    I just bought a set of these irons. I've been golfing for about 4 months and have improved greatly using my cheap starter set. I'm 60 and fit but I swing really slow. I tested these irons against others and they won out. I got them with a graphite senior shaft 50. They felt very good. I thought the stealth irons were the ones before testing but I was wrong. Can't wait to continue to get better using these irons. These should grow with me for many years I hope.

      Sounds great half you were able to test all the best irons on the market to make your final decision! Keep me posted with how you get on!

    Amazing hit performance, I’m a new golfer attempting to figure out not only my swing but when to apply whatever technique to whatever given situation and these clubs allow me to focus on all my other fundamentals instead of worrying about whether or not my shot will lift.

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  Год назад

      Yes these clubs will certainly help you create more lift on the ball and reduce aerodynamic drag to hit the golf ball higher and further - they’re also much easier to hit aren’t they?!

    Shopping for new irons and considering these. I have not hit any new clubs yet. Im currently playing with the Taylor Made RSI 2 irons but the heads keep separating from the steel shaft and i am constantly taking them down to the shop to have the head re-glued to the shaft when they separate slightly. I have a major problem with controlling my distance, I'm always going past the green. So these worry me slightly because of that

      @harryshawgolf  Год назад +1

      Yes, you will find with irons that have chunky heads to them are purely designed for distance and more height. For someone like your self who is worried about controlling distance, I would consider looking at the review I did on the Callaway Rogue ST Pro Irons - they're surprisingly forgiving for a blade!

      Thank you. I opted to go with the ping i525's 3-UW

    I’m currently a 16 handicap and I have the old callaway X20 irons I’m looking to upgrade to the max OS to get more distance with my irons and accuracy. I’ve been playing for 2 years and I’m not sure weather the max or the max OS will suite me best

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Adam, if you're keen to improve i would suggest sticking to the original OS irons, however, the OS max are much easier to hit and do go further in distance, but for more accuracy the OS would work better for you. How's your golf going?

  • @nealhamamura4263

    I think these irons are for higher handicap players with slower swing speeds. I think that may account for your way ward shots.

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  Год назад +1

      Yes it’s probably had for a few of them - would’ve been producing unwanted spin rate with these too. Some too low and too high - creating more inconsistency. What did you think of the video?

      @@harryshawgolf loved the video. It was one of the videos that helped me purchase the Rogue ST Max OS. I am a high handicapper with a slower swing speed. I tend to miss right so I liked the offset on these clubs. I know the club won’t fix my swing but it will improve my timing on closing the face.

    How much different between max and max os ? A little bit or huge
    I just bought max (my first iron) :(

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  Год назад

      Max OS Stands for oversize, so with an oversize head it’ll be more ball speed, so the distance would go slightly further.

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  Год назад

      I do think the max is a good iron to go for if your looking to improve and aim to hit more greens, max OS is more likely to roll out a lot further.

    Stealth Taylor made Iron or Callaways rogue ?

    • @harryshawgolf
      @harryshawgolf  Год назад

      I would try them both - looking for more distance then Callaway, accuracy probably the taylormade!

    • @Motivation4Life01

      I tried both of these in a fitting and I couldn’t get the Stealth to come off the club face high enough. The rogue were 25 yards longer and had more forgiveness for me.

      @@Motivation4Life01 I agree especially in more forgiveness.
