans escape. I put my money in that Fury is not dead but instead protecting/training/enhacing the humans to prepare them for war.
@@iwanttobelieveit they don't have to die. the seal summons the riders no matter if they are dead or not.
Man.. The plot twist in every darksiders game is perfect
It is so nice to see this mighty Charred Council being not divine at all. Also they nicely filled all story gaps with Strife so in the end only his story remains. And in the end, when they all re-unite Strife will get his Guns back, Death will be reborn as the 7th seal breaks, War got his powers back and Fury will return with an army full of elite human warriors to bring an end to the apocalypse on earth.
Maybe they will even bring an end to the Council and the leaders of Hell and Heaven and of course... there is an unfinished business with Samael.
I doubt that Samael will make any more apperance as an enemy, he seems to be enjoying as a spectator, or might as well assisting the four
@@sernegon3191 are you sure about that? The way Vulgrim speaks about Samael I would guess that he wants to see Lucifer dead so he can take his seat and since we are about to end both sides this would include him as well.
@@NorthstriderGaming for how much ive seen Samael and his motives i can guess only: Samael is an opportunist, a survivor, he know that the four will be the winners. Maybe Samael will settle with the king of hell title after Lucifer bites it and i doubt that he wants to go another round with Death plus the other 3.
@@sernegon3191 He's also travelled in time before, and whilst I might be three years late (sorry), you are right about Samael being a survivor. I'd see it more as he's neutral chaos. As a demon who lusts for more then power, but knowledge and other aspects, I doubt he'd want to see the end of humanity.
He's really just that guy on the sideline meddling with shit and pissing people off. Just an asshole, but not an evil asshole.
Wtfff! Strifeee! Damn this is so exciting to see for the next series!
Imagine trying to protect the humans only to find out one of the was strife
Darksiders 2 and 3 (and im sure 4 will be no different) just continue to make the ending of the fisrt game even more badass. "NO, not alone."
Lucifer is awesome he plan everything without having to do anything himself lol.
We need a continuation of this ending. Strife’s story should begin while battling the Destroyer’s forces
Envy's voice actor seems to be having a blast this whole time!
I just beat it and I am so annoyed there is no new game plus...
It is something like "New game+"
I just finished the game, I have my armour and weapons upgraded to the same level with which I finished the game, same armour, I just don't have the hollow forms because I must get them from the Lord od Hollows.
What is Stride already knew of the council's corruption before War was accused of his crimes. And that in Strife's game we follow him where he learns about the council betrayal and the corruption, because in the beginning of Fury's game the said that Strife was gaven power to use time or contorl and maybe with that time power he saw the future in some form and making his siblings were in the right place.
I believe, strife was sent on another task by the council, but in the process, he chooses to disguise himself as human to learn more about them and why they are feared by cosmic powers. He then leaves breadcrumbs for his fellow horsemen, and in the latest installment, he in some way teaches fury a lesson through her journey that humans are worthy of their protection.
I was right! the charred council is behind to all of this!
rolando esteves bruh have you played the first game. It’s pretty obvious the council betrayed them
rolando esteves i mean i never played the first version but it was obvious cause come on how can you trust them...
@@xxan84 you make me feel special lol
You know what, this series is underrated. I love the fact that Strife - the one who should be responsible for the conflict, discord, disagreement, and bitterness is the one who's able to talk about Hope and the one who's able to bind Hope to humanity.
"So in other words... you have lived."
"Good then. You are finally alive. And with life, there is always hope."
I've always fond of Strife's character from the very beginning, from comics to Genesis. Imagine being someone who has no path in life, simply being a killer before even taking the mantle of the Horsemen and being responsible for the slaughter of his kin. Just like any other human being, he was able to ponder his existence and all of the events that happened, regardless of sides.
War represent the unjust and imbalanced yet he seeks for justice, honor in the name of the Balance.
Death is self-explained, the end. But in the end, he raised life from dead.
Fury is blind with rage, ignorance. However, through her journey on Earth, she found peace, insightfulness.
You are mixing death with strife.
@8:52 Background tracks feels like God of war cutscenes
Maybe that is how War and Death got Strife's pistols in their respective games. Think about it, Ulthane gave War one pistol and Death got the other from another Maker in the Forge Lands (the Maker's home realm). This may lead to the idea that Strife possibly died helping humanity (hence whey Samaeul says "sometimes, the hero DIES in the end" to both War and Death, and even says "Ask your brother" to the later, though he may have not been referring to War).
Though he may die protecting humanity, he will come back as the Seventh seal has been broken.
The Fourth Game will likely show Strife's story and perhaps they may do a Fifth game where we play as ALL FOUR HORSEMEN (maybe an online multiplayer option, or you can cycle through each Horsemen). Death will have resurrected humanity, War shattered the Seventh Seal and uncovered the Council's schemes, and Fury has learned full-scale of the Council's trechary, and we have seen glimpses of Strife's empathetic feelings towards humans. So the fifth game may likely be the four Horsemen guarding and training humanity in the coming war with Heaven, Hell, and the Chared Council.
I get it. Green with envy lol
Im sure that they make Darksiders 4 and in Darksiders 4 we be play Strife.
Everybody knows that
Question is will we get the 4 co-op game in the end war
Of course it is
He is last horseman we didnt play
Thats a no brainer this pretty much confirms that a Darksiders 4 is already in the works
You are so inteligent.
*ooof* The cinematics are cringe worthy , personaly i find darksiders 2 to be the best one overall .
Darksiders 4 confirmed!
How she "stab" fiinished Envy with her chain was imho the only baddas scene in the game..sadly:( ds2 still best
HELL YEAH
The game is amazing
Darksiders 3 is good but darksiders 2 is held as the best, hopefully 4 would try to get into that level
I mean I'm so psyched we're getting another darksiders game so soon after 3 (didn't need to wait 5 years lol) sadly it looks like it takes place long before the main series and after seeing this ending it just gets u hyped to start right on the next game
So that's how Death and War got his guns
The question is how did one of Strife's gun appear on Forge Land if Strife is on Earth.
@@2012Starfall2 my guess is the Mercy pistol got damaged during this fight and Strife left it with Ulthane for safe keeping, he probably got sent to the Forge Lands by the makers and left the Redemption pistol
@@kurzor0007 that is very plausible
That's not the full ending. Need to complete the Lord of Hollows quest via defeating Abraxis to get the full ending
That should have been fucking mandatory just like the other bosses. That was a crucial part, and I didn't do it. I went straight to Pride since I thought that's where the icon was leading me after beating Wrath.
@@axx012 I soo agree. I had to go through a second time just to see this. Pretty lame.
Soo the council is corrupt? Im gonna side with envy for that
There's finally a new game plus Darksiders 3 and Darksiders Genesis playing as strife and war
I mean come on after showing us strife at the end and after Genesis coming out it just make me want Darksiders 4 to come out even sooner I mean every horseman got their own game but since Strife appeared in genesis they may make 4 the final game with all 4 horsemen in it and if it is I wouldn't mind it being as long as 2 was so long as they don't focus it so much on just 2 locations because it reminded me of Star Ocean 3 all over again
Envys mask look like death's mask
yes, because lazy devs
Actually, she only mimics those whom she envy most. You can see that she even has Death's Harvester.
@@davidtran1812 She has all weapons of the horsemen, death mask and scythie war-like blade, strife guns. She doesn't have anything out of fury because she is considered the weakest so she doesn't pick anything up, maybe attitude?
@@Noxiefy She also has a hood like war
She does have a big sword like War, Deaths' mask and Scythe, aswell as Strifes Pistols. She might appear like that because Fury somehow envys her brothers.

Strife!!! What the heeellllllll :O :')))))
I hope strife will get his own game
Wait, you kill Lord of the Hollow?
I have just finished the game but my ending is slightly different. When the council attacked fury whit the fire they noticed the amulet i got from the lord of hollows and they asked me where did i get it and to give it to them to which Fury reply that since they want it so desperatly it's something that can kill them. And at the end Lucifer and Lilith dialogue is a little different too. I assume they are more then 1 ending.
yes, that because u have speared lord of Hollow's life, I did the same! if u have killed him u'll watch that ending in the video above and u'll never notice about the amulet! Its not like two endings rather than just witnessing a hidden secret!
They should have made your ending mandatory and not optional. I skipped it when I went straight for the Sin Pride, and didn't realize.
I'm going to go on an assumption that Haven had a larger population of humans than shown here. Or else Strife, the Makers and Fury combined have done a lousy job.
nobody expects strife
Well i had a feeling the human that was speaking to fury isn't human because in some of his dialog he mentioned humans on their own while he didn't say "we" some there was hints but yeah i didn't think it was him in the end
As frustrating as this game was, and as stupid as it could be sometimes, I ultimately enjoyed it, I wish it was more refined but the story was on par with the others and hopefully we get a Darksiders 4. If all goes well we should get 2 more games - 4 and 5.
4 I understand because of Strife, but why a 5th?
@@AkiraStrix94 A team up and climax

Question: Is that Lucifer talking to Lilith?
Yes
Yes!
It's pretty obvious it is dude
So he was waiting till the seventh seal is broken.
@@blaze_gaming443 shit I thought it was a chick with a deep manly voice boy I was I wrong lol
Too bad the Corruption gets nipped in the bud by Death. Love how each leader underestimates the Horsemen. History always shows that ends badly. Shame on you Lucifer (maybe if he wasn't so damn evil about his plan it'd be less likely to backfire).
Seriously who else was not surprised Jones was Strife? I already knew it was him early on just by the way he talked.
John Case Well I got it spoiled for me but I would have never seen it coming. That’s because I wasn’t invested in the cutscenes like I was in the first two games. The voice acting in 3 isn’t that good compared to the other games. The voice acting gets worse every game with the best being in the first game and even that game had odd pacing in the cutscenes at times.
The voice acting in Darksiders 3 seems like a Ben 10 episode
@@jonathanm9986 I personally don't have a issue with the voice acting in this game, but with the actual lines themselves. Something about them feel odd. Replayed DS1 for the nostalgia and man I really missed the quality in the dialogue script that game had (among various other things).
Fury I thought at first she was hot headed and impatient to say the least but especially towards the end I have great respect for her
I'm sure that's what THQ Nordic wanted of fury since in the first gameplay she was impatient and hot headed but as we see fought the seven deadly sins they obviously showed her sins. (This is gonna be out of order)
Wrath (or anger): showed much hate fury had in her after losing her horse who she loved.
Greed: showed her how much she wanted the glory and everything she desire
Lust: pretty shows how much Fury wanted to become the leader of the four horsemen which the illusion does show before her fight with lust.
Sloth: showed how lazy she had become
Pride: showed fury that her pride is what gotten away from her because she was loyal to the council and wanted to prove them that she can be a better leader.
Envy: (this part I'm not gonna remember well since I haven't played the game in awhile so forgive me if this would be incorrect) showed how fury was jealous of her brother Death for being the leader while also sharing a room with him (which she said to her watcher).
So before confronting the real envy she admitted to her brother strife (who was human) that she was lazy and how her rage and pride blinded her actions.
So while yeah fury may be mixed but she does face her sins and understand the true motivates of the council who betrayed the horsemen
Did Envy just slap Fury’s ass at 13:21?
The voice at the end said something completely different when i finished the game! Something about Fury having some powers that she's still not aware of yet!
3:08 That scream is terrifying to hear, although it does seem like justice in a way. Makes you wonder how the other sins felt when they were absorbed into that amulet.
There are some things I don't understand. Why didn't Envy kill Fury/take her powers when she had the chance. And how did she get those weapons of the Horsemen? Why didn't Fury team up with her to destroy the Charred Council once and for all?
Envy didn’t kill fury when she had the chance because she doesn’t stand a chance against fury without the powers of her siblings. That’s why she has fury basically going on a fetch quest for her. If you pay attention to the game their are two instances where envy’s cover was almost blown. Lust knew the watcher was envy and she died surprised that envy was able to fool fury. Another instance is when fury talks to abbraxis. Abbraxis briefly talks to envy as a way to tell her that he knew. Therefore for your first question she did wait Until she had the chance which was when fury defeated pride. That’s also fits her character description. Envy. She envies the power others have because she herself does not have it.
The weapons that envy wields are replicas if the horsemen weapons. They are not the actual horsemens weapons. They also do not have the same stats. They are weaker than those weapons. The reason why she uses those weapons in combination with each other along with the power of the other sins is because again she envies the powers of others and wants nothing more than to be like others, and even more powerful than them. She wants to be on top.
I believe the reason why she did not team up with envy is because envy is inherently evil. She’s no better than the council. None of the sins are. You would just destroy one evil which will be replaced with another. Therefore fury did what she had to do.
My question about this game is how was fury able to use the hollows in the final boss fight if we saw her powers get sucked by envy? I always found this weird and maybe a plot hole. It would have been cool to maybe start out the final boss without the hollows but then as you progress through the phases of the final boss you gain them back one by one Until you have them all again and defeat envy once and for all
@@jonathanm9986 maybe because the hollow power are not belong to fury but the lord hollows....envy only can suck fury own power or easy to said fury envy that the reason why envy form and weapon are looking like the other horsemen.
Akira Hisyam Gamingz Yes, but we never see the consequences of this in the final boss fight. In the final boss fight we have everything. Including things that are not the hollows and instead belong to fury.
Game felt kind of unfinished in some places compared to the previous 2 games.
Well she is Envy, and it gives her great pleasure when she is finally above the ones she envied. She is savoring every moment of it. She had to act like a servant to Fury all that time as Watcher. That's why she doesn't straigth kill Fury. That's why she is sucking Fury's powers to hurt her,but never actually finishes the job. That's why Fury still has all her powers in final fight.
@@jonathanm9986Sorry for the late reply (I didn't get notified of your comment) but that's an excellent explanation. I have forgotten the story so I don't remember the last part you are talking about.
Strife send one of his gun to war and other one to death.... Now that make sence 🤘🤘
War is still the best Horsemen in my opinion
I think death is the best, he is the strongest but i enjoyed fury and war a lot as well
So i guess part 4 will be between 3 and 1, so Strife could lose his pistols at the end.
I'm sure 4 will take place right after 3 while (I'm guessing Death is still out trying to find crowfather for answers) darksiders 2 is still going on
My only issue is that death and War tower over humans...yet they’re seen as her height which is just weird, like they forgot to make them their actual size
I wonder if we're ever going to find out the identity of the one that has been pulling the strings behind the scenes all this time...Envy's and Abbadon's "benefactor".
Lilith has been pulling the strings by orders of Lucifer.
Imagine if the Hunter was in this game.
With how strife is going to look,im guessing that he'll gonna have a katana as a secondary weapon
@Pypet Domain is this a line from darksiders 1 ?
@Pypet Domain ohhh I knew it was familiar. Love samurai jack
Hmm....there's another ending where Lucifer states that the traitor, Lord of Hollows, wasn't supposed to speak and War wasn't supposed to go to Earth, but he will sit back and watch the show; Samael said the same thing from DS2 after losing to Death.
Andt still noo lucifer
Hopefully after a Strife game of him effectively doing what has to be done during the initial invasion and laying the board, 5 will be something interesting. Obviously we all want the Humanity led Horseman/Samael/Uriel/Makers .V.S. Council/Hell and everyone else, but extreme entities like the Horseman leading weak things like Humans sound boring. They will have to do everything them selves like always regardless.
Hopefully Darksiders 3 is more like DMC 3 if they want some difficulty for the game.... Copying Dark souls sucks deeply and its not done well for this game. DMC 3 is about as hard as Dark souls to many, but its much better fighting system that it has....
I don't like how Fury killed envy, usually the horsemen ends his battle with a badass scene with havoc form or something. But this was.... Bad lol
Just finished diablo 3 and watched diablo 4 trailer. Then I realized there was one other game I liked. So here I am watching this.. lol

This is going to sound a little off topic, but it relates to the Darksiders series, what is the Abomination Vault all about? I've been wondering about it and I might get it.
Caleb Gouchenour The horsmen were tasked with finding the grand abominations which are weapons of great power that were forged by the nephilim and scattered across the realms. It’s a great book and you should definitely pick up if you love the franchise and want to know more about the lore. The book takes place after the horsmen slaughtered the nephilim (which is actually there own race).
Wait so it was THE CONCIL THIS HOLE TIME !!!!!! I know the story but I did not expect this
Well if you remember from the first darksiders heaven was trying to fight hell and try to leave humanity out of this war but unfortunately it did which we could assume the council put the war on earth.
They also throw war in there as an escape goat to put all the blame on him for "defile the law" so while that was going on Death is probably unaware of the council sending war as an escape goat while fury found out from their own words.
Strife didn't know till fury said it which would put the puzzles in place of his fears. Not sure how long strife has been with the makers and whats left of humanity but we can assume we was sent either with war (but was transported somewhere else in the world) or not long after to witness the chaos
