    Hi Christina, thanks for the video. I was just speaking with Canva about using stand alone images from elements. They told me that placing a frame or border around the image does not make it a unique design and it is still considered to be stand alone. It's not original enough to make it a unique design you created. I wanted to verify this as I noticed so many items on Etsy done this way.

    Thank you, Christina! Really benefit from these videos, especially when you go slow through the settings page and are so thorough! These are all details that can hold us up for weeks! Quick question on your comment to “put in Teelaunch so people know.“ Where is this disclosed in Etsy and why is it important? I thought I’ve heard that we don’t want to disclose we are using a provider (except where Etsy needs to know which provider, of course) it to the customer. Which brings up the question: Do customers just understand most people are using a third party? A bit confused about this.

    • @c.u.online

      Hey Donna! Thank you so much. You must put in your Etsy listing "made by someone else" and then add a production partner and write something along the lines "helps me print and ship my products".
      If someone reports you to etsy because you claimed you made these by hand and dont have a production partner selected then you could be shut down.
      Your production partners will be listed at the bottom of your shop but it isnt obvious!
      I have told people that I use suppliers to help and theyve been ok with it :) but your production partner should be in the same country your storefront says its from otherwise then customers may get angry

    I have some original ballpoint line art that I have inherited. It was drawn in the 50’s and 60’s by a Dutch artist. I scanned some of the art and now want to sell as prints. I have more than 100 pieces. I like the uniqueness of creating metal art, but it seems like you don’t think a thin line will work. I never thought that would be a problem.

    How do you mount these products? I contacted Tee Launch and they really didnt give me much to go on. I know I can cut out screw holes, but it's hard to know exactly what size I am making for the hole when I'm designing on a computer, I know what a 1/4" hole is with a drill bit, but I dont' know how to get that when Im doing a 3600x 3600px file, I'm just guessing. But most of these are sold without pre cut holes. A smaller piece can be mounted with double sided tape on drywall, but that wont work outdoors or on bigger pieces. I suppose they can be glued to a surface, but that's not always a good option. Anyone have a good solution?

    HI, I want to add the metal art to my shop, but when I saw there is no way to hang them, I am concerned about bad reviews. From what I understand, the buyer will get a flat piece of metal with no spot for a hook or screw. I asked about adding holes for screws or hanging on a hook, but did not get much of an answer except to be careful about the size changing with the size of metal being used. I know it say no hanging equipment is sent with the order, but how is the buyer expected to hang their purchase? It is even worse with the teelaunch mocks showing house numbers in brick walls which would be very hard to hang. How do you address this and have you gotten bad reviews? Thanks.

    Does Teelaunch provide screws of some sort? Or does the customer have to buy them separately?

      they have to hang them themselves :( but no customer ever had an issue when I told them that they easily rest on nails

    I'm out. I feel so defeated.
    7:53 just killed my drive. I'm not even half that. 12 inches is just not too big and flimsy.
    Thanks for the Tutorial though. *thumbs up*

    Why are you only using Etsy to link for selling. Would it not be better to at the same time name other places to sell the Metal Wall Art or any other product?

    • @c.u.online
      @c.u.online  Год назад

      Because Etsy drives me all my traffic for free. If I had my own website I’d have to spend a lot of money and time marketing it which I don’t have

      @@c.u.online understand but Etsy is not for everyone. There are others that also drive traffic, are free and one can get sales. Thanks for your response but it seems that everyone doing and placing videos are just after Etsy and other places. I will still watch your videos

    Isn't it deceiving to have a metal print like that that's clearly not to scale? If someone saw your canva mockup of the bike and ordered it, just to receive a smaller size, wouldn't they want a refund or leave a bad review?

  • @brianrychetsky2377
    @brianrychetsky2377 Год назад +1

    I can’t believe anyone would pay that price for such a simplistic square sign. If you go to some metal art stores you can get a hand crafted 30” 3D school of fish for $220 that includes 8 fish in the art piece. Somebody is really going to pay you $190 for a 36” square piece of basic clip art that took about 45 seconds for someone to cut out on a plasma table and spray painted black….I doubt it. If they are we need to take a look at what our school system is churning out.

      well you can tell that to the people that do order them lol. i sell them and there are buyers. This design was an example.

      Of course people pay this amount. Especially if it's custom (putting a name under the bike, for example).
