Yes, Logitech bought loupedeck, so the support for a device from the direct competition will be iffy, also the loupedeck software is awful in it's current state and the device is always bricked and unusable. If you switch users in windows it breaks, if you restart the PC it breaks, just got a stream deck+, has way more plugins and it just works.
Like the advantages you explained, but they need different key versions. I use the 32 button version for even more flexibility. If they can out with one like that, I’d probably buy one just for what you’ve brought up. But until then I’ll say with Stream Deck. Thanx for the heads up with GPT4.

I believe you need Synapse if you want to control Razr specific products, like switching certain headset profiles on your Razr headset. I have this on my headset and switch profiles between games.
if you don't need a knob or a wheel, just get the mobile stream deck, and use your iPhone or unused phones. Im shook how useful it is for my normal productivity. I even used the unpaid version and it has tricks to make it more dynamic for a limited number of tiles. and Its WIRELESS!

Have an Elgato Stream deck Plus with dials and three Razer Stream Controllers. We like both of them and look forward to using them with AI. Get those sticky Auto Dash Cellphone Holders and use them with the Elgato. If they stop sticking, wash with water and let dry and they are like new. Have three on our car dash and they are about three years old and still like new. Super Review 👍 Had to SUBSCRIBE, was really an awesome video.
This thng simply not working properly. All 3 units I tried had problems with registering key presses. Keys just wobbles under ur finger to sides and corners and will register keypress only on firm pres in the middle. Too bad all this reviewers don't give fair feedback.
i like both but in my mind the best value option is " Arturia Minilab 3 " or similar (a midi controller) and use it with autohotkey or other software, not the same, more cheap, more buttons, more knobs... but more work to push good settings. (if i had the money i buy razer or elgato solutions, but i cant atm.)

As someone who has used one and not used one for my streaming it makes things so much easier than having to switch screens or mouse over to something, with this it's just the press of a button or two and what you were trying to do is done.
I dont think you even used the Stream Deck… many features that you credit to Razer, Stream Deck also has it, like the programme specific profiles that load automatically…
The razer will still have to prove itself in the long run. We say buttons, but really we're talking about screens here, and Elgato is reliable. Let's see how the razer screens hold over time, screen is not a simple technology
Simply from my use of the stream deck I am looking at switching to the Razer one. My current stream deck I have had issues with Locking up, not working properly, etc. and on top of that the Elgato Capture card I have is also not working great, sometimes it won't show up properly, other times the program just won't open and I have to restart my PC to get it to work. My personal experience with Elgato has been horrible, and I do not believe them capable of making good software. Have had no real hardware issues, but their software is ass.

Elgato ONLY for me... Razer has an OBNOXIOUS privacy policy, whenever you put Razer software on your computer, EVEN FOR JUST A KEYBOARD LED setting, they claim access to YOUR ENTIRE FILE SYSTEM, photos, videos, EVERYTHING. It says so right in the policy, it's beyond obnoxious. FOR A KEYBOARD? It's literally spyware. It makes me SO angry, because I love the color settings on the keyboards and the volume controls on the stream controller.

Just because you act like you know what you're talking about doesn't mean all other people are going to assume you do. Also, I highly doubt you've read the full TOS for both Elgato AND Razer for each product you've interacted with. I have and do, because it's work related I can't imagine a scenario where any other person who is just a regular customer can or would.

If people would do minimal research think for themselves instead of "mirror" what sounds like it makes sense, you'd realize you don't need access to personal photo CONTENT (just the file name) , email tracking and HISTORY AND CONTENT, and photo file EXIF AND CONTENT to run executable functions, which is what they are claiming access to. And to go a step even further, they REQUIRE this on even a simple keyboard LED software program. NONE of this is necessary for ANYTHING other than marketing and data collection. My whole point is that people don't realize there's a different between what they NEED to collect and what they DEMAND to collect. These machines are basically a BOOKMARK folder on a physical button. They're not running any processes on your computer, just book marking your actions.

WHY AUTO hot key when you can use SHELL to do it in the background with the arg -silent wow so extra... lets physiclly see it what if there is a temp system hang does the script wait for the window to pop up before it clicks.

I appreciate Razer being objectively a _better_ device. Admittedly - it's also 50% more expensive than Elgato.
