Using stickers on keys would mean you need a different keyboard for each app. The Stream Deck's keys are small displays that can change based on which app you are using or other criteria.
That's good to know. Yes pretty much with many subscriptions for hardware in the end you will pay the price. It's like Klarna or Affirm but you never actually own it. 😅
Absolutely. What I meant is that with the app it's more dependent on the app development a little control over a physical hardware built for the Stream Deck. 😁
So they also sell a Stream Deck with 32 buttons and they didn't bother to make an app for the iPad that has 32 virtual buttons? What a missed opportunity.
Can always just use the numpad as a free option too.
Put some stickers on them so you can easily distinguish the hot keys.
Yes exactly. I forgot to mention that. 😁 But yes it is a great alternative as well.

Thanks for your video!
Most likely going for the app now.
In Canada the subscription = 5 years to = cost of stream deck. So pay now or pay later.

That’s what I’m thinking
i didnt know the app was so iinexpensive im definetly goingn to try it out
I know right. I was so skeptical about the app that I bought the physical one. Now...I wish I would have given the app a try. 😆
Either way your depending on software.

No problem. 😊
I found that the connectivity is not very stable for the app. Any such problem for you?
Sometimes I have noticed a slight issue. Hasn't happened to me many times. 😊

iPad / iOS app now goes up to 64 buttons. Or 6 buttons for free.
@@quidambrujah Yes, I noticed that in an update a few weeks ago. I'm very happy about it. But I didn't know there was a 6-button free version. Thanks!
