All gameplay shown in today’s video was filmed in my New Satisfactory 1.0 Series that I stream every day on this channel! This should answer all your questions on the dimensional depo in Satisfactory 1.0. If not, please ask away and I’ll reply with an answer below! Thanks for watching!
Watched several vids on the dim storage and no one seems to mention that if you have several items uploading and one reaches max capacity it jams that line of input. Otherwise good video!
@@robertwallace1422 Hey! the reason as to why i didn't mention that is because i assumed it was fairly obvious since the item with full storage doesn't just disappear on the conveyor belt to make room for the other items. But you're right! I should probably mentioned that in the video. Glad you enjoyed it :)
Nice vid. However a recommendation: you can place a container for the resources, the the dimensional depot on top (with the entry of depot aligned with the exit of the container), and then build a lift for the materials. This means you will build a buffer of materials in the container (that you can take from if you are nearby), while it will still be feeding the depot. (Initially I did it with a smart splitter, prio for depot, overflow to a container, but this made so much more sense that I think it's worth mentioning).
@g.a.8661 yup. This is deffinetely the way to go! If you do this, the amount of items that are uploaded will be limited by the depot speed instead of your factory production speed! It makes a huge difference! And it's recommended putting a smart splitter before the input of the container, to sink the overflow. 😀
@@NicoBuilds-g3u if the smart splitter is overflowing before the dimensional depot, that means the dimensional depot is already full/clogged. you are proposing emptying your entire storage behind the dimensional depot into a sink before you need to upload again. Also, even when you are uploading, you are now likely sinking likely at a higher rate than the depot can input. Don’t do that. Just belt or lift in items from a storage container. If it gets clogged when full, it will unclog and start uploading again when items are used.
@jtors5 you didn't understand. Is first smart splitter, then storage, then dimensional depot. You are right but it's not what I meant. There should always be a smart splitter before any storage, so that you get coupons when your storage is full, Instead of machines stopping
@@NicoBuilds-g3u oh ok, I was confused because that seems irrelevant to the dimensional depot discussion. I guess if you have the power, you can produce/sink everything at all times. I tend to sink mostly annoying or useless byproducts, and overflow products from the oil chain like rubber and plastic. Not everything though.
This feature cured to my ammo inventory OCD. Where I would not reload unless I can get a solid round number. IDK why have this coz it's only for this game. I built a dedicated dimensional for my ammo, bombs and consumables, I can reload whenever as I do with shooter games, and just periodically drag a stack of ammo or consumable to fill up my current stack. So now I can always have the max ammo whenever I'm exploring. Moreover, this means I really only need 1 stack of an item in my inventory, freeing up so many slots; which for some reason I tend to fill it with leaves and stuff, still idk why thou
Is there a way to send multiple items into one depot without it stopping once the dimension storage is full? There doesn't seem to be a way to clear the buffer automatically
Snutt said they added a ton of spheres to the map. So there should be enough to upgrade the entire tree and have depots for almost all resources. Plus you will need some later on for other dimensional devices.
Don't know the number, but i collected a lot, fully upgraded the depots, placed like 25+ depots, qnd i still have mercer spheres with me, and I think that haven't grabbed half of all the mercer spheres out there

The very loud "SIX HOURS" in the middle of the video caught me so off guard, i nearly fell out of my chair laughing 😂😂

Use multiple dimensional depots for items you use most constantly and buy extra stack size before maximizing out storage speed upgrades.

No there isn't. You have to place 1 depot per item. There's more than enough mercer spheres out there
this helped a lot where do i go to get the sam so i can research it
you have to find a SAM node. They're often in quite challenging places though!
You deserve more views! Keep it up and they will come. You showed up in my recommended, so I’m sure other success will come soon.
Cheers! :)
How many mercer spheres are on the map? is it possible to have a depot at each resource?

@@NicoBuilds-g3u According to Satisfactory Calculator.. 298.
According to the duplicator infinite. Go nuts!
Thanks for the tips :)
