I give Bowie credit he comes out as a special guest and had to know he wasn’t gonna be the highlight of the performance and went out and did a good job.
Bowie and Gilmour....Man what a combo two titans in Rock. Both of them changed the direction of Rock and opened doors and windows to what could be...This never gets old
Bieber? that got no sense. Gilmour can be as good as god itself, but he's also old. you know it's like.... the life itself... he can die in any moment.
What a gentleman. Bowie was always the polite one and knew how to grow old gracefully. Something some of the artists of today seem to have forgotten how to.....not mentioning any names.....But his passing is putting back some decent rock in to the ears of the younger generation and hopefully that will be an inspiration to many more like him. Miss you so much Mr Starman, you never let me down. RIP
I've been listening to Floyd since 1969. Still get chills with this song all these years later... Never tire of a true masterpiece. Bowie was great and the 2nd lead guitar solo here is one of Gilmour's best public performances.
Bowie simply takes this song to another level completely. He blends beautifully with Gilmour and the band. I like how at the end Bowie is'nt in sight. THAT is sheer utter 'respect' which you dont see from a lot of people in showbiz.
I'm Completely Numb after this unbelievable arrangement of the song. David's solo leaves me Completely Numb as well. This is brilliant live performance.
Damn straight, glad David/producers gave him a tiny bit of spotlight. He's truly in the moment and enjoying it, probably reminiscing of his younger years. Keep on rocking out dude!
The level of respect on this stage is outstanding. I love Pink Floyd.....I love Bowie! It looks like Bowie feels humbled to be on stage with them. He should be.....they should be humbled too....and i'm sure they're honoured to have him with them during this show!
I never get tired of listening to this song, since the first time I heard it in 1988 at the age of 16, and this for me is one of the best versions thanks to the collaboration with Bowie.
RIP David Bowie This is so, so sad. But your music will live on forever. Thank you for bringing so much joy to so many countless people over the decades.
Jesus H Christ ..... Gilmer just slays that song on the strat. I can listen to that all night long. He has one of the most distinct guitar sounds ever. It cuts down to the bone and is almost hypnotic.
Anyone else get goosebumps? Both these men are rock legends, geniuses even. Comfortably Numb in 2D (2 David's) & then one of the best guitar licks of all times.
Amazing... Look how people, sitting down is spontaneously getting up and start to dance in their own beautifull way.... You simply can't sit still for this song. I've listened to this song a thousand times since I first heard this song at a Pink Floyd concert in 1987... This is one I never ever ever ever ever ever never ever ever ever ever ever get tired off... NEVER!!!!!
OMG just found this piece of buried treasure. I never knew that Bowie had sung on this with DG. Best cameo I've seen of one of the greatest songs ever. Bowie actually takes this beyond 10/10. Having seen this sung live a couple of times & knowing how mind blowing DG is live & PF, to have been there to witness this would have been something to remember for the rest of your life. Imagine seeing Bowie walk out on stage. One stage, two geniuses.
"There is no pain, you are receding..." I love how Bowie let's Gilmour sing that part of the song on his own he respects the work of other artists you'll be missed Bowie
This performance opens a door into another dimension that we can walk through. The best concert clip of the best concert ever filmed. Wish I had been there... I would never have come back.
My heroes, Bowie and Gilmour (and Richard Wright, of course) on stage together, performing one of my all-time favourite songs. Couldn't be more magical than this! RIP beautiful Bowie and Richard.
Davids relatively small part in this performance eclipses the rest of it. He was so good in whatever he did and his loss, I feel now is no less than when he passed in 2016. Thank you David for everything that you did.
Bowie the only one who could hold cred with the punk of iggy pop, yet be embraced by the prog rock fans of Floyd. Bowie bridged both genres who were in conflict of each other.
very few songs shake me like this one, Bowie or not. Gilmour's solo on this is ageless, a testament to the most wonderful music the 70s brought us, and he still did it with wonderful soul and enormous stile
There has always been something in this song that I've lwyas found to be so heart breaking, someone who has been belittled and betrayed all his life lossing all hope.
This is the best solo you've ever heard until the day you died, if you've ever thought another song was better, then you better know that Your're lying to your self
It seems this was his last ever performance in Britain. Nice that he shared his final stage with those who were worthy of his genius. That's for helping to rear me David. Xx
Un hommage à David Bowie, avec un David Gilmour toujours aussi excellent avec sa guitare . De grands groupes qui vieillissent mais qui laisseront pour longtemps leurs griffes musicales
Wonderful, emotional stuff .. an all time favorite Pink Floyd track with Bowie fantastic interpretation. I love collaborations and cover versions of great tracks so much. RIP David you pretty thing.
I cant watch this without almost crying its that good by far the best version of this song I've heard and I've heard it all over the place by David Gilmour and Rodger Waters. this was also my Dads favorite rendition of the song he loved that he was listening to as he passed away.< I wouldn't change that for anything he loved the song and he was at peace (perfect).
Bowie & Gilmour... they are both the best of all for me and this song, together, is just great ! Miss you, David. Hope to see you "on the other side"...
Graham Nash & David Bowie. A walk down memory lane. The respect between David Gilmour & David Bowie will travel into the next time that they meet again. RIP David.
Bowie was a true performer; the fact that he goes into the background when Gilmour sings shows how great he was.
His humility here is breathtaking
Once we all heard " Space Oddity" it was obvious he was way special.***
It really does, doesn't it? Both are legends.
Noticed that Bowie's move. Just a detail, but tells a lot indeed.
I give Bowie credit he comes out as a special guest and had to know he wasn’t gonna be the highlight of the performance and went out and did a good job.
Bowie and Gilmour....Man what a combo two titans in Rock. Both of them changed the direction of Rock and opened doors and windows to what could be...This never gets old
R.I.P Richard Wright and David Bowie.
+Erick Conde and soon will be gilmour's turn.
Nice try Bieber...
Bieber? that got no sense.
Gilmour can be as good as god itself, but he's also old. you know it's like.... the life itself... he can die in any moment.
and so can anyone
Bullshit Alan - and so can you
Possibly Bowie's last ever public performance in the UK. Amazing stuff. R.I.P Mr David Bowie. We miss you.
This was indeed David Bowies last ever live performance in the UK :(
That solo is godly.
His phrasing is bluesy and tasty beyond compare!! Perfect choice of notes!!.
And this is its best version
@@fernandoc.campos8842 ...Fernando. I believe you are right !! Even better than the live at Pompei? Would you agree. Intensity...
@@fernandoc.campos8842 Yes.

i wash born that yr 1969 but til my youger time i like a lot of peformer pink floyd neil young bedgees & more!
Bowie simply takes this song to another level completely. He blends beautifully with Gilmour and the band. I like how at the end Bowie is'nt in sight. THAT is sheer utter 'respect' which you dont see from a lot of people in showbiz.
So true. Both Davids are such obvious gentlemen during this performance, and always. I found it very touching.
I'm Completely Numb after this unbelievable arrangement of the song. David's solo leaves me Completely Numb as well. This is brilliant live performance.
The voice of David Gilmour is magnificient !!!!!!!!!!!!
Bowie is an absolute legend, so deserving of that title, may he rest in peace.
The perfect mashup of two extraordinary legends.
The guy dancing at 6:55 is fantastic!
GoodNaturedMischief Doctor who fan???
He kind of ruins the solo
That's me
Damn straight, glad David/producers gave him a tiny bit of spotlight. He's truly in the moment and enjoying it, probably reminiscing of his younger years. Keep on rocking out dude!
I always enjoyed his enthusiasm. Even when I watched the dvd version years ago.
The level of respect on this stage is outstanding. I love Pink Floyd.....I love Bowie! It looks like Bowie feels humbled to be on stage with them. He should be.....they should be humbled too....and i'm sure they're honoured to have him with them during this show!

Same with me
Because the meaning of the song is reflective of our ongoing life, always looking for a comfortably numb moment.
RIP David Bowie
This is so, so sad. But your music will live on forever. Thank you for bringing so much joy to so many countless people over the decades.
Well said my friend... very true.

Jesus H Christ ..... Gilmer just slays that song on the strat. I can listen to that all night long. He has one of the most distinct guitar sounds ever. It cuts down to the bone and is almost hypnotic.
Who is Gilmer?
Joe...thus is the best sound and performance of this i have heard...😎
One of saddest day in my life..I never knew a world without David Bowie...stop to take all my guys..peace
I feel like the soundtrack of my life has been taken from me #RIP
stephane DE SCHEPPER its ok, you can see him on sky news as a record insider, talking about DB's death
A masterpiece in Rock History. David took perfectly over the Spirit of this song.
Anyone else get goosebumps? Both these men are rock legends, geniuses even. Comfortably Numb in 2D (2 David's) & then one of the best guitar licks of all times.
That solo always leaves me with goosebumps and entirely speechless. Dave, you are a magnificent guitarist.
And this is the best version of that solo. Gilmour never repeats it, and on this day he was especially inspired.
I bet it just thrilled Bowie to perform with David Gilmour in this video. Just the right alienation tone that Bowie lived for
+Patti Fearon very good point!
Patti. You got it right .!***
David Bowie`s vocal gave this masterpiece so much fresh colors! Thanks to him, the performance has become everlasting, incomparable!

They would be part of god's band I think

To my mind, the best by far of any of the Comfortably Numb solos.
amazing.... bowie the gentleman to the end.... happy to be in the shadows... and add his amazing vox to the song....

Anything with David Gilmour is already awesome....add in Bowie...well, you are in interstellar overdrive lightning lava storm territory, my friends.
Such a sad loss, may you be well remembered, Mr. Bowie.
A roller coaster ride in the heaven of music
My ears are bleeding and instead of blood, liquid gold is coming out
"There is no pain, you are receding..." I love how Bowie let's Gilmour sing that part of the song on his own he respects the work of other artists you'll be missed Bowie
Greatness knows greatness & can only show 0 respect like no others can
Really sad day. Some time ago we lost Richard and now David. R.I.P. Mr Bowie. You and your music will be remembered.
RIP Rick and David. So much lost talent. Makes me feel so old. Nothing to compare these days musically. Truly a lost era.
The main redeeming feature of The Wall. Gilmour, as always, a great guitarist. David Bowie - perfect .
Davids relatively small part in this performance eclipses the rest of it. He was so good in whatever he did and his loss, I feel now is no less than when he passed in 2016. Thank you David for everything that you did.
This would have been a dream concert for me! RIP David Bowie. You are the best!
R.I.P. Bowie. And thank you so much.
gilmours voice still sounds great
His voice has always evoked such longing and nostalgia. For me, at least.
Oh yeah...and the Stratocaster never sounded better...just astounding. ***
Richard Wright the soul of a band and Bowie = Bliss on a thousand different levels... DG is a inspiration
Always glad to see Richard at the keyboards!! RIP Richard and David!
And Richard... Pink FLoyd member, supreme in the keyboard. Fkng amazing
Bowie the only one who could hold cred with the punk of iggy pop, yet be embraced by the prog rock fans of Floyd. Bowie bridged both genres who were in conflict of each other.
As did Eno and Roxy Music. I've noticed these are musicians often appreciated by both prog and punk fans.
WOW!!!Full Standing ovation for that rendition,,,,MORE THAN WELL DESERVED,,,,,R,I,P David Bowie and Rick Wright,,,God speed and be with you,,,,,amen..
Superb! RIP Mr. Bowie. You will be truly missed.
6:45 through 6:54 is one my favorite moments in time. Goose bumps no matter how many times I watch it..
R I P David and Richard....A part of my life, as, with all the others that shaped this majestic sound beginning in the golden years of the 60's..
There are So So many of us...just amazing...

Dance like nobody's watching! Gilmour is a genius.
Davids silhouette in the laser light at 2:29 is fantastic
It's so moving to watch this again.
David Bowies voice is a perfect match for this song. With Gilmor’s sense of timing it’s perfection.
One of my life's dream, one day, be on the same place as this legend, and hear is incomparably beautiful music.
PURE!!! Two great musicians.
48 Dislikes, WFT??? How can you not like that? Absolute blisstonia. The greatest human being ever to pick up a guitar. End Of Story!!!
The Brier prince 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻
prove me wrong dawg
Only and only David Bowie could sing this song like that and still nail it!! RIP David Bowie.....
I have been listening to this album since back in the 70's. It still sounds great. Amazing that a musical work could hold up all these years.
David and David ---- In a nice version of "Comfortably Numb"........ R.I.P - David Bowie
Absolutely amazing! What an awesome duett! David, I still miss you so much... Your voice will be forever in my heart
This is the best solo you've ever heard until the day you died, if you've ever thought another song was better, then you better know that Your're lying to your self
I just remember when i was a child, and my dad was listening to this song, so its in my blood...
It seems this was his last ever performance in Britain. Nice that he shared his final stage with those who were worthy of his genius. That's for helping to rear me David. Xx

This is why I love David Gilmour! Dude is underrated and one of the best rock guitarists ever.
This is amazing, one of the best renditions of a classic. Bowie adds more soul into the vocals, and Gilmour is just too awesome!
