    Hey, great video, thanks for that. I have one question: Do you add bleed at the edges (3mm for example)? I am not sure about that, becaus, if the customer print it at home, he will use the right paper, so the bleed dont will be cut of and the print looks strange and not like it suposed to be. But if you dont ad the bleed and he goes to a printshop (or an online printshop) they will maybe cut of a bit of the design, and when there is no bleed, they will cut of the real design. I am not sure, if I should upload the regualr sized artwork or with an added bleed...

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Год назад +1

      That is a great point that I honestly didn't think of before creating this tutorial! You could always upload both and let the customer know in the FAQ document that there is a file with the bleed and another file without it. Hope this helps!

    • @adrewbateman1760
      @adrewbateman1760 Год назад +1

      When selling printable art, it's important to know the difference between RGB and CMYK color modes and when to use each one.
      RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is a color model used for displaying images on electronic devices, such as computer monitors, televisions, and smartphones. RGB uses a combination of red, green, and blue light to create a wide range of colors.
      CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black) is a color model used for printing. Unlike RGB, which adds light to create color, CMYK subtracts color to create various shades. This process is called "subtractive color," and is used in the four-color printing process.
      When selling printable art, it's important to provide a CMYK version of the artwork in addition to an RGB version. This is because printers and monitors use different color models, and RGB artwork may look different when printed. By providing a CMYK version, you can ensure that your artwork will be accurately represented when printed.
      It's also a good idea to provide a high-resolution version of your artwork, in both RGB and CMYK, to ensure that it looks good when printed at a large size. If your artwork is intended for digital use only, then you can provide only an RGB version.

    Hehehe love your vibe ❤ and thanks for this tut…I was told we have to upload an image of at least 300dpi CYMK to ensure the design prints good. Is that true? If yes, how do you make sure that it is 300dpi CMYK with the elements you get from Canva and Creative Fabrica? Appreciate your advice.

    • @DoingDigitalWithMegan
      @DoingDigitalWithMegan  Год назад +1

      Thank you, I appreciate your feedback so much 💜 so I may be wrong here but I'm pretty sure anytime you download your design as a PDF print document, it's automatically 300 dpi. You don't have to worry about the elements being 300 dpi since the design itself will be high quality when you download it. Hope this helps!

    • @andersdroid
