I love how she accepted the fact that the store could only scan 95 items per purchase. Instead of bitching about it and making them change store rules for her insanity. I give her major props for that. Most couponers would have flipped out.
it’s probably because Kmart/Sears have prehistoric machines that can only handle enough memory equivalent to a floppy disk LOL
I agree should could of handled that in a nasty way!
Because she knows the system, something she has take advantage but not abusive of it. They may say she's hoarding but the truth is she's just being smart and taking advantage.
It's a show. I'm pretty sure this was all set up. Come on.
I worked at K-Mart in high school, and part of college, and can verify the machines have a maximum number of items per purchase. Now, this was years ago, so would have thought it was upgraded, but maybe not. Bitch all she wants, there was absolutely NOTHING anyone could have done to change that at the store. No override key, no manager code, as it's part of the computer system.....believe I encountered that maximum numerous times, usually from the same lady, who also spent 12+ hours in the store "shopping". Oh, and the worst part was, it would also freeze the machine, and require a reset. Slowing things down even more.
My mom was a very sharp couponer. She use to sit on Sundays and clip coupons out of the different papers. But there is a difference between a sharp couponer and a very greedy one.
I agree,,, she emotionally not stable
I used to do the same every week when my kids were little as your mom.
Agreed! My mom used to do that as well but she got what we needed and a little extra not hundreds of the same thing since none of us were going to eat that much or use that much in a month I understand if she did this once and that last her a long time but if she does this a lot it’s not ok on top of it most of the food will go bad she can’t use all of it in 2 month it’s hundreds of the same thing
These women are beyond coupon savvy. It’s complete and utter greed. They probably go home and dive into their money pits like Scrooge Mcduck. There are other eps which the extreme couponers donate most of their hoard to charities and people that actually need it..... but I don’t think these ladies are parting way with their razors or washing liquid any time soon.

edit: Getting replies under this thread and I just wanna say this:
Lady’s plan on couponing was thrown back. The workers allowed them to reevaluate them, open double lanes, and allowed two hours on top of closing. They were so kind to let this happen when they could’ve easily came back another day on top of having the right coupons in the right sets. All I was trying to say was that the cashiers really went above and beyond to help these ladies save some bucks but the couponer is “exhausted”
AND them having to refill all the shelves they emptied... unless they had other staff to do that while they were at the checkout
As a cashier, I feel this 😂
thats there job. im confused?
Yeah, this doesn't feel much different than their regular job. Except it's just one customer most of the day.
@@DAndyLord they don't have to fill an entire shelf of any single item daily. It's completely ridiculous.
She more than likely sells the stuff to make money. All those bulk items aren’t just for her and her family. My family and I use to go to a ladies house that we called “the coupon lady” and buy her items that she re sold at a lower cost than the store.
That's smart...beneficial to both parties. 👍🏻
I was thinking the same. She would probably keep the food and some of the other products that they use on daily basis, but the rest she would sell under the price and buy her kids some new clothes or toys or just save money for raining days
Good for her.
That’s good and it also fucks up the large businesses 😈
@Drew Everett why is it illegal if I want to sell something I can't return or exchange, and I made wrong purchase? It ridiculous. People sell all kinds of used or not used items all over the world all the time

They don’t pay cashiers enough for this crap. And to think I feel guilty using even two coupons at a time 😳
I mean I like big orders but that is a ridiculous amount of product to go somewhere with those tiny registers and no baggers. I'd be a pissed cashier lol
While she saves money, the food she hoards is surely going bad sitting in her garage. The “use by” dates will expire before they’re consumed!! Wasteful and not fair to other shoppers coming after her who find empty shelves. Selfish and inconsiderate.
True...i sometimes can't finish mine and i grocery shop just for a month's supply of dry/canned goods.
There was so much juice at her parent's.....I had four bottles of juice once and noticed one had expired before I got to it. What a waste on her part.

Because cameras were there.
If you are doing this then you should be coming early enough that no one has to stay late to check you out.
It also doesn't help that they take trays and boxes full of product and dump it in the carts, even of just for the cameras. You take the whole pkg, to make it easier for cashier's to ring up. It's also highly selfish to buy out the whole stock of products so that no one else can buy them if needed.

That was insane. The manager should give those cashiers gift cards for their hard work and dedication during that nightmare.

The bad thing about couponing is that most of the food that is on special is bad for your health. Chips and cookies, sodas and juices that are full of sugar. Boxed dinners. You won't hardly ever find healthy options that you can stock up on.
Partially false. This is where apps like iBotta, kickback, coupons.com, and store specific apps come in handy. You not only save/make money from coupons, but rebates as well.
