This is such a wonderful tutorial! I love how detailed your videos are and especially that you show yourself working the whole row sped up in between instructions. I could watch your videos all day! I’ve learned so much from you. Thank you, Robin!
Thank you Robin for such a great video I’ve never liked the ripple stitch but I absolutely love this pattern so you have started to change my mind thank you I absolutely love love love it great video
I am new here. I love your teaching style. You explain it in a certain way that does not over do it and yet get the information across. Thank you. I will be sticking around for a while.
This is great! You must have read my mind since I, too, was looking for a puff stitch ripple. Love ripples and love puffs so this is perfect. I ordered some yarn I think will be perfect and will begin this as soon as it arrives. Thank you so much.
I've tried puff stitch in the past and failed miserably. But I like your recommendation of going up a hook size and this ripple is beautiful so you're inspired me to try it again. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful! I’m a newer subscriber to your channel- I hold my yarn in my left hand the same way- it’s the only way that works for me. Thank you for this great blanket pattern!
You make the tutorials so easy to follow. Great work. Thank you so much. I just learned how to crochet a few months ago. I have made several hats and scarves for my family. Now on to tackle the big blanket project.😁
I pull too light or something but my puff stitch is the worst i do in crochet. Yours look easy breezy. Very lovely, i will work harder to learn it better. Thanks alot for your video.
Robin - you are causing me a LOT of trouble...every time I watch one of your videos, I want to drop what I am doing and start the new project you are presenting!! I can't do all of these.....
Oh my goodness Robin that is just beautiful and the colours remind me of sweets I had when I was younger ( much younger lol) tuti fruiti's 😘thank you for another gorgeous blanket 😊Amanda xx💕
Your vids are sooo Satisfaying♥and bring such a JOY♥ My daughter who has OCD finds your vids amazing and she doesnt even crochet!!! Bless YOU! For your time to make these vids for us... Big Hug from Kim from The Netherlands!
Hello Robin! I’m a beginner and I am enjoying watching your videos. I was wondering if you have any basic tutorial videos, for example, I would love to know how to hold my yarn the way you do. Do you have a tutorial on that? If not, can you make an ever so short one?
wow very nice,You teach very well ,the english sub title helps a lot.I think better practice separately first to get do to proper and then ablanket Thanks a ton
Wwhhhaaattttt This is ssooo cool. Omg I have too many projects I'm working on at the moment haha. I'm working on 3 Afghans at the same time. My heart throw is complete however my old man had me get some pink fleece to put on the back lol. So I havlve to hand sew that on haha. I'll have to send you a pic. Super pretty. Great job and god bless y'all
@@HookedbyRobin lol yea. I'm gonna use my darning needle and my pink yarn I used and pick a middle square and work outwards. But I think it'll be worth it lol
It is still a work in progress at the moment, however, I am estimating that I will need approximately 7 balls of the yarn? For my puff stitch in straight rows I used 5 balls so am estimating I'll need more for the ripple version :-) I'll have to find my tape measure to give you the width I went with (but its big haha!)
Some but not all! I wish I could claim credit for everything but I'm not that clever 😂 I tend to design things when I can't find what I'm picturing in my head (if that makes sense?)
I will do at some point - I'm struggling a bit to keep up with the written side of things at the moment but hopefully the video will keep you ticking over for now 😀 x
I don't think I mentioned it! 🤔 I'm not sure to be honest, I tend to wing it and eyeball the width - I may have written it down somewhere but I'd have to find my scribbles! Xx
I want to make a full size blanket with this puff stitch how much yarn do i need? Bernat Softee Baby Stripes 100% Acrylic Light #3 Yarn Cake 287 yards full size bed 4.5mm
Oh I just realised I didn't answer your question! My blanket is still a work in progress - my puff blanket which was worked in traditional rows used 5 balls of yarn so I am estimating I will need maybe 7 for the ripple version?
I came. I watched. I liked it. I subscribed. I abandoned my current project. I started a new project - a puff ripple stitch blanket 🤣
I have HATED puff stitch anything until NOW!! LOVE this soooo much!!! can't wait to start it!!
I love Ripple blankets. This is simply beautiful. Stay safe and healthy. Many Blessings to you and your family.

Awh, thank you! 😃🤗
Absolutely gorgeous! Can you tell me what size your blanket ended up and how many balls of yarn you used please?
It is still a work in progress at the moment, however, I am estimating that I will need approximately 7 balls of the yarn? For my puff stitch in straight rows I used 5 balls so am estimating I'll need more for the ripple version :-)
I'll have to find my tape measure to give you the width I went with (but its big haha!)
Hooked by Robin thanks
Mine is roughly 38 inches (96 / 97cm) wide :-)

Trying to make a poncho with this stitch but not sure how to make increases
Please add a written pattern for this on your blog.
I will do at some point - I'm struggling a bit to keep up with the written side of things at the moment but hopefully the video will keep you ticking over for now 😀 x
Gorgeous stitch and great video. Did I miss how many chains you did for your blanket?
I don't think I mentioned it! 🤔 I'm not sure to be honest, I tend to wing it and eyeball the width - I may have written it down somewhere but I'd have to find my scribbles! Xx
It's really early in the video, the pattern is 19 stitches and there is a plus 3 - she did 60 which is the pattern times 3 (57 stitches) lus 3
