At last, someone testing at a swing speed pertinent to 60% or more of golfers. THANK YOU !

Brilliant to watch a review at swing speeds that are appropriate to players who are looking to buy them. Been on the fence with these for a while but I have decided these are the clubs for me. Thank you

Thank you! I greatly appreciate your analysis using an amateur swing speed. It made me more confident with my decision to choose the Max OS.

Finally a proper comparison of a steel and graphite shaft. Simple and easy to read. Awesome review 👏

I love that you did this test with the slow swing speed!!! Anyone of us looking into these game improvement clubs don't all swing that fast. Great test and thank you so much.

Great review. So relevant to the average golfer and totally down to earth. Look forward to more of the same.

I've just bought these clubs and was originally looking at a set of Paradym. I've been away from golf for about 15 years and the Rogue just felt confidence inspiring. I'm not sure why you don't have more subs as this is by far the most informative video on equipment taking into account the "human, we are not all 6 foot robots" aspect. I've subscribed and you should keep plugging away on RUclips.

Excellent review. I just turned 66 and am in the market for some new game improvement irons. I am pretty athletic for my age so my swing speed is still pretty good, but I still want the forgiveness these sort of clubs offer. I have the Rouge ST Max on my short list along with the Cleveland Launcher XL, Cleveland Launcher XL Halo and TaylorMade Stealth irons. I have no issue with clubs that have thicker soles and top lines but that said the Rogue is a decent looking club IMO. Nice to finally see a review geared toward golfers with slower swing speeds. Great Idea mate and much appreciated.

I am happy to say that I just pulled the trigger on a set of these max os irons 4-pw. Tested at a local store with a number of other clubs including the stealth irons which I really liked. Through testing I found that the Rogue st max os irons just felt so much more comfortable in feel and also results. I got about 5-10 yards more on these than stealth and they felt better. Anxious to get them out on the course when they come in. Graphite senoir 50 shafts. Gaining probably 30 yards per club from my cheap beginner set.

I just was fitted with the OS max with an avg of 137 per carry at 78mph. I’m a bigger guy (6’5”) so I went with 1.25” extensions with steel 95g shafts. I can’t wait for them to arrive and take them out to the course!

I have been doing a fitting session this morning, and I decided to buy them (steel, all regular but for a thicker grip, I'm 40 and into the 75mph swing). The funny thing is that I hadn't watched this test before but I can confirm all the feelings you described (lovely sound, forgiveness, easiness: they're definitely not "scary", they give you a sense of confidence) and my metric performances improved exactly as in your test compared to my older TaylorMade graphite irons. Definitely one of the best reviews I've seen so far: precise without being too nerdish, complete, talking about things that really make the daily life to bad golfers as me...!). Subscribed!

I was just fitted for the Callaway ST Max. Haven't hit them in anger yet as golf weather is still a couple of weeks away here in the NE US. Thanks for the demo, it was very instructive. Particularly that you slowed your swing to a more average 70ish MPH. When fitted I was swinging about 73 MPH. I'm 66 years old so that's right in my physical capabilities. Your video was the best I've seen and what I can expect at my playing level. Thanks again.

Great job nice info. I would like you to do one on thinner soul player club or tour club light headweights light overall club versus fat so light weight clubs I know Sergio Garcia puts 30 g weights in the butt of his irons and de Chambeau uses very heavy grips at the overall weight for the club for seniors and injured golfers we need a lighter club all the way around can you do a video on this

Or even the x in paradym
I use to play rogue x
    And love those too

Was the graphite shafted iron the Max OS or the Max OS Lite. If it was the Lite the Max OS Lite heads are 3 degrees weaker than the Max OS. That would account for the difference you saw. Just curious.

Would you recommend these irons as the best max game improvement irons out this year?

    • @wokingproshop
      @wokingproshop  2 года назад +2

Not at all, I think that sector is blessed with lots of great options. Will depend on how you like the club to look, sound, feel etc. They are all super forgiving.

Anyone know how to work out how high in yards the balls were going with this 7 iron. Thanks in advance

I don’t know how to do that but during my fitting my fitter was adamant that my 7i launch angle be 20 or over. As you can see the Max OS failed that test w the steel shaft but was successful w the graphite shaft.

What makes these better than last years model?

There are always small incremental improvements when new models are launched.
