Just got a set a few weeks ago, already feel an improvement to my game and I haven’t even gotten super comfortable with them yet
Thats brilliant to read! Keep me posted with how you get on with using them!
Just tried these in the shop. Haven’t hit in about 5 months and I was consistently hitting 198 with the 7. Good clubs for an even better price this year
Yes for sure, they're good clubs, how's your golf going?
Wow, distance was unreal! Nice video.
Thank you!
Sold my Callaway AI Smokes and bought the new Rogue Max! What a difference! Love em!
That’s brilliant to read Douglas!
How’s the rest of your game?
I just ordered the Max OS with 1.25” extended stiff steel shafts, and a 3 degree up adjustment on lie angle. I can’t wait to get these out on the course!
Wow! They sound brilliant - I bet! When you take them out onto the course let me know how you get on 😎👊
How do you like them. Callaway said I need 1.5” longer and 3* up. 6’3 here
My biggest with the past rogue X 7i so far has been 180yd. It will be interesting to see what I get with the ST max when I get that set soon.
Yes - compare them both and if you can… use the same shaft! Let me know what you decide! 😎
Great swing and review. Only thing is that 7i is really a 5i like you probably play with those aggressive lofts. Would love to get some more feedback on the feel and foreignness
They were very forgiving - off centred strikes only went 5-10 yards shorter from the distances I was hitting the club. You’re correct about the lofts - but it’s still the first club I’ve hit over 150mph ball speed
Thank you!
just ordered some with the nippon 105 modus. half way through my 50's and i wanna try to keep up with the step kid lol
Haha sounds like you’ve made the right decision, how’s your golf going?
@@harryshawgolf they should be getting delivered today :)
How've the clubs been for you?
@@harryshawgolf Irons have been amazing. Just need to work on my drivers lol. Thanks for checking back
No problem Scott, pleased the golf is going well, feel free to get in touch using the link on my homepage if you're looking for further assistance on your golf game.
Length is a bit deceiving. Not sure what the loft is on your Muzuno but loft on Rogue ST Max 7i is 27.5… but can’t argue with that ball speed. Wow.
The loft on my 7 iron is 36 degrees.
Hence why there is a big difference in distance, the only trouble with these is that when you strike one out the centre they go much further.
Just got my set and ya they fast but forgiving as well. Still not use the the weight since I went to metal shafts not composite
Yes I know what you mean, the swing weight certainly feels different if you try the club with a graphite then steel shaft. How is your golf at the moment?
@@harryshawgolf just played today and my score could've been better but I was hitting great shots that I was even impressed with. Lot of darts to the green from 200 out. Of course I had a few fades
@@christiansalas2840 That's great to hear, what did you end up shooting?
@@harryshawgolf89. Which is a lot better than my usual 95 to 100 progress
They really are game improvement irons and I could tell by the very few rounds that I had with them that that is very correct
For someone that is looking to add a 4 iron to his current Rogue X set, would you recommend the ST MAX iron?
Is the Rogue X the bladed/ pro version of the set? If so, I would recommend the original ST iron, only because it's a big jump form pro-like irons to the big cavity back. If you have the original ST irons, then yes the MAX is a good option.
Pretty sure it’s not a Blade or I wouldn’t be able to hit them. I’m about a 15 handicap.
Ah, I must be getting mixed up with another Callaway iron. How's your golf going?
Hey guys,
I purchased a set of these (MAX OS) in April/2023 and I'm hitting them well but they sound clicky even though I believe I am hitting them pure. Is that normal for them to sound clicky?
One of my golf mate said to me last year that new clubs will make that clicky sound for a moment. However, I played with them from April 2023 through Mid-November 2023 and then for the first time in 2024 on 2-20-2024 and they still sound clicky; should I be concerned or does it sound like I may not be striking them right?
I'm a 15 HDCP
Thank you for replying.
I am a
Hi thanks for the comment. I would say that you might want to get them checked out unless this is happening with every single iron i the set, if it's a couple then worth checking. Because if its the same with each club then this must be how they've been built/ designed.
@@harryshawgolf
Thank you - It's EVERY club.
I've asked a friend and they said "Callaways are loud and designed that way. As long as you are hitting them straight, you should be good."
That's reassuring for you, pleased to read!
Just because they say it’s their fastest ever irons , it doesn’t mean they are faster than previous models , Remember they are saying it’s their fastest iron and not saying that they are faster. Be careful of the marketing blurb ,
Callaway says that these are THEIR fastest-ever irons (in terms of ball speed). With the results, I gathered in this video that's all I can go by.
220 yards with a 7i lol holy cow man that's long.
Cheers man 😎👊
Damn… the intro to this video. I though you were sitting in your toilet
Thank you! Hahah now that wouldn’t of been the best of sites! 🤣👍
