@@natehills9388 I've had a passion for bikes for over 25 years, but it doesn't seem to be helping me ride stuff like you, Nate. I guess I'm just not passionate enough :-)
Came here to post the same thing. I've always watched POV of that line and thought "eh, that looks doable." Not after watching this vid. That perspective shows that there is more to those drops than just straightforward hucking, landing, then rolling away. You can see that some are multi-stage, so if you go just a little too fast, or a little too slow, you're going to get hung up, bucked, and off a cliff you go...:)
Can’t believe I missed this video somehow. Very happy I went back to check the video list and seen this! Amazing riding by both you guys. Awesome to watch. Cheers
Love all the mixing of the different views!! Glad to see the return of the backdoor camera!! Drone also a nice touch. Bad a$$ riding on that ridge line!!!!!
This is a place I have wanted to visit for a couple of years now. I will try this trail someday. Great video! The rear tire camera view was nice to see the height of the downhill drops.
Best RUclips video you have produced. Three cameras adds a ton and captures the difficulty of the terrain. Nice to get to see more of your riding in this format as well.
This ups the ante for all future trail videos, that was incredible. Hope you are able to do more of this style in the future, that combo of camera shots and riding style is amazing. My (and my 4&6 yr old sons) new favorite biking video.
That was crazy sketchy, especially dropping off of those ridges. Looked even more hair ball on here than on the Facebook clip. Loved the reverse camera and drone footage. You need to give James a raise, he looked great.
Hands down the best perspective of any of your videos that I've watched. Second IMO is 'Top of the World' in Whistler. The reverse angle of the 'follower' could be an instructional video on how to ride gnarly features. Keep it up!
great footage, showcase the trails on how gnarly they are by using right angles to highlight the features. Looking forward seeing more of this type of videos. Amazing work right there...
Iconic trail, I’ve seen about a half dozen edits of this trail, and yer’s is by far the best most creative with greatest perspective available. You’ve blown me away Nate, best edit of 2020 so far!!! Cheers Nate-dog n Pete!!!
The new POV really brings the audience to the ride. My hands and feet sweat twice as much now 😊. I will get there one of these days. Excellent videos, as always. Thanks.
Nice! James said our front range crew needs to make the trip out there. Looks sick. You’re really stepping up your content game. I appreciate extra drone footage.
love the different POVs and ages, what a hoot riding, and very happy only RAW sound without stupid mind control music (like other channels), keep it up great work, cheers V!
I've been in the automotive industry forever, and a saying a buddy taught me way back was "never skimp on dentistry or brakes". He wasn't talking about bikes but it fits here.
YES!!! Sick trail! Making me miss the trail!!! We're getting some serious snow here in CO. Guess I'll just have to go skiing... And I got like 60 miles in last weekend, so I'll stop complaining...
Nate Hills naw I actually don’t ski. Love me some fat biking tho in the winter and even ride them year round in conjunction with the MTBs. Not sure where you at in CO but Peaceful Valley and Rollins Pass are my go to’s for fatbike in winter
Dude thats rad you both cleaned Kong! Killer perspectives. Must have been terrifying rolling down on enduro bikes with half lids.I like it with the drone noise filtered out. Now just get a fuzzy for the wind noise lol
Some amazing camera work on this one. This is the same line (it's not published on trailforks or mtb project) that Matt Jones almost lost his bike over a cliff.
So filthy Nate! Maybe next time you can give some commentary on technique on those slow drops. A lot of push of the fork to keep the front end up? I think that was my biggest worry watching that. Thanks for the ride along. Great job to both of you!
No talking in my videos amigo. You can practice this sort of thing off of a curb. just go as slow as possible and pull back, keeping the nose up until the rear wheel comes off of the curb. The slower you go, the longer you need to hold that nose up.
Bro I’m late lol forgot yesterday was Friday lol. Bro you and James tearing it up in Utah land what a great trail I rate that 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️ have a great weekend
Dynamite!!! Job! Nate...That is Insane!!! Man!..You Ride those lines like nothing...Speechless!!..The Best of all your Videos...Should have been longer Brotha haha
You guys asked for it, so here you go. This is James' first run down King Kong. How did he do? It is rare that I get to be followed;)
Speechless, how did you guys get so good?

Great perspective on a very cool trail! I applaud your skills kind sir! Bravo.......
Brb, need to book another flight to Vegas to hit Kong again...
First vid from/of Kong that really shows how steep and gnarly it really is, the regular POV stuff just really doesn't do it justice.
The drone helps for sure.

Love the different camera perspectives: POV, backward, drone. Creates more depth to the experience. Bravo.
Such a great balance of the drone footage then cutting to the POV. Holy crap that was intense.
Thanks for the kind words as always :)
The drone footage and pov splice on those technical drops on Kong were 👌👌...what a great perspective
All the angles, haha.
gopro: flattens everything when going forward
also gopro: actually makes justice in showing elevation when facing backwards
.....and the Oscar for best damn mtb vid of the year goes Nate " follow cam" Hills!!!!
Okay, that was awesome! Great editing, love the new angles. That trail is crazy, great riding!
This is my favorite video of King Kong by far. The multiple angles work well to show each hit.
Damn, this video is off the charts ridiculous and probably your best yet. You and James are total studs!
Thanks Brad!
"JUST ROLL IT" :D :D
And we wonder why Ben Dekin has trust issues haha.
Angelo Molteni where on earth do you roll that?? It’s a drop you bellend! 😂
ahahahhahahahahahah that was on my mind all the time
Can’t believe I missed this video somehow. Very happy I went back to check the video list and seen this! Amazing riding by both you guys. Awesome to watch.

The different camera perspectives really show how gnarly this trail is!!!
Like the looking backward a lot. It really shows the terrane and elevation changes so well. It takes a lot of the GoPro effect out. Cool!
Love all the mixing of the different views!! Glad to see the return of the backdoor camera!! Drone also a nice touch. Bad a$$ riding on that ridge line!!!!!

One of your best videos ever, that trail, trail bikes, and the drone footage. I was nervous watching.
Thanks Calvin!

Oh good! My friends dragging me down some sketchy desert rock garden in about an hour. Thanks for getting me in the mood.
Enjoy!
You keep stepping up the bar in quality. Really liking the followed footage, gives a good perspective of how steep the trail is.
Follow cam, look-back cam, drone cam...bar=raised! The lower/upward angle of the look-back cam really puts the drops into perspective.
Absolutely killer video. The lead cam gets rid of a lot of the go pro effect. The drone. This video was top notch on a sick trail.
No bullshit, no unneeded footage, just badass riding. I love it.
Les blah blah blah, more send.
Best video of King Kong so far!!! Nice work guys!
Dude, this video is SICK!!! Best one you have made in my opinion. The footage is great!
That was crazy sketchy, especially dropping off of those ridges. Looked even more hair ball on here than on the Facebook clip.
Loved the reverse camera and drone footage. You need to give James a raise, he looked great.
James gets a raise!
Amazing production and SKILLS! The front view really adds a different element.

great footage, showcase the trails on how gnarly they are by using right angles to highlight the features. Looking forward seeing more of this type of videos. Amazing work right there...
More insanity. Sick camera angles. Fear inducing drops on repeat. Must feel mighty high when you finish that run.
The look on James' face at the bottom says sit all. Stoke and relief.
Nice video. I liked the 2 angles between the drone and POV. It gave good perspective on what you guys are actually riding 👍🏻
Riding Kong on trail bikes. That was awesome! Cleaned it no problem. Great video!
That’s some sick terrain with great riding! That’s a great perspective on how steep that trail is. Daaaayum!

Some of those shots are pretty mind blowing.
Brilliant riding and photography. Ben Deakin should watch this and see how it is done !

Wow!. That Darn Mosquito Following you all didn't distract at all! Epic Fellas! Keep'm comin!
You are definitely putting out the best content of any mtb creator right now. Those angles and the drone shots were ridiculous. Damn fine job!

Incredible episode!
Liking the drone. Liking the rear view camera. Liking the videos in general.
That was freaking amazing! Great work and much respect.
Glad you enjoyed it!
your video work just keeps more and more amazing. Love the direction your going
Wow, impressive flowy, of you both. Saw "pros" struggle on the Kong! Congrats and thank you
Kong is the real deal.
Nice touch synching audio! I think the looking back cam is SWEET too!
Thanks for noticing the details!
Some amazing camera work on this one. This is the same line (it's not published on trailforks or mtb project) that Matt Jones almost lost his bike over a cliff.
Great video shots and awesome ride bro. 🤟
Quality riding and footage, linked really well
