    I would say this course is a must have if you want to fast track yourself with 3D modelling theory (applicable to any 3D application). I followed along in Blender and there was nothing that I couldn't do there, that you could do in Maya. You do have to do some things differently, but in the end it helped me expand my knowledge of tools and methods of 3D modelling within different 3D software.
    As far as 3D modelling theory goes like topology and edge flow etc... Mario explains things in a way that is easy to understand and provides assignments as stepping stones to help you create your own complex 3D models.
    Mario is also a great mentor and is very responsive when it comes to feedback and help. He is very patient and always willing to help.
    I recommend this course to everyone I know who wants to get serious about 3D modelling.

      From what I've seen so far, you'll be able to follow in blender too as long as you know the basic tools. We do have many blender users in our group, so even in the case you get stuck, there is always help available. But again, if you can navigate blender well enough ( move, slide, duplicate, group objects, work with splines) you should not have any problems following along.

    I just want to thank you for all the videos you made free for us. I have seen many other videos about sub-d modeling, much i have got from them as well, but your gave us such brilliant knowledge of topology and, much more valuable, you made them so easy to understand. Short, precise and clear. For me, subD modelling is really hard, especially cylinders and spheres, i barely can handle adding details to them, but after watching just couple of your videos i got so many answers for my old scary problems. Hope one day i can handle cylinders and spheres easily.
    Your work is stunning, thank you for all you do for us.

    I see you using maya 2019 ? If i have the latest version, is there a significant difference in ui or shortcuts? Cause that would make it hard to follow in that case. Would this also be a good introduction course for maya or is it meant for modelling only ?

    • @Elementza
      @Elementza  2 года назад +1

      If you're a complete beginner we'll start with introduction to all the modeling tools we'll use in great detail. Then we move to topology, simple objects all the way to complex ones and more. This is a linear training, we start from zero and increase difficulty slowly as we move forward. Latest version of maya is perfectly fine and it has the same tools as 2019 version so no worries there. This is primarily modeling masterclass but we cover rendering with Arnold and Redshift too, along with UVs. Hope this helps

    I was proceeding with checkout for buying the course on the website but I didn't continue checking out because the motorcycle class it says 115% speed, does it mean that it is fast forward and not real time explanation while modeling the motorcycle ? because motorcycle seems so difficult to model so If it is fast forward, as beginner I will not understand or capture the knowledge and understanding. I am waiting for your response asap since I am so excited for the course :) Thank you Mario

    • @Elementza
      @Elementza  2 года назад +1

      To be honest you won't even notice it, as it still looks very much like realtime.
      In addition the video player has slow mode so you can slow it down even more if you wish.
      But before you continue to the motorbike there will be a lot of preparations, and the class is organised by difficulty. All in all this means if you're a complete beginner, by the time you reach the bike part, you'll be ready for all the challenges of larger scale projects.
