Parathas can be made in several ways. This recipe is the basic and healthiest amongst all. Based on this recipe you can make more complicated parathas like layered, stuffed and so on. I find this method to be the easiest amongst all.
    Ingredients -
230 gm/ 1 & 1/2 cups atta (chapati flour). You can also use whole wheat flour
    145 gm/ 1 cup plain flour
    1/4th tsp salt
    2 tbsp + 1 tsp oil
225 ml/ 1 cup warm water. You may need more or less than the stated proportion

Lovely. When I was in southern India (Kerala), paratha was a little different. It was flaky, very similar to the Malaysian roti canai. I guess recipes vary all across the subcontinent.

@@raysouth1952 actually there are various type of parathas, plain, stuffed, layered. This is the most basic one and is like a foundation for all parathas. Our elders teach this one first and then we build our skills on the complex ones.

Apart from your lovely voice, your delicious recipes and your humour, the main reason I LOVE your videos is BECAUSE YOU EXPLAIN EVERYTHING SO WELL!!! Looks pretty unanimous...we love Bumbi and your style!
I also noticed some fun sped up footage which i thought paired perfectly with the music.
On that note, the music reminded me of 1960s Italian western film, of which I am a big fan. Cheers!

I like your style because I am a beginner. Please keep doing what you are doing. There are lots of other channels to choose from, but yours is easy for me to understand.
Plus, watching this video makes me hungry :)
