Soft 99 fuso coat, definitely the best wax protection for your car in the winter, just ensure you apply it very thinly to avoid hours of buffing it off , doing mine this weekend!
One of the best car waxes (or more appropriately "synthetic sealant") ever created. I love using Fusso Coat. I still have a can of the original stuff left that is about eight to ten years old and it still works great. I just waxed my car with it before winter and it is the perfect winter wax to keep the vehicle protected from the winter elements. I live in Colorado so you definitely need a good protective product on your paint whether it be a wax, sealant, or coating. Fusso Coat works great as it is so durable against road grime, dirt, water spotting, etc. Very good wax and very easy to use. Just ensure you keep the foam applicator a little damp and apply in super thin coats and using it is a breeze. Don't use it in the sun or it hardens like concrete quite quickly and you'll have a terribly bad time taking it back off the paint. Just do it in a garage or in the shade, or late evening when the sun goes down and you'll have no problems as long as you put it on thin. What you do get? A super hydrophobic shell on your paint that rejects road grime. Washing your car afterwards is much easier. I would say you need to do a good prep to get the maximum benefit from Fusso Coat. It will let it adhere to your paint much better with simple prep work. Use a high PH pre-wash first, then use an iron remover of your choice, then either a clay mitt or one of the synthetic clay towels/mitts. Some people combine the clay towel or clay mitt step with their wash which can be done if you have a lubricating car wash. I do it as a separate step and use a clay bar as they work better in my opinion in removing all the junk off the paint. I do use clay towels also but for me, the clay bar get's more embedded dirt and grime off the paint. Some people also do it along with the iron remover step, using the iron remover as the clay lube. I don't do it that way, but some pro's do to save time. If you have never tried, Fusso Coat, it's still one of the very best waxes/sealants on the market today for the price. The only other wax I have found that lasts as long and has similar properties is Collinite Super Double Coat wax which is a hybrid type of wax very similar to Fusso Coat that works equally as well as Fusso Coat. Thirty applications per can is a BARGAIN for a wax/sealant of this quality. One of the best daily driver waxes/sealants out there. I use it on all of my vehicles including my 370Z. Works fantastic. I top it with Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Graphene Infused Wax, and then I keep it maintained with BOLA Solutions graphene spray sealant. Gives me at least a year of protection but my car is garaged all the time. And using the BOLA spray sealant extends the life of the sealant almost indefinitely. Soft 99 probably has more experience with creating waxes than any other company on the planet. They offer many many different kinds of waxes and sealants depending on what you are looking for in a wax. They offer glossy waxes, hydrophobic waxes, cleaner waxes, high carnauba content waxes, and hybrid waxes of various types. Soft 99 knows what they are doing when it comes to waxes. You won't go wrong with any of their products. I also love their Wash Mist+ (plus) product for interior cleaning. It works on every surface inside the cabin including glass and is small enough of a bottle you can keep in your glove box or somewhere inside your car for those "uh oh" moments when you need a cleaner for inside the car on the go. One of the best products for interior cleaning or quick clean ups I have ever used. And it smells wonderful. A nice clean scent. Highly recommended. Wash Mist and now Wash Mist+ (which has some antibacterial properties) has been my go to interior product for many years now. I just wish I could get the larger 5 liter or gallon size they offered for a while here in the USA. Now I can only get the small bottle which is fine but cost much more than the larger size which you could refill the small bottle with. For anyone reading interested in Wash Mist+, but it in the larger size if that size is offered where you live in the world.
Just another super slick guru production, after all the years its still pleasing to see a notification of the guru's latest antics, as the latest storm passes by i can see zero protection on my daily driver so i best get it sorted, fusso could just be the ticket.
Soft99 provides insane hydrophobic qualities and great durability. I am getting 10+ months protection, which includes our infamous Chicago winters and salty roads. Nothing that I’ve tried has come close to Soft 99.
Applied Fusso dark a month ago on my black 4 series. It's a real bead monster. A couple of days ago a topped it of with soft99 mirror shine. More care had to be taken with the Fusso coat and found 5 mins was the maximum time it could be left for an easy buff. I was warmish overcast day though. The Mirror shine is an absolute doddle to work with. Apply it and buff it straight off. Really good products👍🏻
I've got a 206 GTi and I ceramic coated mine with armour shield 9 then treated it to a lovely helping of fusso 12-month... every other clean or so I top it up with armor shield light... My little French baguettes 23 years old but it looks fantastic for its age...😎 Great video Joe...👍🏻👍🏻😎
Tbh it was just relatively fresh from the dealer. The detailing detective in me said it probably hadn’t been properly cleaned for the first 2 years of its life and the lads in the back had knocked 80% of the ingrained greenery off to get it sale-worthy.
For high gloss, I would definitely top the Fusso Coat with King of Gloss. I've tried this combo so many times that its just unmatched with everything else I have. King of Gloss is also made to be used as a topper for fusso coat as per John from Forensics Detailing.
You're going to cost me a fortune man, grabbed the Soft 99 Glass cleaning stuff after your vid on that stuff, (it was absolutely awesome on both mine and the other half's cars), and looks like I'm heading back to their website again! NB I hope you remembered to do the other half of the Pugs windscreen before handing it back!!:)
An idea for a future video, maybe an end of year tier list style video? Loads of content creators seem to be doing tier lists. With so many products out there, it would be interesting to hear your opinion on the best wheel cleaners / glass cleaners etc. Or a video of what you recommend for weekly maintenance washes
Fussocoat is very tricky for beginners. Exactly when you think you dont use enough product its too much 😂 Im schoolimg detailers on my free time in Germany and so many use too much . Every time i have to say ,just dab the pad in ,rotate it with no pressure and put it on the paint.
I used soft99 pearl and metallic on my Misano Blue Giulia they do make quality stuff at affordable prices, and I've done the glaco on all the windows, only issue I have it's that good it makes my wipers jump! 😳
Great video. Fusso is my favourite sealant. Really cool colour on the Peugeot. It will really stand out against the sea of black/silver/grey/white motors on our roads.👍😎
Great stuff pal! I’ve always wanted to try the Fusso products but now I think I should! My detailing passion has lapsed somewhat since I’ve had a company car though 😂
Thank you so much for the brilliant videos I thoroughly enjoy them just I just can’t quite remember the Aunty Rust snow form name Brilliant video as always
I always thought that Fusso didn't add much gloss but this vid proved me wrong, the finish was impressive. Maybe the new formula is better in this respect although it's said that it's durability doesn't quite match the original.
What a great finish on that yellow paint Joe! And well done to the owner turning down the dealers ceramic coating. I work in a dealer 400 quid for a product that isn't applied boils my p### it's an absolute disgrace. 😡😡😡
Great video mucker. Lovely rich colour,Peugeot do a really rich blue colour. I’ve used both glacé products with great results 🎉. Thanku for the video ❤
Awsome work once again, and the after shots are just gold. I got a question though: I treated my dads car with fuso coat, but after 1 month it's just flat. Can it be that the the pores of the layer get full with a dirt film that stops the beading protection? ( i did not washed the car yet)
Brilliant video! And as always very informing! Please just use some gloves next time when working with Fusso Coat. This stuff can be harmful over time.

Good afternoon. I'm from Brazil and I follow your channel. Have you tried wetting the sponge before using Fusso Coat or King off Gloss? You can do this with any Soft99 wax. Try it and you will approve
Another great video Guru!! Fusso is great but, I prefer the Turtle Wax Ceramic Graphene Paste Wax I found that it has equal amounts of long term durability and the smell is more pleasant than fusso coat
Love soft 99, used it for years now, I honestly think they way soft 99 fusso or the water block stuff make water just slip off a car makes ceramic coatings not worth it at all
I am very proud that Japanese products are appreciated.
Japanese are always appreciated all around the world.
