This is great! I used a felt pad and a cruim oxide mixed with water to polish my car's windshield and it worked. But takes a long time and a lot of effort to see the results for olders glass with deeper scratches.
I used that pad too using Griot's Fine Glass Polish after Claying the windshield & experienced some hopping. Did you? i had to use a Foam Pad because that Rayon Pad wasn't easy to use. maybe my technique was wrong.
It's been a bit since I did this, but I don't directly recall experiencing hopping with the pad/polisher. I do seem to recall having to keep a bit of downward pressure when polishing however.
I am gonna try this too on my car’s windshield. Good job on the video.

What pad and polisher did you use?

@@grevesgarageI just found it very difficult to move the pad in an up and down motion. I'll try it again.
Good synopsis. Appreciate it
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful!
Star san bottle is somebody a moonshiner or wine maker?😂
Wash, clay with lubricant(!), invisible glass (IPA) and onward! Now we get after it and polish away.
