I can safely say that GLACO ZERO is literally a life-saver. I can't tell you how petrified I was when I was driving and was caught in a monsoon rain. Couldn't see out front much but at least had windscreen wipers. But the side mirrors were totally opaque because there was so much rainwater and I was so afraid of switching lanes because of other vehicles. Next day I went and bought Glaco Zero, tried it on my side mirrors and a week later, when again I was caught in the monsoon, I was left with my mouth agape because the side mirrors were COMPLETELY DRY! Not even a bead of water. I was so amazed and feel so safe when driving out in the rain ( esp at night). I really stand by this product. Thank you, GLACO!

@@PanTheOrganizer Hi, I discovered your channel while I was doing a search for Glaco products for my windshield. Thank you.
@@okkami676 are you from indonesia?
I'm having a flash back....
Stationed in korea monsoon season. Really bad
None of this stuff existed
Although I'm currently using a protective glass coating I wasn't aware that this company made a one. Definitely going to order this after seeing this demonstration, props to you and Isabel for excellent camera 📷 shots to show us exactly how the product works. Thanks pan. 🏆🇨🇦
Thanks! But I filmed all of this alone. Isabelle didn't help with this video. ;)
I like your scientific approach with comparisons, also in this case highlighting the structure of the glass. These things make your videos enjoyable to watch.
Thanks Ralph! I appreciate the positive feedback. I put in a lot of time and effort to produce these videos, so it's nice to see my efforts don't go unnoticed by my viewers.
I feel like I'm watching a scientist at work. Love his videos!
Great review Pan! The Ultra Glaco is a really good glass coating. It lasted on my windshield a little over a year
Good to know! Thanks for sharing your experience!
I'm a very big fan of Soft 99 with their Fusso coat and Ultra Glaco. I've been using Fusso coat and Ultra Glaco for a few years now and it never dissappoint me. It easily can get up to 13-14 months of protection for the Ultra Glaco and up to 10 months of protection for the Fusso coat.. I'm living in Malaysia by the way which is Summer all year round..
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Hi bro berapa kali did you wash your car in a month? Twice a week wash with sometimes using all purpose cleaner will affect fusso and glaco’s durability tak?
@@hydewizard Hi bro 😁 I always wash my car with PH neutral shampoo (Carpro Reset) and I wash my car once a week. Sometimes once every 2 weeks. Although the product can withstand all purpose cleaner, but in the long term will affect the performance of the product.. 😁
@@kongzhihao6289 and Glaco if you used wash mitt on the glass over and over again over the course of a year won't affect the coating at all?
@@hydewizard From my experience, wash mitt will not affect the durability but windshield wiper will.. you can try ultra glaco on your windshield and your side window. You will see your side window's ultra glaco lasts almost twice as long.. But most important is preparing the glass.. Usually after I use Glass refresh on the windshield, I will use carpro eraser to clean the glass. Then, I apply ultra glaco..
Thanks Pan, I had a huge question mark about soft 99 but through your video and this glass coating I can see it truly works, great video Pan thanks 💣💥
Thanks Mann!
Glaco Max was so easy to apply, easy to remove, I live in Wales UK... Rains alot! This stuff is fantastic. I tell people to use & as per you video is Really easy to apply.. Another super, helpful and simple talk through of great products... Thanks👍👌👌
Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for reviewing this Japanese brand, Pan! I see them a lot in Hong Kong and I've tried the side mirror spray and it does repel water very strongly but it turns into kinda a milky haze after a while and I have to clean it off and reapply. Also can't touch the surface of the mirror or else it causes smudges and loss of the layer. Will try their highway windshield protectant! Thanks again.
Which other brand do you recommend
@@jomponsaardphak252 I actually just use the ceramic detailer from Turtle wax on the glass.
Hey Pan! Love your videos! Can you do a video on how/when you replace/top off a glass coating? For example, after the 10-12 months of durability, what’s the next step? Also, if you got a glass ceramic coating that you are not happy with, how would you remove it to replace it with something more DIY like Glaco? Thanks again for all the amazing content!
Thanks Jonathan!
You would simply polish the glass like I did in this video, with the Glaco Compound Roll On.
Or, use a more intense cerium ozide glass polish with rayon glass polishing pad like in my glass polishing and coating tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/yMi5PtyqUI8/видео.html
Excellent timing on this video Pan. I’ve been looking into a new glass coating and Glaco was already near the top due to ease of use.
Thanks!
VERY cool technology!! thanks for the review Pan, i will try these out for sure, was impressed with the Ultra
You bet!
I use Glaco MAX and instructions clearly say (for all the products you tested) " Dry for 5-10 minutes and wipe up with a tightly wrung out damp towel" So not a dry towel but a damp one. I also use Glaco ZERO and have mixed impressions about it. It does repel water really good but it is overly sensitive so you can't wipe your mirrors because if you do you wipe the product off too. It does repel water but not road grime to. Oh yeah and Glaco MAX doesn't work well with Bosch wipers. They tend to leave a haze after every wipe, which only started to happen after I applied Glaco the first time.
Don't overthink the moment. I had a discussion with experts from Soft99 Europe and they recommended a dry towel. And that worked for me. But yes the instructions do recommend a slightly damp towel for wipe off.
Do you know better products with better results? The Glaco zero for example, is there any that can do better in the average situation we encounter everyday ?
I also experience this. Soft99 suggest I polish the glass using their Soft99 Glass refresh polish compound to remove any oils/residues. Clean your Bosch wiper blades very thoroughly as well. Once spotless and clean, apply the Glaco again. So far this has worked for me.
That makes 0 sense.
You wipe off the product but the wipers don't?
@@freeaudiobooks7469 It is just a way to say. Do not take it literally. 🙂
After Glaco dries, it creates a milky appearance, after that you use a wet towel that will remove this "fog" from the windshield, but note that despite you wiping the excess of the product , you won't remove the repellent attached to the windshield doing that.
After some hours, it completely attaches to the windshield, and the wipers will not remove it easily, but of course, the wipers will slowly removing the repellent.
The more you use the wipers, the less time it will last.
If you use glaco wash in the car water spray, it will maintain the repellent working longer, because it also contains repellant.
ps.: glaco zero is great, but very sensitive. If you touch the mirror, you remove the coat.
Awesome test Pan! Somewhat longer comment below but please read it.
May be worth noting that your demo around 15 minutes in showing what it may be like in inclement weather is actually pretty astounding. The reason being is that's actually a lot more directed and intense than 90% of the rain anybody will ever come across while driving.
I firmly believe that glass coating kept my family safe recently as we were driving home from a road trip and ended up having to pass through a snow storm on unfamiliar roads totalling about 150 total minutes of the drive. As I was driving I obviously noted the rain and snow but it didn't occur to me just how bad it was until about 30 minutes in when our Rav4 told me the radar cruise control wasn't available. At that point it occurred to me that the front of the vehicle that houses the actual radar unit didn't have the same coating on it and upon checking it at the gas station I was shocked to see it crusted in about 13mm of sleet. I looked at the windshield to find it shockingly bone dry apart from a few droplets that had come in under the canopy while I was putting gas in. I cleaned the radar housing off, dried it and then hit it with a little bit of the ceramic quick detailer I had in the car and had zero trouble the rest of the way.
I honestly believe that with how effective these coatings are becoming, if someone was able to coat only one thing they should always always coat the glass first. As detailers it's something we can do that not only makes it easier to keep the vehicle clean, but we're actually helping to protect the customer and their passengers and actually keeping them safer. Since then I always always try to convince the client to get at least the glass coated if nothing else, and if they don't want to I do everything I can to at least make it somewhat hydrophobic in the short term by using products that have at least a small bit of protection built in (I actually really like Armor All's ceramic glass cleaner but it can be a pain to remove it you're not using a clean towel that has zero linting).
Anyway sorry for the long comment but I believe in showing this technology you're going to end up protecting people at some point in the line. I think as detailers recommending a glass coating is something we should always be doing and that we start viewing it as a safety factor. Just like if we noticed any mechanical issues when detailing, it's something I now feel a personal duty to speak about it with the customer.
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Once again great video Pan. Cant say how impressive your content is all of us really appreciate it.

Notice the huge difference in clarity between treated and the control. With the treated you can see through the glass, the garage lights are sharp while the control is blurred and vision is limited to the windshield.
My question is how do they perform when wipers are required? As usual, another great video!
Good point! Yeah the difference is even more striking in person when driving in a thunderstorm or heavy rain. We had a pretty crazy rainfall in the past days and it was so fun driving my girlfriend's vehicle with the Glaco coatings.
And I can also confirm all three coatings work well even when wipers are required. No wiper judder. Of course I prepped the glass well prior to application, which is key for any glass coating to work well, as shown in the video.

Pan interesting products. Regarding the mirror one, perhaps if you had the angle of the rearview mirror turned such that the camera could actually see the reflecting of the spray it would have helped with the viewing effect.
Thanks for the video Pan. I used Glaco in Mumbai , India this Monsoon and within a month of use I will say it is amazing product. Although initially there were hazes on the wiper blade and in light rain wipers used to jutter in return stroke as it cleans all the water in first swipe, so while returning stroke no water left on glass.
I found one solution myself that if I clean my glass with normal household glass cleaner not containing any alcohol it gives some smoothness to glass and wiper blade which removes wiper juttering problem.
In conditions like Mumbai where on highway fine road grime accumulates on windshield from other vehicles backsplash of water, in this scenario use a windshield cleaner to remove grime.
Overall quite impressed with one and half month use. Hopefully it will last entire monsoon season .
Thanks
Tanks for sharing your personal experience with it.
That side mirror coating looks awfully impressive.
Great review! I wonder if I’m alone on this but I prefer the no coating section. To me that section has the clearest view out of the cabin. The “mist” of small water beads seems to reduce visibility compared to the sheet of water on the control section.
When driving in the rain, the wind helps blow off that water way quicker on a coated windshield. You can’t even compare. Once you get a proper glass coating, you can’t live without it.
Thanks again Pan for this video. I have Ceramic Pro Rain on my Glass from when i got my Ceramic Coating applied and it still seems to hold up but i am really thinking of trying these products especially for side mirrors
Thanks
Great video Pan. At 1st i thought this was about glass coating on the paint work like Modesta. I’ve gotta apply this Glaco on my football jersey. Wish i could have seen you do this years Gum Ball 3000 from Toronto to Miami.

Glaco compound and super wiper using. Great product
Hey Pan, thanks as always your channel is my go to for information and product knowledge, tips and tricks. I’m nervous the compound may scratch or marr my glass. I watched the demo do I have nothing to worry about?
Zero worries. Glass is actually much harder than paint, and you can polish your paint using compounds and polishes. This glass polish was designed for glass. If it scratched, nobody would use it. ;)
C'est vraiment cool ce produit là. Avec ton blower, tu aurais pu simuler la conduite pour montrer comment l'eau disparait rapidement en conduisant. :) Je vais surement m'en commander.

Perfect Produkt. I'm using it now for 3 years. There is on fail in yours steps, Pan. Manual says ->
wipe off all remaining liquids with a slightly damp towel or microfiber for best results.
Finish the process by polishing the glass' surface with a dry, clean towel or microfiber.
this is needed to prevent ghosting.
LOL It's not a 'fail'. I wish you asked why, instead of saying that. The reason is quite simple. After talking with Soft99 Europe experts, they recommended using a dry towel to wipe off. And it works for me. But yes the actual instructions on the website say to use a slightly damp towel, that also works. Don't overthink the moment.

For your headlights, the glass sealants aren’t the solution. Go for the same paint protection you use for your paint: a wax, sealant or ceramic coating.
Great review and information Pan. I currently have Invisible Glass ceramic on my car now. As you have reviewed it is superr easy to apply. The downside is durability and it probably only lasts 3-4 months. I am ready to apply a new coating so afterr your reviews and Awards video I chose to go with Glaco. The amazon link was 3-4 weeks to ship, so I went with your Canadian link with Carzilla and ordered enough products to get free shipping. Guess the new version of Fusso Coat is only available in the EU market. Trying the mirror coat zero as well. Thanks again for all the info.
Yeah I did an update on the Invisible Glass Coating and we saw 4-5 months so I was also disappointed with its long term durability. But Ultra Glaco in my conditions has always lasted 10-12 months. It's still my top recommended DIY glass coating for sure.
Loved using this product in Okinawa, it worked great at the lower speed (50-80 KPH) we drove over there. Once I got the car back to the States, it was even a more effective product at the higher speeds.

Guess I'll try the Stoner brand . I rarely drive the interstate. Great content as usual Pan
I prefer the Soft99 Ultra Glaco by a long shot. Stoner didn’t do quite well in my long term testing. Here’s the update video: ruclips.net/video/dQvvrim3Rr0/видео.htmlsi=Sv61iD_8-1mHepBl
Very informative thanks. One thing I do not understand is if I can use the Compound Roll On to prepare for Roll On Max on a windshield that has been cleaned with a simple shamppo and still has some bug marks on it. Just a side note, you links to buy for Europe are in the UK. After Brexit buying online from Europe to the UK has become a pain in the nethers :)
Pan, I had a bad experience with RAIN-X back in the 80's. It worked beautifully most of the time but in the spring, when my un-garaged vehicle sat outside, a coat of pollen would settle on the windshield. Most of the pollen could be brushed away dry by the wipers but when I activated the washer fluid the RAIN-X repelled the liquid, as it should, but turned the remaining pollen into a smeared mess.
Yeah the technology has evolved a lot since then.
In my humble opinion, the UltraGlaco is the best (consumer) glass coating out there. Have been using it a very long time.
How long does it last for you on average?
@@PanTheOrganizer I think I average 6 months on the front windshield. The side windows last sometimes to one year!
Pan, I love this video! I ordered the compound, the Ultra Glaco and the Miracle Zero. Just put them on today and we will see! The compound didn't look thick and white like yours did as it was more of a chalky brownish gray color and a lot more watery. When I rinsed it off even though I did cross hatch the entire windshield there were spots and around the edges that were still beading up. I hit those spots a couple of times more with the compound until there was no beading. Hard to get dry after that! But everything else went on smoothly and the Ultra Glaco buffed out nice and it looks great (curing for the 12 hours now). The miracle zero spray was easy to apply.
One question on a different subject. I used Adam's Graphene Advanced coating on my car. I still have some Mequire's Detail Spray that I love from my old car (removed the water spots and really shined up the car). Can I use the rest of what I have up or keep using that on the graphene coating or should I be using the Adam's Graphene Detail Spray instead after washing the car? Thanks for all your videos!!
You can use that Meguiar’s spray although it’s not the best for your coating. Technology has evolved quite a bit.
Also, keep in mind that detailing chemicals are only typically good for 1-2 years if kept in stable conditions and never frozen.

Bonjour Pan,
cool ta vidéo!
As-tu une préférence entre le Glaco Ultra et le Aquapel?
Merci!
Glaco Ultra pour la durabilité.
Getting my cars ready for Midwest winters. Hope this helps.
Pan, I think I might order this product tonight. It still blows my mind that you drive your Porsche in the winter.
Hehe. Car are meant to be enjoyed and driven. And I take so much care of it, nobody can tell it has been through winter. ;)
@@PanTheOrganizer that is awesome!!!!
Placed an order for Cleaner, repellent, and Mirror one as well. thx for info , Quote from 50 cent "Nobody does me like me" "Nobody Does PAN like Pan! "
😁👍🏻
Please do soft99 black black and rim coating too! 😄
Love the demonstrations... apart from windshields, can this coating be used for bathroom shower doors and glass?
Yes
Another question is whether these need to be applied over or under a certain temperature? I could see me applying this to my winter car and would have to re-apply through the winter. Wondering if the cold would cause an issue. 🤔. Thanks again for another great review.
For coatings in general, it's best to apply in temperatures 15 to 25 Celsius. I wouldn't go below 10C for sure.
Might just have to try one of these, Pan. I’ve only just used whatever silica/glass sealant I have on hand on the glass and works pretty well.
P.S. I did pass my final exam last week!
Congrats!
Hi Pan! I was wondering if you've ever tried Aquapel and, if so, how it would compare to the Ultra glaco in terms of hydrophobic properties and durability as well? I cannot seem to find any detailed comparison between the two for durability. Thanks in advance and I love your content. Really enjoyable, useful and informative. 🙂
Aquapel is very good but only typically lasts 4-6 months. Ultra Glaco is my top ranked DIY glass specific coating and lasts 10-12 months in my conditions.
I made a 10 month update here: ruclips.net/video/JYQjoLvO_Mo/видео.htmlsi=gytf-oOSQj23p7cL
The products look good at repelling water, but I would like to see how they repel the accumulation of dirt. I think you should add the dirt accumulation test to your videos. A product that repels water and dirt would be the better product.
Looks like a great product.
Would I be able to use Megs glass cleaner for routine cleaning?
Great video
You can use any automotive glass cleaner with this.
Hello Pan! Thanks for the awesome video! Do you think this is better than using a ceramic coating on your glass?
I prefer surface specific coatings when possible so yes I prefer a glass coating on glass.
Awesome video and product review/tutorial good friend. Hoping it's as great as original fusso wax.def need updates.b well good friend
Thanks for watching!
Ultra Glaco ftw for me. Easy to apply, easy to wipe off with damp towel and final buff with soft dry towel. No streak and durable water repellency
Thanks for sharing Thomas! How did you discover my channel?
If the one for the side mirror works so well, why don't they have it for the front windshield? And what is the procedure for reapplication after 2 months?
Glaco Ultra is the best product i've ever used. I've only had one application and I live in tropical Malaysia where it either rains alot or its super hot. My coating is still working like new 7 months since I applied it.

Looks really good I wonder how it compares to the gyeon roll on glass coating need to try this.
I liked the Gyeon version as far as the product went, but the applicator itself was a fail, as the liquid drips into the lid when it's closed, and you lose a lot if you're not prepared for a puddle of it when you pick it up and unscrew it. You can't store it upside-down because the base end is on a weird angle. By the time I figured out how to store it, (Stand it upside down in a 14oz plastic Solo Beer cup) I'd lost at least a car's worth of product.
Awesome video as always. Performance on all three quadrants were equally impressive. Gyeon’s Quick View Q2 performance is also impressive with the same application process. Mirrors on all my cars are heated. ☹️
I just bought this Quick View. Is it good? Longevity?
QuickView is excellent and can last upwards of 3 months.
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks Pan👍
Pan again great video. Just a quick question!
I’ve noticed with some products the rubber from the wipers tend to stick on the windshield after time. Have you had time to see if this product does the same?
I use it 2 years now. No problems at all. Great stuff. To buff off it is uch better and easier to use a slightly damp towel
I haven't had that experience.
Hi, small question hope you don't mind! I'm using beadmaker as sealant for my paint and use it every wash as a drying agent. But I'm planning to seal my windshield with Clearvue From Turtle wax, a specific glass sealent. My question is, during maintenance washes, will the beadmaker used as a drying agent interfere with the windshield sealent? If it does, do I need to avoid beadmaker from touching the windshield and dry the windshield with a seperate towel and seperate drying agent? If so, then I wonder what drying agent should be used. Thanks a lot Pan, I've learned so much in such a short time from this channel
Great, thank's

Yes it will
Pan, thank you for the clear and informative videos. These look like great products, and you explain the product characteristics and application technique very clearly. I have two questions for you. Do you know of a water repellent product that is OK to use on heated mirrors? Do you know if the Glaco and CarPro Flyby Forte V4 products contain PFAS or PFOS substances? Thank you for the time and effort required to make these great videos.
Thanks Ian. I don’t coat the side mirrors typically so I haven’t looked into that.

@@PanTheOrganizer I was searching for windshield coatings, and that is how I found several of your informative videos.
Do you know if the Glaco products you used in this video contain PFAS or PFOS substances? I did not receive any reply from the email address for Soft99usa when I requested information on these 'forever chemical' substances that are in many products, and are harmful to humans in large concentrations.
We should all follow your example of wearing gloves when applying these chemicals.
Thanks!
I don’t have that info unfortunately. But yes I always wear gloves when manipulating chemicals. (I have a background of studies from the medicine facilty in university more specifically in biochemistry and molecular biology, so in a lab environment we always wear protective gear).
