@@JeriLandersofHopalongHollow I love the little blue sprays of Forget-Me-Nots (& the fact that they are an old fashioned flower). However, I found in my yard they wanted to reseed themselves to vigorously all over, so I was constantly having to pull them like weeds in places I didn't want them.😕 One plant I meant to tell you about that I planted this year in my garden was Blue Star Creeper. It is a dense mat of the tiniest, cutest little blue flowers. I bought a six-pak of them this Spring & planted them under our Lillies along the house. They have quickly filled in this long narrow bed; & though it said Spring blooms, they have kept on producing right on through Summer for me!💙
(Edit: also I don't notice them having issue w/ Spider mites that the Forget-Me-Nots always seemed to get. Bit perhaps that is where I am at on the West Coast)

August gardens can be so wild and crazy... they need to be tamed and calmed down a bit... just like us.

perfect video for me! I'm in Atlanta in a tiny tiny space gardening for my first year and I'm going to try to plant the entire year also...so I took notes on what you're growing each month. Our climates are similar. The herringbone pattern brick is beautiful.

I really enjoyed this video! I recently cleaned up my raised vegetable beds and planted zucchini, onions, carrots, green beans, kale and spinach. My next project is a cold frame so I’ll be interested to see what you have to say about that. We also have a shed that desperately needs organizing. Gardening chores just never end, and thank God for that! 😊

Oh my you are industrious. I’m in zone 5,6. Some seeds winter over , but I collect some anyway. I discovered that fennel, if you don’t pull up the bulb, will get over my head with abundant seeds. It acts like a perennial. I enjoy it so much. Each single seed is powerful when fresh.

My print arrived and it is beautiful! 😊 Your garden is so beautiful and inspiring, I love the variety you have planted! I am planting fall veggies however, I never thought of planting flowers in the fall other than the bulbs that I plant this time of year. I’ll have to check my zone and see what flower seeds I can tuck in. As always, such an enjoyable video! Thank you! 😀

I'm trying to become a gardener and I love your video. You teach as you go along, it's so pretty, and THE PEACOCKS. Neighbors of ours had peacocks and believe it or not I miss that call! The music adds to the peace of it all. Thanks!

You are so lucky to get rain. In Iowa we are in a terrible drought. I have been watering my perennials everyday. The flowers in containers 2 times a day. The heat is suppose to let up finally next week. But your rain looked like a dream. Thanks for sharing. Joyce
