See, when I went vegetarian, then later vegan, I also dropped "sweetened things". I don't use any sweetener and in the occasional deserts we have (rare), we like to use (drum roll please) sugar. But, we might make two apple pies a year. So, it's dietetic non-issue for us. Thanks again for a great video!!!

I saw a recent study showing allulose to be more glycating of protein than fructose, which is five times more glycating than glucose. Since glycation contributes to protein damage and aging, would you avoid allulose as harmful for that reason? Look at the study entitled "Microwave glycation of soy protein isolate with rare sugar (D-allulose), fructose and glucose"

I've been using allulose for about 6 years now. I had horrible IBS stemming from ischemic colitis, and joint pains from who knows what, since I wasn't a soda drinker or really ever liked sugary foods and drinks .I don't use much, but it tastes great in lemonade, which I love having all year long. It helps with my digestive tract and I've not been on any meds in 5 1/2 years for digestive issues. I'm not saying allulose helped, but I'm not saying it's a coincidence either. I love it in my chicory coffee as well. It mellows it out a bit and enhances umani for me. My husband is type 1 diabetic so we do a whole food plant based high carb diet (I do keto version with nuts and other whole food plant fats, not oils) and I add allulose when recipes calls for dates or bananas to sweeten because it tastes like the unhealthy version when I add allulose 😁
We don't do sweets often, but for a treat on holidays or birthdays, it's a great substitute for dates and bananas. Dates and bananas just makes everything so heavy sometimes and no matter what you add, it tastes like dates and bananas 😂
Allulose and azuki beans makes a great fudge! One way to get some beans into picky eaters 😄😄😄
Just cook the beans and add some allulose and blend them up and refrigerate or freeze (It's delicious in the summer but add a bit of plant milk and stick it in a ice pop mold) for few hours. It's a great way to have beans when tired of curries and stews and soups on a hot day. My husband loves it.

Hi, Just reading this, so hope you’re doing well. I was diagnosed many years ago (1980’s), and actually went to see Dr. Larrian Gillespie, whom at that time was the only one I knew of that was addressing this. Long story, but I really responded to her advice - followed her diet plan and drank Evian water. High histamine foods was creating most of my issues. I can now say I’m symptom free. Keep searching and you’ll figure out what works best for you.

This morning was my 1st time using allulose & it had me running to the bathroom for hours with extreme stomach pain. I was fasting & used it in my morning coffee. I usually use Stevia. It was recommended for me to use allulose because I've been using much more Stevia lately & allulose isn't as sweet. Yea, not as sweet, so I couldn't taste it this morning mixed in my coffee. I got up to 7 tsp of allulose & non dairy creamer. Tasted off, so I added 1 tsp of Stevia. That made my thermos of coffee drinkable for my personal taste. Think I typically use 7tsp of Stevia in my coffee, which friends say is too much sweetness that's why I tried something else. Well, I'm going back to my 7tsp or less of Stevia and throwing the allulose away. My son used it as well this morning at the same time as me & his stomach has been upset, not having severe diarrhea as his mother, smdh. I bought it on Amazon thinking, why can't I find allulose in the stores in ATX?? Thought the price was reasonable from It's Just Allulose brand on Amazon. I'll never use it again, hate I tried it, & am quite disappointed! Not sure how others can tolerate baking with allulose at all.
