Hi, just a question: when you share the link, the client will go into Canva but they will see the profile it's shared from, correct? If you want to 'protect' your name, you should change it to something else if I am not mistaken? Thanks so far for the help!
super helpfull video! so for one listing you end up with all this files: Printable original PNG background template JPG complete invite Digital Original (for phone) PNG Background (for phone) Template phone JPG complete invite for phone at least 4 mockups at lease 2 more with instructions ALL THIS JUST FOR ONE LISTING! OMG
Since I'm new to creating an editable template on Canva. What should a Thank you card have on it? What are the instructions for the person purchasing? Where do you find an example?
Thank you very much Lauren!! This video is the best I’ve seen so far explaining digital print, editable, and mobile. I am just learning Canva and this really helps. I appreciate all the work you’ve put into this! 🥰
Hi, Im using Pro Canva. Can I use the images from canva library design the background download it as a jpeg then make a new page and use the jpeg i use as a new background so if i sell the template to etsy the canva will not require my costumer to become a pro?
When someone opens the link, can they also still add in other graphics of their liking? I’m finding once they open the link, they can add other stuff still. How do I make it to where they just edit the wording?
If you’re referring to them not being able to modify your original design you need to give them a ‘template link’. Otherwise they will always be able to add in extra things they want in Canva you wouldn’t be able to limit them to only editing text. Hope that helps! 🙂
So you said at the end of the video, after you have already linked the 5x7 version to the thank you pdf, that we just have to link the mobile version to the thank you pdf. How do I do that considering it only takes one link at a time???
The mobile version design will have it’s own separate link, so grab that link and paste it into the PDF file with the printable version link also. You can have as many links as you want in your PDF file which is great if you sell a bundle of templates 😊 You would need to add a new ‘text’ box into the PDF file, insert the name of your design then link the mobile design link to that. I hope that all makes sense!! 💜
My customers when they click on the template link is emailing me to confirm them permission to edit. I end up having to create a new link and email it to them. I am not sure what is wrong
Do you recommend doing Invitations where only the Text is editable and not the graphics? I see on Etsy, most people selling Invitations that are fully editable (graphics, text, font, color) except the size of the template. What do you recommend. In this video you show that only the text is editable. Thanks
if I am making more than one page that needs to be edited can I add more than one link to the same pdf Im also a little confused about the pdf, are you just saving as a pdf i'm very very new. lol
Yes you can add as many links to your PDF. I do this when I sell a bundle of templates in one listing 😊. And yes you just save the file as PDF ‘standard’.
Also, should I offer to customers the 5x7 invitation transferred to a 8.5X11? This is for people who want to print on regular size. Or, should I just offer the 5x7 and suggest to them to print on 5x7? Thanks
Hi, thank you for your video! Would like to know if buyers who access the template link are able to see the flattened image as the background as shown in your video, if they are using the canva free account - as the flattened image is not in the canva free library.
Hmm I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I get sales on my invitational all the time, but when a person goes in and uses the template, it doesn’t revert back.
Make sure you are only sharing a template link to your design with your customers. They shouldn’t be editing your original design. Did you share a template link?
Thanks for the video it was very helpful! I'm wondering if I upload a specific font to Canva and use it in the template, would customers be able to use that same font?
Hi, No a canva pro account is not required! As long as you only use free elements and fonts in your invites you will be fine with just a free account 😊
Hi 😊 you should have no issues if you are sharing a ‘template link’ with your customers. Sounds like you may be sharing a ‘view only link’. It can get confusing because there are many links you can share!
If you sign up for a monthly subscription you should have access to most of the graphics, fonts, craft files ect on their website. They have different plans to choose from 😊
Hi thank you. I appreciate the work you put into the videos they have helped. Can you do a video on how you made the digital mobile invitation? or how you do different mocks up and adjust the pictures?
You’re welcome! No there is no page 2, should only be one page design. You will need to make a separate PDF file, and add the link to the template design to that PDF 😊
I sell some digital invites on Etsy and what I’ve been having a problem with is when someone buys the same digital invitation when they go edit they can see the previous person edit how can you avoid this
Ok, so you need to make sure you are sharing a ‘template link’ with your customers. This link ensures that your original design does not get changed which can end up messy for your customers!! The template link will give them a copy of your original design. Hope that helps 😊
Hey I’m having an issue with the the upload I have downloaded as png and on high res but when upload to page as background it’s a little blurry and not as crisp as the original image …. Please help
Delete the other pages you don’t need then get the template link. You only want to have the invite which should be one page in the design. Hope that helps 😊
Hello 😊 No, havnt had that issue. I just make sure when I download the background it’s in PNG high quality format. I have also printed out and the quality is still really good!
Hey has this issue been fixed I’m also in the same situation … I’ve tried everything and my background image when uploaded is still blurry even have tried of different device .

Thank you so much for sharing. Really enjoyed your video.

Yes they will see the name under your account so just change it to protect your name
super helpfull video! so for one listing you end up with all this files:

Yes!! Great way to put it 😃
Since I'm new to creating an editable template on Canva. What should a Thank you card have on it? What are the instructions for the person purchasing? Where do you find an example?
Where are the headings and subheadings now? Mine seem to be missing from the left side 😮
That’s strange! Maybe refresh log in and out?
Is it possible to sell canva templates or printables that use photos from Canva's free photo library? Thank you!
Yes absolutely! All my templates and digital products use free photos and images from the Canva library 😊
Thank you very much Lauren!! This video is the best I’ve seen so far explaining digital print, editable, and mobile. I am just learning Canva and this really helps. I appreciate all the work you’ve put into this! 🥰
Thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear how helpful it was 😊

Hi, I know some people do it this way but I believe it goes against Canva’s licensing terms, I personally wouldn’t recommend doing it this way 😊
Thank you for teaching me! You explained very well and clearly. 🌟
You’re welcome Carla! 💖
When you say copy link into pdf thank you.Is the pdf created in canva or adobe?
I create all my PDF’s in Canva 😊
When someone opens the link, can they also still add in other graphics of their liking?
I’m finding once they open the link, they can add other stuff still. How do I make it to where they just edit the wording?

You’re welcome ☺️
I love this thank you, how would you do this for large canvas like 36” x 24” without comprising the 300dpi images/ creative Fabrica items?
I haven’t myself printed this large before but I would suggest making sure the final design is printed in 300dpi to ensure best quality 😊
So you said at the end of the video, after you have already linked the 5x7 version to the thank you pdf, that we just have to link the mobile version to the thank you pdf. How do I do that considering it only takes one link at a time???

If I have my background uploaded as a pdf will it print in bad quality?
I don’t think you would be able to upload a pdf image to use as a background in Canva
Super informative. Watched another video and it didn’t explain how to make graphics non editable. Came here and found the answer instantly. Thank you.
You’re welcome! Great to hear 😊
My customers when they click on the template link is emailing me to confirm them permission to edit. I end up having to create a new link and email it to them. I am not sure what is wrong
It’s a common mistake to share the wrong type of link, make sure it is the actual ‘template link’. That will prevent this from happening 😊
Do you recommend doing Invitations where only the Text is editable and not the graphics? I see on Etsy, most people selling Invitations that are fully editable (graphics, text, font, color) except the size of the template. What do you recommend. In this video you show that only the text is editable. Thanks
It’s totally up to you whether you want to have everything or only the text editable.
The graphics used in these were not editable 🙂
if I am making more than one page that needs to be edited can I add more than one link to the same pdf Im also a little confused about the pdf, are you just saving as a pdf i'm very very new. lol

I suggest to keep things simple not to overwhelm the customer- so yes suggest 5x7 and to also print this size. Hope that helps 💜
Hey when I send the template link it shares all my pages and not just the one page how do I fix this so only one page is seen
Hi 😊 delete all the other pages that are not part of the main template.
Hi, thank you for your video! Would like to know if buyers who access the template link are able to see the flattened image as the background as shown in your video, if they are using the canva free account - as the flattened image is not in the canva free library.
Yes they will see it but won’t be able to make changes to the flattened image 😊
@@laurenkeys.official Thanks Lauren 🙂

Thank you so much! This helped me a lot, God bless.
Glad it helped 😊
Thanks for the video it was very helpful! I'm wondering if I upload a specific font to Canva and use it in the template, would customers be able to use that same font?
Yes it will work for them, just make sure you read the license for fonts you purchase that they are allowed to be used in templates 😊
Hi Lauren,
Just wondering if it is best to print the invitations, on 5x7 cards instead of using 8.5x11 card stock and them trimming them?
Thanks.
Hi There,
It’s probably easier to stick with 5x7, but it you want to trim you can also do that 🙂
Thank you for this, truly appreciate it.
You’re welcome ☺️
Hi Lauren can these templates be used on Creative Fabrica?
Hello yes you can sell these templates on creative Fabrica 😊
Do you need canva pro to sell editable invites? Thanks :)
Hi, No a canva pro account is not required! As long as you only use free elements and fonts in your invites you will be fine with just a free account 😊
Have you had issues with the template links? I haven’t been able to get mine to open editable just to view and there have been no changes.
Hi 😊 you should have no issues if you are sharing a ‘template link’ with your customers. Sounds like you may be sharing a ‘view only link’. It can get confusing because there are many links you can share!
If i purchase creative fabrica, I still have to buy patterns correct?
If you sign up for a monthly subscription you should have access to most of the graphics, fonts, craft files ect on their website. They have different plans to choose from 😊
Why don’t you just copy
And resize to cellphone size?
Hi thank you. I appreciate the work you put into the videos they have helped. Can you do a video on how you made the digital mobile invitation? or how you do different mocks up and adjust the pictures?
Hello 😊, thank you. Yes I will be doing a video on creating the mock-up images for your Etsy listings so stay tuned 💜
Thank you! 😃💞@@laurenkeys.official
THank you! So are you adding the thank you page as page 2 of this? So they get both when they buy?
You’re welcome! No there is no page 2, should only be one page design. You will need to make a separate PDF file, and add the link to the template design to that PDF 😊
Is it possible to sell other's people work on Canva and sell it on Etsy?
Do you mean selling the templates that are already made in the Canva library? If so, no you can't sell those.
I sell some digital invites on Etsy and what I’ve been having a problem with is when someone buys the same digital invitation when they go edit they can see the previous person edit how can you avoid this
Nvm i saw your whole video and i now know where I went wrong
Ok, so you need to make sure you are sharing a ‘template link’ with your customers. This link ensures that your original design does not get changed which can end up messy for your customers!!
The template link will give them a copy of your original design. Hope that helps 😊
Hey I’m having an issue with the the upload I have downloaded as png and on high res but when upload to page as background it’s a little blurry and not as crisp as the original image …. Please help
When I make the link it opens up all of the pages I’ve been working on instead of just the invite
Delete the other pages you don’t need then get the template link. You only want to have the invite which should be one page in the design.
Hope that helps 😊
Thank you that was the fix. I think I got confused because in your video you say to add pages to save your work but I get it now. Thank you again
Great to hear and you’re welcome ☺️
Can we use Canva as a logo in the listing photo?
No, unfortunately you are not allowed to use the Canva logo in your listing images for selling templates.
Please tell me how to convert a card to a mobile size on Canva automatically without copying.
ok, I could resize.
So when click upload I can find my download template
I’m not sure what you mean?
@@laurenkeys.official when I save my download as png and try to upload it I can’t find it
It will have saved to your download folders on your device or computer, then you upload in into your canva account
Thanks a lot for this! Very helpful indeed!
You’re welcome! 😊
Super helpful. Thank you !
You’re welcome 💜💜
I learned that if I use pro graphics buyers couldn't download the template unless they are using pro account too.
Yes this is true! Always use free graphics in all your templates 😊
@@laurenkeys.official if i download the pro graphics as a photo ang uploaded again to use as background, can buyers use it without pro account?
Unfortunately I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be allowed to do that in Canva’s licence agreement.
Hi, thanks for the video. Do you find that when you download the background then reupload to the canvas, the quality is not as sharp?
Hello 😊
No, havnt had that issue. I just make sure when I download the background it’s in PNG high quality format.
I have also printed out and the quality is still really good!
Hey has this issue been fixed I’m also in the same situation … I’ve tried everything and my background image when uploaded is still blurry even have tried of different device .
