Man that is awesome you got out and had some fun time. You and your buddy had a good day on the water. I know what you mean about catching those fish and got to thrown them back in. But at least you got it on camera you guys caught yourself a 28in. Good video buddy you take it easy.
Great day on the water! You two are fun to watch fishing and having a fantastic time. You sure know how to fish and which lures and equipment to use. I'm looking forward to the next video and how you cook up the fish. Take care. 🌞
@@TKOutdoors I have never salt water fished before. Our town is right on the Mississippi River. We cross the bridge and we are in Mississippi. We do have great water ways here. I work too much to fish right now.
@@TKOutdoors where do y’all put out, Keaton? I go to Hickory Mound and fish off the bank often. Know of any charter service that does this? Or would you be interested in doing it?
Some fishing was off Keaton and some off of Steinhatchee. I also go out of St marks too. Woodys charter out of Keaton would be the only local person I know of. I don't personally charter
@@TKOutdoors I’ve never been to Keaton. Rented a boat with the wife out of Steinhatchee once, but didn’t do any good. Will have to look up Woody’s some time. I appreciate the tip!
I have a question. On your Grouper... since all of the fish in the holder were still alive, why didn't you remove the 24" fish and keep the 28" one? Is that illegal? You can tell I am not a deep sea fisherlady. LOL
Not all fish in the box (especially the first 24 inch one) were healthy. The last thing I wanted to do was throw back a dead or dieing fish in order to keep one a little bigger.
@@TKOutdoors yeah I thought I'd always heard to takes longer up in your neck of the woods. But I'm guessing you've got no shortage of rock piles etc to fish.
The grouper rules are because of the male to female ratio. Has nothing to do with general population. 2 gag grouper per person per day is plenty of fish to take home plus there’s a lot of other bycatch that you can keep. Alls those fish you caught were females not one male. That’s a problem!!! In any other fish species you want to protect the females but not in the case of grouper. Great content as always. Hope to run into you around the Hatch one day!!
Great video!! Can’t beat a cool day on the boat, especially when you’re catching fish!
Amen!
My gosh what a great day of fishing wow!!!
We had a great time

Thank you! Take care
Very nice! I go out of St. Marks pretty often (live 10 minutes from ramp) but have family in Steinhatchee and wanna make it down there soon to fish!
I fish the same areas
What a day!!! That’s awesome man! Can’t wait to get back out there myself!
We had a great time!
Nice! Looks like yall had an awesome day! Congratulations!
We had an amazing time! Thanks
Well it’s about time you went fishing. I just did the same thing myself. Nice run of Redfish. It don’t get no fresher. Enjoy brother 🇺🇸
Thank you for watching
Great video, beautiful day! I love fishing!! Sad you had to throw that big boy back.
Oh it hurt so bad!
@@TKOutdoors I feel your pain! Lol.
Seeing another side of you! Love it!
Thank you for watching
Awesome catch
Thank you
They have been catching some awesome Reds here in Louisiana.
Been wearing them out here too, especially last month. They were schooling up thick. Now you can get in the creeks and catch them like crazy

Make some time for fishing!
What a great day fishing, you sure deserved a day off.
Thank you very much
Nice!!!
Seen that takedown. Nice!
Oh my. Well organized mess.
Now that was a good day of fishing---
Yes it was!
Great video! We're y'all trolling wrecks,reefs, edges, ???
Mainly ledges and random natural structure.
How deep of water was you fishing in for the gag grouper? Excellent to see you taking some time out to go fishing.
That day we stayed in the 25-30ft range
That's a great day on the water.
Yes it was!
nice job!!
Slayed them
Great day!
Fish stick for dinner 👍🏽
Baked parmesan crusted grouper thank you! 😉
Trifecta!!
I would have freed the 24 inch grouper and kept the 28... then kept trying to trade up in size.
If the 24 wasn't dead, that's exactly what I would have done.
Man, that’s awesome! I wish I could catch them like that when I went down there! Where did y’all go out to catch the groupers, and how far out?
We are up in the big bend section of the gulf coast. We went out about 9 miles. They are usually only this shallow during the cooler part of the year.

How deep was the water you trolled in? I've been wanting to do the same in the tampa area down by me
25-30ft range
@@TKOutdoors nice thats why I generally hit down here. Is that a long run up there? For me it's usually 4 miles or so
Yes, it's at least 9 miles here. We have a long shallow slope all the way to the middle grounds.
@@TKOutdoors yeah I thought I'd always heard to takes longer up in your neck of the woods. But I'm guessing you've got no shortage of rock piles etc to fish.
No exact opposite, mostly sand here, very little structure.
How are you liking those rods & reels?
Which ones, used a couple of different brands in this video.
Redfish runs four times and then you can bring them into boat
What’s the grouper limit?
Two per person and 24 inches minimum
Why don't you use a net?
Im hard headed and never bring it. They are bulky!

Where bouts were you fishing for the gags and at what depth, I am in the Crystal River area.
This is up in the Steinhatchee area around 25-30ft
