- The FX Pak Pro (formerly the SD2SNES) is the ULTIMATE Super Nintendo flash cart and will allow you to play 99.99% of all Super Nintendo games as well as GameBoy games through the Super Gameboy. I show you how it works and how to set it up!
If you have an FX Pak Pro:
* The Unofficial BIOS with Save States and EVERYTHING else you need:

* For Super Gameboy, search "sgb2_boot.bin" and "Super Game Boy 2 (Japan).sfc" (rename to sgb2_snes.bin) (But it's included in the Unofficial BIOS.)
* To get Mario Kart working search for "dsp1.bin" (But it's included in the Unofficial BIOS.)

Great Video! This and a Genesis Flash cart are the flash karts I want to get next. The Super Gameboy feature is pretty cool as well. I have a GC Loader on my Game Cube and enjoy the unofficial loader for Gameboy games but it doesn't support the Super Gameboy extras for the games that have them. Slowly getting all the Flash carts for all my cart systems and SD card loaders on my older disc based systems. I have a extra Dreamcast with a bad optical drive that I want to mod soon as well.
Gotta catch ‘em all. ;-)
I have the sd2snes from AliExpress works just as good as the kirzz one but I have kirzz mega drive x7 n64 ver 2.5 and some others all work super. But as for Dreamcast mods if you want one as good as the GC loader I would say get the mode from terraonion and not a cheap gdu of the net
ya my SGB2 also bugs out a bit especially with the pokemon games and FFlegends 3. if you found a solution please let me know those games actually blackout intermitantly

That's interesting you got a SNES cart instead of the super Famicom. I didn't even think that was an option when ordering.
How do you use save states on the Gameboy games?
I know this was 2 years ago, but those retrace lines on your CRT are caused by your G2 voltage being set too high. Respecting the safety rules of working on CRT monitors, the G2 can be turned down by tweaking the "screen" potentiometer on the flyback transformer in the case.
how to access the cheat menu ?
Oh man, the Super Star Wars series was so frustratingly difficult and rage inducing, I would say things that would make even the AVGN turn his head in disgust. Albeit, to this day, still three of my favorite games on the system!
Difficult is not strong enough a word! They are pretty much impossible

Quick question, can you save your progress on these games as if you were playing the original cart? or is it just save states?
Yes you can save like a real cartridge.
oh wow kinda jealous. the other shape leaves a little bit of wiggle on the SupaBoy
I just recently got one of these carts and I can’t get the menu to appear in English, well the other options are in English but the very first option appears to be in Japanese

Another superb video mate. Just a questions are that an IKEA Kalax unit you have your consoles in there? Does it cope well with that CRT on top, or have you reinforced it? Keep up the great work!
No extra reinforcements. I think the cross planks inside are enough.

Pretty nice, I will order this maye in a couple of months, the retro collection prices are very very insurmontable. Also have you checked the retracte lines in your monitor it seems odd.
That might be a side effect of an RGB mod.

Yes
The save states barely work on that revision. Hope they fix that soon.
Did they fix it?
Yes. It was fixed with the latest Everdrive update.

Maybe if the reset button is pressed with the console reset to the start of the game or the menu, if the reset to menu option is disabled? I get the feeling it could control exactly that.
I just spent a disgusting amount of money on Famicom, Nes, Snes, N64, GB and GBA everdrives... so expensive.. but so worth it!
