used to live in san diego area and miss it terribly!!!! :( of course seaworld and the zoo! we used to have breakfast with Shamu! :) la jolla was our favorite place on the cliffs watching the sea lions and walking the seawall! watching the all the hangliders up the beach was awesome too! we're coming back for a visit for sure! thanks for sharing! :)

Ian Dalton hey Ian, there are some nice hotels off the i8 freeway on hotel circle. most of them do have shuttles for their guests to take you to attractions and if you get the room in advanced they may pick you up from the airport..
