    Hi Patrick! Your videos helped me land my current SDR role 9 months ago! 9 months into my SDR role at a fast growing startup, and the content in this video is very accurate to what I do daily. Fortunately for me our services are very respected and have high value in our industry, however you still need to bring grit and integrity to the table, daily.

    Patrick - I am 8 months into my SDR role at a start up FinTech (and its great we are doing amazing as a company). This video is great and I think you really hit the nail on the head w/you pro con list. Could you make a video based around growth and progression? I have goals of graduating to an AE role over the course of the next 5 years and am curious on your thoughts on how to get there. Thanks!

    Based on this it's actually worth being picky for a base salary that you can live off of somewhat comfortably vs low ball base salary where it's predatory practice.

    Hi Patrick! Can you kindly do a video on "A day in the life of Customer success associate or Customer success manager". I have a sister that has a communications background and would like to get into tech for this role. I would love to hear you explain what they exactly do. Thanks in advance ☺

    Hi Patrick, what is your advise on transitioning across industry - like pharmaceutical sales (selling medicines to doctors) vs tech sales?
    Also, how do we choose which type of tech company? Startup vs mnc? Saas vs Fintech vs HR platform vs cloud?

    Hi Patrick! I really appreciate and enjoy all your videos. Currently I am looking to shift my career into Tech sales. I have about 10 years of sales experience but one of my hurdles is learning the vocabulary and lingo in the Tech world. Is there a link or video you can do to help get me up to speed? Thanks!

    Great video, thanks Pat! I am looking to break into Sales in Tech, specifically SaaS… I was about to start my own business abs am 20 years old , however I feel I have knowledge gaps in sales and multiple business functions… Would you agree that gaining experience first, from doing sales-at an already fast growing or established SaaS firm, which you can take over to your own business in the future is a more sensible route ?

    • @patrickdang
      @patrickdang  2 года назад +2

      Hey Danyal, thanks for the great question. Learning sales and how to sell first will definitely help you with your business. I basically tried to learn as much as I could during my time at Oracle and those skills really helped me with my business. So, if you're doing the SaaS firm route, make sure you're condensing years worth of learning in a shorter amount of time to make it worth it. Best of luck!
