Today we'll be trying to save some money by Propagating our Lavender using cuttings from existing plants; it's pretty easy. I have some artwork to show you and will be sharing some of my own Hopalong Hollow seed with 20 Subscribers. My artwork can be purchased here: www.jerilanders.com

Hi jeri, so nice to watch your lovely video. My lovely husband went to heaven on the 1st February this year, I miss him so much. We'd been married for 53 years, we met when we were 15 at school, he was 74 and im now 74 on Sunday. Thanks xxx
I'm so sorry for your loss. To lose a life partner is a nightmare that I hope I never have to experience. I keep telling my husband that he is not allowed to pass before me. I am 74 and he is 76.
It must be so very sad to be without him, I am glad you had a long life together.

Those poppy colors…wow Jeri. You don’t do anything half baked. You will be successful with those lavenders one way or the other. I’m rooting for you. So true about the fleetingness of everything, but I love how you plan your gardens so meticulously that as soon as one type of flower’s time is up, you have another ready to bloom in its place. Talk about those seed packets…they are beautiful (all your illustrations are). I too prefer growing my dahlias from seeds rather than from the tubers. The view from that porch is certainly very lovely. I can go on and on, but this is the only way I can be there with you inside your garden and at least being able to hear your wise thoughts on so many topics. Sending love and hugs. I remember when you were planting dahlia seeds and I suggested tubers; you were on the right track. The seeds are so much better!
We have two of your books!! My husband, an artist, was in awe of the incredible detail. When one of your books is opened it is truly one of those “rabbit holes” that one can get lost in.

Greetings from Ireland, Beautiful looking natural garden. We bought a cottage with grass in the front and grass in the back in rural Ireland twenty years ago. I had no interest in gardening all I have to do is cut the grass I could live with that. One day my wife asked me to dig a flower bed for her in the front garden and I said do I have to and she said you will. So off I went and bought a spade and started digging great I thought to myself job done I'm off the hook. But oh no she wanted me to help her plant the perennial flowers she bought from the garden centre. She showed me how to plant the flowers and then she told me I would be looking after the flower bed. I visited a garden centre to buy a book on gardening and at the end of summer as luck would have it the plants were still alive. The following spring I went digging and digging and planting and planting I had the gardening bug. My wife has no interest in gardening and at the moment in the front garden there are four flower beds, fifty two pots of perennials and six pots of annuals on the windowsills she has told me it looks like a mini garden centre. We have grass, a glasshouse, water barrels, a no dig veg bed and a three bay composting system in the back garden. Next autumn I plan to create two big no dig flower beds in the back garden, I have loads of flowers in the front garden that I can divide and plant the divisions into the new beds and I have loads of compost so it wont cost anything to create.

Oh how lovely. I bought some lavender plants this year. The nursery guy told me which ones were perennial for our area. I'm late watching my videos due to planting my garden, etc. I don't plant until June 1st but this year I could've waited. It turned cold again. Then we had weeks of 95, feels like 110 degree weather so I had to get some sun shade over my tomato plants. The green tomatoes would just drop and I remember someone telling me it's too hot...they prefer high 70's and 80's here. Too much sun is one cause of leaf curl according to MIGardner. I just watched his video before I watched yours. I LOVE your seed packets and I'm sorry I missed out. I'm getting ready to watch the Charles Wysocki video next.
I’ve had the same issues with lavender. I’m in the U.K. I’m having great results with growing lavender in 1-2ft chimney pots on gravel. 👍
If only we could get Chimney pots here in the US! I bet they look great with Lavender.

I was so thrilled to see your poppies. I love the colors. I hope the seed winners are successful at growing them. The prints are lovely. We're renovating the house so I have to wait to see if I have any wall space available for one after I finish hanging what I have already. Heaven knows when that will be.

Thanks for your inspiration. My lovely friend gave me a few foxglove plants!!! I've wanted these for years. One is just about to bloom. My inner teen girl thanks you for helping to make sweet teen dreams of flower gardens come true!!!
Sounds great! Generally. after bloom, the Foxglove will die down to the ground, but some are Perennial so don't discard the plant, it may return for you next year. Be sure to keep the seeds from the plant. or let them fall in place.

Wow……those roses❤ I fell in love. I find roses a little tricky. Could be the lack of soil😂. I make the most soil myself. I take what I got. Rabbitpoo mixed with sand and old hay, make excellent soil. Have to get more ramblers. Just love yours. And letting them climb up in a tree like that, is beautiful. I live about 50 km above Stockholm in the countryside, and I really enjoy your videos❤. The garden looks so beautiful this spring, I love everything about it and all the animals. I watch a lot of garden videos from around the country and they are really nice gardens but I like yours the best. If I lived down the road from you, I would want to walk in your garden all the time, you would have to run me off with a water hose😂. I would love to have a seed packet!😊🌸

I'm "rooting " for the lavender to grow into beautiful plants. I had success once with lavender but when we moved the lavender stayed. I haven't been able to grow it since. Blessings
