I paint acrylic portraits of people and animals In the 80''s I did a portrait of Muhammad Ali and I got the great opportunity to have him come to my house to see it! He said it was beautiful with a twinkle in his eyes, I am sure he was talking about himself! I can do watercolor work, like English castles and scenery. I do pastels, pen and ink (I'm the pen and ink Queen as that's how we used to do "finished art" back in the days before computers!!! So I am creating tattoos for an online tattoo site! I get paid when someone one picks one of my designs! This year, ('23), I will make more money than in all the years before this!!!

How is it not already? With over 1 million listings on Etsy for metal art. Is there something that isn't completely saturated? Real question. I like the custom shap cushions but the delivery fee is more than the cost of the pillow if you get the small one. It's not practical to start there.
When you said "put some utility in your metal POD signs" I immediately thought of making a personalized anchor sign and include 3M hooks to hang your car keys on LOL I have been thinking of doing those canvas signs for a long long time, I have almost 100 original designs laid out. I think I need to start!

hi Joe - always super content. so for the Teelaunch metal signs, do your customers ask you how to mount/attach them to various surfaces? i notice that the samples do not have pre-drilled holes but some on other non-Etsy looking sites do. wondering how you have handled customer inquiries. also seems as if the non-Etsy type stores might drill the holes before sending off to the customer? thank you!

I have been looking for metal wall signs that you actually print your design on. I see them all over Pinterest with kind of a rustic distressed look. I had an idea I wanted to try on them. I haven’t seen you do a review on this type of item.
I don’t really know what you mean, what I showed in this video is all I know of that exists with POD
@@RealJoeRobert it is a rectangle shape with your design/art printed on it. It is made of metal. Not sure if that makes sense.
A POD company called Merchize has them. It is called a decorative metal sign.

I have a shopify store and I have a personalization app that works well. But ETSY is flooded with people selling EVERYTHING,CHEAP! And offering personalization as well.
Plus many people buy from ETSY as they feel more 'secure' with a well known platform.
Unique designs not found on ETSY for a Shopify store are a must to compete.

Hi Joe. Question please: Where can I get the designs created for me for the metal signs please?
Lern to create designs yourself using photoshop. With little commitment and learning the basics from youtube tutorials I think you can start creating designs by yourself after 1-3 months. If you can't or don't have the time or simply don't want to, either hire a designer or find an AI software to create designs for you.
I'm unclear... if you use teelaunch is the finished product shipped to you and then you ship it to the customer? Or, does teelaunch ship directly to the customer?

I can't find an answer to ONE question. I want to sell non digital wall art on etsy. I want to sell the design and have it sent directly to a printing company and they ship it. All youtube video is about digital wall print. Any help please?!

@@RealJoeRobert I didn't sign up with them yet but I know many POD providers require payment not connected to your etsy payment from your customers.
I see you have a tee launch metal art. I downloaded the template and noticed that one needs to have a font that the letters are 'connected'.
What font did you use for that? Thanks. (Edit: NM I found a nice one in my photoshop default fonts.)

How do you get around copyright/trademark infringement as in the Parker Bros. MONOPOLY character depiction/artwork?
I’m not a lawyer. With that said. Hahahaha he can use it here because he’s trying to teach people so i would imagine the “Fair Use” law comes into affect. I would believe if he tried to sell it online and someone from Hasbro (acquired from Parker Brothers, just fyi) saw it being sold with out permission, He could be sued. There’s also using it as a parody, which is legal so he possibly could get away with it in that manner. Family guy has been sued a few times but under the parody law they’ve won. My suggestion, when in doubt go talk to a lawyer. 😉
Oh also at 10:16 he explains that the store Ikonick is partnered with licensers to sell that kind of stuff. I didn’t make it far enough to see that as well. Hahahahaha
