I feel like Ivern was forgotten about. His passive is great if on any other character as it gives anyone a clear and an invade. His ult is strong and gives an extra bit of tank to the team. His e is a damage and shield with the same logic as lee sin w for the shield with a little 8 second cool down. W is trash for most characters and q is a root and massive damage and a dash. Even in a vacuum, these abilities are very strong for a jungler. On Ivern, these make him great at team fighting, on an actual character, these would make them so strong.

Though I feel like Support would be hard to figure out for this, since the type of support that's best at any time depends on both teamcomps, and there's multiple types of support that fill specific roles, compared to Marksman all being functionally the same, being an auto attack damage dealer, while some teams need a tank support while others need an enchanter

  • @PLKhataes
    @PLKhataes 3 года назад +28

Honestly, I think Kindred's ultimate is more game-changing than Amumu's.

    • @PLKhataes
      @PLKhataes 3 года назад

@@christhis9597 Saving the life of your teammates just gives more value than a 3 second area-stun, even if you fail Kindred's ultimate, you'll get more value out of it than Amumu's in most games, since with Amumus you need to find at least one enemy champion in order to get value, while Kindred's can be used to save your own life (which is insta-value), steal drake/baron, or save your win-condition from dying.
I'm silver and have a lot of games with kindred, I can guarantee you that R will fail only around 20-30% of the time, it just gives more value in general

    • @PLKhataes
      @PLKhataes 3 года назад

@Widy It's experience mostly, with time, and 500 games with both champs I have learned saving an objective or a teammate from dying, so you get a chance to either steal or win a teamfight, is WAY more impactful than a simple stun

    • @PLKhataes
      @PLKhataes 3 года назад +1

@Widy Meh, I'm still firm on my opinion. Way too many games - with both of them being my mains, have demonstrated me the value both can provide at their maximum potential.
And the biggest outplays have usually been through the lamb's R.
I get it Amumu's can make a difference in a teamfight, however you need to understand, first - A teamfight does not define the game as much as an objective, anf second - the value both give ALL over the the game, from the start to the end of it, Amumu's R has no comparison to Kindred's.
How many times people use Amumu's R?: I've counted an average of 4, maybe 5 times, when used good. How many times do people use Kindred's? An average of 6 per game, when used good too.
I've just seen more value for Kindred because of the objectives it can save, and the outplays it can make. It's not just saving a life or an objective, is giving vulnerability to most damage abilities, plus giving zero value to the enemy smite, ignite, R's, etc.
Amumu just stuns, this means that if you don't finish the enemy before the stun ends, the enemy team can get ALL of their abilities and summoners value, while Kindred's is mainly a "Value waster'' for the enemy, as they still throw everything, yet don't deal any damage.

I think I'd prefer the video if the abilities were being looked at in isolation. I'm more interested in "which e is the best" not "which e is the best with the other abilities I've already chosen"
For example, which e could be taken off and replaced into most other jungler kits and be an improvement. For example, I'd imagine that Warwick's W would have shown higher on the list if not for the fact that you had already chosen a good mobility passive.
I also agree with the comment below which mentions Kayn's E being very good. I'm honestly surprised that kayn's passive didn't even get a mention as getting to pick between Shadow Assassins' damage and Rhaast's healing would be so good for nearly every champion in the jungle.

If we are judging champions abilities in a vaccuum, then how could you not mention iverns ultimate Daisy? It has good DPS and a constant reliable knockup which can hit multiple enemies at once. Early on in the game the enemy team doesnt have enough damage to kill Daisy realistically, due to her large health pool, so they have to retreat. Jungle is probably the only role I haven't played (and marksmen) because of their difficulty. My slow reaction time makes me just a pretty average if not a plain bad player all together. I'm just way more used to playing juggernauts. That being said, I still wanted to make my take on this. So here's my take!
Passive: Evelynn's demon shade: Stealth for ganking.
Q: Mordekaiser's Obliterate: Damage, does extra damage when only one target is hit.
W: Alistar's Headbutt: Gap closer and engage.
E: Mordekaiser's Death's grasp: Gap closer and magic penetration.
R: Swain's Demonic ascension: Allows for teamfight durability and damage, may also cause panic on enemies.
As I said earlier, never played jungle so I don't know if this'll work. But this kit should be capable of jungle clearing, dueling and teamfights.
I originally wanted this to be an infinite AP scaling jungler but I figured integrating veigar's passive would be to difficult (This would require both his passive and Q in order to stack properly.). So instead I came up with this.

As a mid/support main, my personal list for those roles would be the following:
    Mid:
P - Cassiopeia (honorable mentions - Akali, Swain, Veigar, Vel'Koz)
Q - Karthus (honorable mentions - Kassadin, Viktor, Vladimir, Heimerdinger)
W - Twisted Fate (honorable mentions - Yasuo, LeBlanc, Lissandra, Ziggs)
E - Yone (honorable mentions - Taliyah, Veigar, Zoe, Fizz)
R - Lissandra (honorable mentions - Neeko, Qiyana, Twisted Fate, Zed)
    Support:
P - Bard (honorable mentions - Senna, Nami, Yuumi, Brand)
Q - Blitzcrank (honorable mentions - Morgana, Lux, Alistar, Leona)
W - Thresh (honorable mentions - Rell, Yuumi, Lulu, Tahm Kench)
E - Morgana (honorable mentions - Karma, Bard, Braum, Rakan)
R - Senna (honorable mentions - Soraka, Seraphine, Pyke, Zilean)
Now, these probably aren't the best combos, but all these abilities that I listed are extremely impactful even on their own. There are LOTS of great abilities in League though, so it's actually quite tough to pick the best, and I've even had to leave out some good abilities from the honorable mentions, just to keep them at four spells.
With that being said, it would be fun if you could make a list for the worst abilities in the game, and it certainly seems easier than this too.

I actually think It's more like this:
Passive: Ivern's Friends of the Forest - Completely skips the jungle clear and lets us share jungle buffs. That is worth it alone, where it gets insane is with our other choices.
Q - Maokai's Bramble Smash - Decent burst and scrappy. Very committal, but good in ganks and okay in duels. Will be maxed first.
W - Maokai's Twisted Advance - Strong, reliable gank ability. Likely won't be maxed till last, but still very worthwhile.
E - Kayn's Shadow Step - Map control is king. This lets you do some busted things with Friends of the Forest that make the combo too good to pass up.
R - Gragas' Explosive Cask - Games are won and lost on this ability's impact on picks and teamfights. This was picked as it's one of the lower cooldown 'gank tank spank cooldowns', but also works with Shadow Step to remotely screw over your gank target as you're coming in, shares AP scaling with the Maokai skills so that you have a consistent build path, this ties the whole kit together with a cherry on top.

I would argue that warwick's W is argueably the most powerful w in the jungle. Getting that attack speed when they drop bellow 50% ro while you have activated w not only makes for amazing clear speeds but also for 1v1s or even team fights paired with the correct kit. The AS bonus also pairs well with olaf's passive. The utility warwick's w provides is also amazing. You can usually see him reach absurd amounts of movement speed in games due to his enemies being low and he can also track stealthed targets with his blood trails which is a huge advantage. He knows where an enemy is even without having any vision on them whatsoever. The MS bonus would also work perfectly with pretty much every other ability you added to the conceptual jungler of mixed abilities you created. With the w he can stick close to enemies to continue using heca's q or get close enough to use amumu's r. The combo with primal howl is obvious cause they are ww's abilities and any one of the passives you mentioned except maybe zac's would work well with the w. Evelynn's passive would be ten times scarier if she could reach you faster than she already can with her own ms bonus. Having that ms bonus paired with THIS w would give the enemy no chance of escaping or when they are low ( they would not even have time to react). I already talked about olaf and how well ww's passive would pair with his. Especially with some life steal. Similar to Evelynn's, rengar's passive paired with warwick's w would make fights with the conceptual champion inescapeable. You would not be able to run away and even if you could the champ would still catch up to you using rengar's bush leaps in the jungle. So good luck if you would ever get invaded by this. I could keep going on and on about combos with other champion abilities but you get the idea. Attack speed bonuses along with ms bonuses and the ability to still see enemy positions even when they are out of vision or stealthed is pretty powerful for just one ability.

My ideal Jungler, with the caveat of getting to choose abilities from other lanes, would be something like old Evelynn:
Passive: Diana. Her passive is gated entirely by her lack of a spammable ability, but on any champion that does have one, it becomes a permanent 45-120% AS steroid with a three-hit passive on top
Q: Evelynn. This ability is actually nuts when you break it down. Whether it's for clearing camps or attacking an enemy, Hate Spike does an absurd 130 base + 145% AP at rank one on a 4-second cooldown. Oh and that cooldown starts on the first cast of the ability, meaning it constantly procs on-cast effects.
W: Akshan. A much better version of Evelynn's stealth available before level 6 and with a shorter detection range. Comes with a bonus of turning 2-for-1 or 1-for-1 kill trades into a strict advantage for your team.
E: Xin Zhao. Even without his challenge mechanic, a point and click dash with an AS steroid (stacking with the diana passive), is what I would want out of an on-hit champion.
R: Evelynn. There are probably better options to close out a kill or escape a fight, but I like the utility of having both in one. The strict AP scaling is a problem for the on-hit focused gameplan, but that's what Lich's Bane and Nashor's were made for.

I think that the best champ, would have:
Kayne passive - It allows the jungler to fit the situation, which is essential for the role
Nunu Q - A second smite allows a guarnateed objective take, pretty much. That and it scales well of off ap and hp means it can be used on eithe the assasin or bruiser/ tank that kayn passive turns them into
Nocturne W - A free spellshield to block any ability. Kinda nice, for either kind of jungler. It also guarantes ganks, as their cc has no effect on you.
Kayn E - Walks over walls. Enough said.
Lee sin R - Its ability to not onlny deal massive amount of damage, but to knock back anyone into your team, or clear the field of a major threat.... User it on the jungler during counterganks, or even during objective fight, or dive into the backline and kick the adc.
The synergies aren't great, but individually, I think that these are the best for the jungle specifically.

    Eve's passive; Fiddlesticks Q; Rek'sai W; Warwick E; Elise R.
I think this is the best combo, Fiddle's Q passive synergizes really well with Eve's invisibility, and having access to Reksai's W means you get all her burrowed form skills. Rek's burrowed Q has a really long range, you just need to hit an enemy from far away while camouflaged and they would get the fear from Fiddle's Q passive, then you get close to the enemy with Rek's burrowed E to knock them up and cast Fiddle's Q, which will deal extra damage since they were recently affected by fear. To close the combo, you just use WW's E for the protection and uses Elise's R to get all of her spider abilities, which are meant to finish off targets. Honestly, i went all out, this champion would be absolutely busted.

    My AD omega jungler
    [Rengar's P] - [Shaco's Q] - [Olaf's W] - [Kindred's E] - [Lee's R]
For starters Rengar's Passive is Amazing even without an invisibility/stealth ability to trigger the jump, giving a LOT of bonus% AD and allowing you to snowball super hard
Shaco's Q works as a gap closer AND has synergy with Rengar's Passive allowing you to surprise attack from essentially twice the distance either one could and giving you basically half of evelyn's passive ward immunity
Olaf's W is just that lvl 1 ability you use to clear quickly and dps people, nothing outstanding but you can't argue with the synergy it has with the next ability i chose. Kindred's E is one of those 3 hit wonders that slows massively and does a good amount of missing health Dmg to execute targets, yes you're essentially a steroids assassin
And lee's R is just great, Shaco+Rengar jump on their back and kick them to your team, throw Kindred's mark as a slow and bonus and just shot them to death with Olaf's stupid attack speed and lifesteal W
The abilities are not THE best ones but they work together pretty nicely if you build like a Yi or Rengar, aka crit heavy assassins, of course I'd love it if the character is Ranged so you don't have to walk to the enemy after you kick and mark them, oh yeah also Kindred's E scales with marks of her Passive, so technically with Rengar's Passive you can get that ability to scale a tiny bit, just 5 marks but bonus synergy is bonus synergy
Anyway if riot makes this broken monster i just crafted i might leave the game for good, I'm done with overloaded kits, and this one is so overloaded it would break solo Q, just the fact you get what's scary about Rengar's R but on Shaco's Q cooldown is nuts

    my version for support
    () means honorable mention for support i would use passive taric(karma,nautilus) q leona(blitz ,rakan,) w taric(senna,leona,thresh,rell) e morgana(janna,karma) r sona(leona,alistar,taric,nami)
    Reasons:
Passive: After casting an ability, Taric's next two basic attacks within 4 seconds gain 100% total attack speed, each dealing 25 − 93 (based on level) (+ 15% bonus armor) bonus magic damage and reducing the Cooldowns of his basic abilities by 1 second
    Q:
Leona illuminates her shield, causing her next basic attack within 6 seconds to have a 0.25-second cast time, gain 50 bonus range, deal bonus magic damage and stun the target for 1 second.
Shield of Daybreak resets Leona's basic attack timer.
    W:
PASSIVE: Taric gains bonus armor and forms a tether between him and the ally bound by Bastion. While the tether persists, the ally also gains the bonus armor and Taric's abilities are mimicked to them, though the effects do not stack.
ACTIVE: Taric Hybrid shields himself and the target allied champion for 2.5 seconds, binding them with Bastion.
Taric can self-cast to shield himself; if he is untethered, this will instead target the nearest ally. Only one ally can be bound at a time, and selecting a new ally overrides the previous bind.
    E:
Morgana Hybrid shields the target allied champion or herself for up to 5 seconds, which absorbs magic damage and grants crowd control immunity while the shield holds.
    R:
PASSIVE: Reduces the base cooldown of Sona's basic abilities.
    BASIC ABILITY BASE COOLDOWN REDUCTION:
    10 / 25 / 40%
ACTIVE: Sona plays an irresistible chord in the target direction, dealing magic damage to all enemy champions struck and stunning them for 1.5 seconds.
notes: even if sona r wasnt a thing alistar r is a thing with taric w

This is a really cool concept, but in choosing these 4 abilities, you've actually made one someone lackluster champ that has to rely on stealth or allies to get anything due to not having any projectiles or range. This hypothetical champ would have a hard time not only getting in range if an ally is not in melee range but would also have nothing once the CC is used, since sneaking up behind someone wouldn't be instant death like it would with Evelynn since Hecarim's Q is lower damage but spammable, allowing pretty much anyone with even a normal MS boost to kite them out.

She would struggle to farm, but once you got a little cdr, clearing would be a breeze, and you would have three really strong engage tools, two chasing tools, a passive that gives you ornn levels of damage, a tank steroid that scales off ap, and an aoe cc. That kit would not only be extremely mobile because of the two dashes, but it would also be hard to catch, as both poppy e and ekko w can both be used either to escape or to threaten a turn

Its a passive, non-ult ability that basically allows you to exert map-wide pressure and gives you map-wide information. I can think of a lot of characters that would love to have Warwick's w.

I think this list might be outdated; Viego's Q blows Hecarim's Q out of the water imo. It gives you an extra passive, and a powerful one; Lightslinger with a focus on sustain. Pair it with a W and E that have a damage component, and you have a recipe for great damage output and great sustain during all stages of the game, at very little cost.
Not to mention Viego's actual passive, which is balanced only by weakening the rest of Viego's kit, the fact that it doesn't activate until Viego gets a kill, and the fact that Viego's pilot needs to at least have a basic understanding of every champion in the meta to get full mileage out of it. Though Demon Shade might still be better in a lot of situations.

I love these kinds of analysis, and here I am to give my own thoughts before watching this video to compare with the creators. I am here fresh from the top lane video so my brain is fired up and this time around I'll try to think more about ability synergies. Jungle is probably the role I'm least familiar with but I'll do my best. Let's do it.
Passive: Passives are hard to choose because of how they often are designed to influence, or be influenced by, the rest of a characters kit, so it can be hard to find ones that work in a vacuum. I would first narrow it down to (this is gonna sound weird) Evelynn, Fiddlesticks, and Shyvana. Evelynn is blessed with nearly permanent stealth while out of combat after level 6, as well as free out of combat regen up to a health threshold, the regen would be appreciated by any jungler, and the only reason that the stealth is even remotely balanced on Eve is because she doesn't have great ganking tools without it. Fiddlesticks is blessed with a very strange replacement to his trinket, acting as both a ward and (after level 6) a sweeping lens, and with vision control being one of the most important things a jungler can have being vision control any champion would appreciate getting to have both a means of placing and clearing vision built in to their kit. Shyvana gets increased damage dealt to dragons and is buffed with increased resistances after killing dragons, given that dragons are one of the most important map objectives this can be a big deal if you play to the objectives well, and this is another one that almost any jungler would appreciate having. My final choice would be Evelynn's passive, since being perma stealthed when out of combat past level 6 is so devastatingly powerful and it's only drawback we don't have to worry about.
Q: Qs are often the bread and butter of a kit, so lets narrow it down. I'd first narrow it down to (wow these abilities are so much harder to categorize than top lane) Fiddlesticks, Kayn, and Rammus. Point and click hard cc is a rare commodity in League, and having that cc be a fear with good range and a passive that makes it that much scarier (being able to fear with any ability as long as you're unseen which already synergizes amazing with Eve passive) is even stronger. Kayn's Q is an everything ability, with a low cooldown and mana cost making it spammable, it's a small dash that can go through some walls, and it does good aoe damage for clearing camps and stronger teamfighting overall. Rammus's Q makes him one of the scariest gankers in the game, and with him zooming at you at mach 10 from stealth it would be an almost impossible gank to avoid. If I had to pick one I would go with Kayn, as it's an incredibly versatile ability overall and there are better ganking tools that can be found elsewhere to fulfill that role.
W: Ws are often utility spells, providing some kind of shield or heal or cc, but this isn't always the case. I would first narrow it down to Fiddlesticks (3 for 3 so far) and Hecarim. This is strange because these abilities do very similar things but with different strengths and weaknesses. Fiddlesticks provides him with aoe damage and sustain in the jungle and in fights, with a larger focus being toward this ability as the main source of damage. Hecarim's does the same thing, but with slightly lower overall power but the bonus of being able to have it active while also doing other things, and for this reason I would give it to Hecarim W over Fiddle's due to it better synergizing with the rest of the kit so far.
E: Es are often mobility spells, which means gank tools for junglers, and with the damage roles fulfilled at their best these are the main things I'm looking for now. I would narrow it down to Gragas, Kayn, and Zac. Gragas has a low cooldown dash that doubles as a small knockup for amazing ganks, with a low cooldown that gets reduced even further if you land it, it provides mobility and great frequent cc. Kayn's E provides some of the most unpredictable gank pathing in the entire game, and in conjunction with the stealth from the passive he would be almost impossible to stop ganks from. Zac's E is one of the longest range gap closing cc spells in the game, and having it be aoe makes it all that much better. I would give this one to Gragas, mostly because the long range and crazy pathing isn't super necessary on a character that's perma stealth post level 6 anyway, and the lower cooldown means much better overall utility.
R: The ultimate ability for a jungler should be a true game changer, with amazing fighting power or engage potential a junglers ultimate will often be the difference between winning and losing and gives the champion their identity. I knew my answer before even starting this list, and the answer is Amumu ult, it's one of the most devastating ultis in the game, being a large and almost instant aoe stun around the user, and in conjunction with the mobility provided by Kayn Q and Gragas E it would be almost impossible to stop.
So those are my picks this time around, I'm much less familiar with this role than any other but it was interesting to look at the champions and see how their abilities would synergize together. I'll make an edit talking about my afterthoughts once I see the video.

It is an aoe cc trap that deals lots of damage, it is very useful for clearing jungle and as a disruption in teamfights, even being able to block some game ending skillshots like hooks about to hit your adc, it can completely zone out areas by itself, both large when placed on chokepoints and escape routs while ganking and potentialy kill people by itself if they jump into more than one box at once.

Kayn passive tho would be insane on other champs. Imagine rhaast on characters like hecarim, trundle, VI, mundo. Shadow form on characters like kha zix

I think warwicks W could be in honorable mentions, high attack speed for better clears, dueling, ganks and rotate faster to low hp enemies.

Excuse me? What about Nunu Q? A 990 true damage skill that doubles as a smite if you don't have it (for whatever reason), with a beautiful ap scaling, AND healing, scaling off max health and AP?
Not gonna lie, those where some very good picks, but honestly, there's not beating a skill that basically makes you jungle better, harder, faster, stronger

Hmmm evelynn's passive invisible and heals, Lee's q good dmg engage and disengage, fiddles w massive heals and surprisingly high amount of dmg, kayns e for mobility voli's ult. I'm not sure if voli is in the jungle or top category but, giving bonus health and disabling towers for ganks turned tower dives combined with the other abilities I picked makes sense to me. An invisible jungler that can walk through walls with good engage and disengage who also can also disable towers

yes Rengar pass over Eve(already enough sustain via W, E). Feels very ability spamy melee ap tank. Pass: after 4 ability next AA is impowered instead & deals magic dmg, unique champ kills grant +5% AP, Q change AD to AP, E AP increase dmg redux. W Ap increase drain. lore wise lot of injury, bandages(rengar, lee) an death(amumu, hec), was from Shadow Isle but changed by Zaun. 4 eyes 3 covered, uses bandages as weapons. E make ww E recast/end does gragas E, increase cd to 16 at max rank, cost 90 mana
