    I did roller derby for a very short while. And I didn’t pay attention to much of the skate wheel/bearing changing. Or a lot of skate advice. So it is much appreciated to have you explain so kind and have a little swearing 😁 Just makes me feel like I’m listening to a friend 😊 So, thank you

    Skated as a kid. Then life happened. Now I’m returning as a 40+ empty nester enjoying my life. Just bought some Impala Skates and wanted to use the Pulse glitter wheels 78A for outdoor skating. They didn’t come with anything but the wheels. I freaked out because I didn’t know what to do next. Your video made the whole process wayyyy less intimidating. Thank you. Now I need bearings! I'd love if you did a video on bearings in general. I feel they aren't talked about enough. Everyone recommends Bones bearings for beginners (because it's the most well known) but I'd love someone to do a review of their favorite bearings and why. And if you need to get ceramic, or if it's actually worth it.

    Hi!!! I just bought my son the new bounce in-line 2 in 1 convertible skates but I don’t know how to change them from having the wheels all in a single row to having 2 of them side by side in the back and one in the front so it’s easier for my son to balance on them. Please help!!! I can’t find ANYTHING on how to do it!!

  • @lynnlynn9124

    Another YT channel mentioned that the bearing should go in a particular direction. My bearings look identical on both sides. Is there a certain way they at supposed to go in i.e. inside vs outside? Great vid!! I will shop for the nut protectors tonight. I've not seen them in any other vids. You should link in description, so that you possibly may get some rewards. My pup and I thank you bc he can run faster, since I can keep up with him now that I have new bearings.

    • @aihpossum
      @aihpossum 3 года назад +1

      Usually the rubber/plastic side goes towards the inside of the wheel if you have bearings that can be taken apart and the coloured or solid metal side to the outside of the wheel (that’s the side where it says something like he brand or abec or whatever on it), because that’s the side with less gaps so the dirt can’t get inside as easily
      Hope that makes sense? :)

    • @lynnlynn9124
      @lynnlynn9124 3 года назад

      @@aihpossum it turns out that my original bearings were super cheap and did not come apart for cleaning, which is why they were identical on both sides. I now have nicer ones, but thank you! Pup and I are about to get our jackets and go skating.

    So many questions...
    Why 2 different kinds of wheels front/back? What's that white thing between the wheels. Most of all, when and WHY change bearings and wheels?🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @Thevolleyballfreak34
      @Thevolleyballfreak34 4 года назад +4

      The white thing in the middle of the plate is a slide block, they help if you want to slide/grind at the skate park. Depending on how hard or how much you skate you can change or clean your bearings every couple of months. They just roll better and smoother when they are fresh and clean. I hope this helps a little? :)
