- A Georgia lawmaker was caught on body camera footage fighting with police officers after they allegedly found her dunk outside of a sports bar. Felicia Franklin claims she was drugged and now plans to sue Clayton County for terminating her from her position as vice chairman. The Law&Crime Network’s Elizabeth Millner breaks it all down.

I’ve been following this woman as she was being paid 279,00 a year. Taking vacations, catering for the lavish parties etc. all on the taxpayer’s dime. She refused to resign. Actually fired 2 employees for retaliation who were reinstated the same day. It looks like all her lies are coming out now and her world is falling apart. Hate to be so cold but she needs to face whatever happens to her. You can’t be stealing and expect to not face consequences.

My beloved late Mother, the kindest and most gentle Soul I've ever known was raised my a maliciously mean drunk of a father. She rarely delved into details about the horrors she and her sisters endured, but I could see in her eyes and sense intuitively from her energy that it was profoundly traumatic. My heart breaks for you and anyone who had to endure mean, drunk parents. 🖤

@@attiliobociccio6963 I am not critical of the paramedic. He tried every reasonable approach. Someone in such an altered state must be restrained and taken in to detox. I would not have tried to reason with her for so long and I think some gentlemen at the scene made the delay worse. I think the police could have coordinated better with the EMS to have the woman taken to the ER sooner but it's easier said than done.
She's so intoxicated she can't speak. She could choke if she vomits. She needs to be medically observed until she sobers up. I'd be curious to know what her blood alcohol level is. I was emergency nurse x35+ years. I saw many intoxicated ppl. But she is out!!😳

7 years sober as of last month. I was an alcoholic for over 5 years, and I never acted even remotely like this. No arrests, DUI’s, public outbursts, fighting, absolutely nothing. The only person I hurt was myself, and I kept it that way, and in the process permanently destroyed my health for life. Now, I’ve been suffering from a terrible neurological condition that was amplified by heavy alcohol use. I’ll be on medication until the day I die, and that’s nobody’s fault but my own. These people are offered help, have access to it, yet still end up behaving as unruly as possible, ruining their career, and embarrassing their entire family in the process. Most people would assume I have sympathy for people in ‘similar’ circumstances to my past life, but I can’t, as I’m unable to relate to the behavior associated with her obvious drinking problem. It’s honestly pathetic and borderline shocking she held just an important position in her community.
What a dangerous position she put herself in. She should be grateful that they rescued her.

In my teens I had been rushed to emergency surgery, and upon waking up I was in so much pain and disoriented I apparently was crying and calling for my mom. There was a lovely nurse who stroked my head and helped me take deep breaths of oxygen to wake up faster
