It's been asked a hundred times in the comment section already, but I'll ask again in hopes it catches Vyper's attention. When you access advanced settings under your preset, do the "Bandwidth" items need to be changed or even make a difference? If they do, what would you suggest works best with your COD MW TR preset equalizations? Cheers in advance! Also, just to confirm, should we be using STAR mode on the base station and download the Dolby app and activate Atmos from there? Darcy
Hi Darcy, I believe I've answered this before, but I'll answer and pin since it does come up quite a bit. You're talking about under ADVANCED SETTINGS, the xCF. Mine are 2, 2 and 1.5 What does this mean? They are called CROSSOVER FREQUENCIES. The number range lower (towards the LEFT) indicates the frequency will have a higher left side curve. A number range higher (towards the RIGHT) indicates the frequency will have a higher right side curve. This is a really precision tuning that allows you to edge out even more frequency bias on your headset, assuming the standard waveform doesn't quite do the trick. In my opinion, leaving them dead center is preferred -- some tuners or pre-sets automatically will adjust these to you, but I'd really be surprised if many heard a difference when adjusting them to either extreme. Hope this helps, Jim

Hey I've been having some problems with my Astros I've been hearing a lot of crackling and popping from them recently. I usually notice it in party's but it's been it gets worse when playing cold war explosions and gunshots can get glitch and distorted do you know what I should do to fix this issue?
Check cables, try headset without MixAmp, then try different headphones in MixAmp to diagnose where issue is.
@@vypermajik sorry for the late response. I've tried all of these except trying a different headset. I had a power outage while using my headset recently do you think they might have gotten damaged?
Edit: I just tried it with a different headset and cord I got the same results I'm guessing it may be the game or my xbox
@@slavicdoge4427 I have the same problem
What in game sound setting do you use with these eq settings?
CW: Treyarch Mix
MW/WZ: Boost High
Good luck :)
@@vypermajik appreciate the help. Your video was very clear and concise. Just one last question, what column would you suggest adjusting to reduce the tinny/high pitched level. Sometimes it gets over powering and actually makes it difficult to play for longer periods. I’m just unsure which one to reduce or increase and with the hz levels should I adjust these or keep them as is and move the column level.
Hello any way to turn party chat up on Astro can’t here party chat that well?
If you're using the MixAmp, turn the knob. If you're on PlayStation 5, there is a toggle for audio between game and voice chat.
Thank
;)
Should i turn off 3d audio when i play cold war and warzone?
YES!
@@vypermajik ok thanks. Didn't know if tempest 3d audio was good or nah.
where i can turn off this 3d audio? u mean dolby?
goodjob
do you use optical cord or no? for pc
Mauron, yes, I do. Optical from SoundBlaster Z to MixAmp.
Are you able to get 120fps using the HDMI splitter on ps5?
I've heard yes and no. I don't have a 120 Hz TV to verify this but I've read it DOES work at 120 Hz, just only at 1080P.
I use the splitter and on my monitor it works at 120 fps
@@zackabt2277 Thats great! Thank bro
@@vypermajik I can confirm just got the Astro admi adapter for ps5 and it shows 1080p 120hz on my monitor
@@MrJohnnyt123 you don’t need that if you have tv you can do 4K 120fps without sacrifice resolution oh color format
👍🏻🔥
What about in-game though. Which audio setting do I use with the 1st configuration in your video? I currently use the 'Boost high' setting. Does it matter?
For me: I use BOOST HIGH. It makes the highs even louder (foot steps)
hey guys... are you using the surround in yours astros?
I disable Dolby Surround sound.
Do these settings work on the A50s? Thanks
Yes, they should support the A50s as well.
The file is incompatible with device bro
what are you Bandwidth xCF number?
Hey I’m having a issue with my Astro a40 and the Astro amp can i send you a video and you check it out?
Sure, what can I help with?
what is audio setting inside the game i use boost low?
yes boost low is the best one and if you play warzone then legacy mode is better.
cold war is dynamic
Do I need a mix amp for these settings??
Yes, the settings are done on the MixAmp.
Surround sound on or off
Off.
Surround sound on or off?
I recommend off. It didn’t seem to help much.
Dobly on or off?
I leave it on (MixAmp).
Good morning, I've tried several settings to find one for the game I like and love to play, Warface, but I can't configure a preset for it, could you help me, create a preset for Warface, or tell me what each of these Gray bars do in equalization, so I can try more and more. Thanks
You're one of the extremely few people I've seen that likes Cold War😂😂😂😂
Need a download file for the 34355 firmware, I want to go back from the latest. It seems the voice/game mix doesn’t work with the updated firmware when running optical audio. Plus like mentioned the sound is very tinny. If anyone has a link to share for the 34355 firmware please do so.
Same here, I tried on google and on reddit, but I found nothing at all 😑
Why not show the exact settings for your “cheating” eq nobody knows the bandwidth or any of that the numbers do nothing without the rest
What part did you need to see? I'll gladly show you whatever you'd like.
