Omg thank you, thank you. The only tutorial that gave me what I was looking for in the simplest form. The best!
Thank you for doing this in a step by step and with 2 colours. It was easier to follow than the other tutorials.
Thank you! Finally someone who could give a simple instruction I could understand. 😅
I've watched so many of videos of how to tie a movable knot, your video was great and I finally learned. Thanks! 🌸
Great video, the easiest way to make a nice sliding knots, thank you!
OMG, ive watched so many of these tutorials but this is by far the easiest and fastest, thank you!!!
Thank you so much so very much for this tutorial. I watched it 17 times. I just couldn’t get it right but you were so slow paced and all the other tutorials were super super fast and you made it so easy at least by the 17th time
not your fault mine.
I really really appreciate this. You did a fantastic job. You’re a wonderful teacher. 😍🥰
Thank you for actually making an easy to follow video. I watched 5 other videos before yours and they all sucked at explaining it and demonstrating it.
Thank you for the video. It's the only tutorial I watched that actually helped me make the knots. Thank you so much. Very helpful!!!
Only tutorial I could follow thank you soooooo much!!!!!!!
Thank you so very much, I used this video to fix a bracelet my son asked me to fix. He asked me so long ago and I kept forgetting, ugh this was so easy to follow, thank you!
Your nails look Great.
the cord on my jade necklace came loose and u had no idea how to tie it so it was ajustable tysm!!!!
This was super clear and helpful, thanks!
Thank you!
Thank you for this video. I am going to use this info to make adjustable cords for ear pieces for face masks. Thank you.
Brilliant. Thank you. Can now adjust face mask ties.
Absolutely brilliant idea!
Completely agreed!
I was trying this on a vintage necklace from the '70s that was my mom's. I watched 10 other videos and felt really stupid. I slowed down this one and watched it over and over and I think I got it, but the leather is so old, it doesn't slide and I could never get it over my head. Either my head is huge or at some point, my mom cut the original cord not understanding it's necessary. An hour later and much frustration, I'll take a break and try again tomorrow with some longer leather cord! I really would like to know how to make these knots--they look so nice for casual necklaces and are super practical. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I really needed this video. I’m genderfluid, so pronoun bracelets are a big thing for me, but those elastic cords are so hard to use. Luckily, I had the right materials on hand to do this. This is the perfect knot, and I’ll definitely use it more in the future.
Thanking your kind heart..😇
quick and easy tutorial for a great finish
Thank you very much Rosalie! It's a very useful technique to learn and fun!
Thank u so so so so much 🤍!!
Ty so much, this is amazing!
Of course! We are happy this could help you!
THANK YOU!!!!
May I ask where you got the satin cords please?🙏🙏
Wow thank you so much, I have been into bracelet making during quaratine and i dont like my bracelets just tied around my wrist thank you!!
You’re welcome 😊We're grateful this helped you to find the perfect way to keep your bracelets on!
what is the average length of the cord you use?
when making a bracelet, how do I determine the length of my cord? This was a great video. Look forward to more from you.
We're happy to help! A great fit is dependent upon your project and your needs. So for instance…
- Our designer has a 6.5 inch wrist. If you want to have just an adjustable closure, no clasp. It needs to fit over your hand at the largest undone stage. She also like to work with enough cord to make the knot. Estimating this she uses about 1 foot to 1.5 feet of cord to get the best fit for a 6.5 inch wrist.
✅✅✅gracias 🤗
What is the length of cord you used? I can make them but then when I made it knot, I ended up making the necklace too small. 🙈
I got a necklace and it had a adjustable knot and idk how to put it on
Will satin cord and wax cotton cord fray? Can it be burned like the parachute cord or should I use glue? Thank you
Satin cord can fray, but you won't want to burn it - just use a bit of glue on the end. Waxed cotton cord doesn't so much fray as separate, and while you can apply some low heat to melt the wax and seal the end, a dab of glue will also work!
Can I use this with waxed cotton cord? Thank you!
This technique should work with a variety of cord types, including waxed cotton!
@@FusionBeadsSea thanks!
When do I add the beads?
Hi Chloe, great question. This technique video shows how to create the knot after the beads or pendants are added. We have excellent inspiration projects to help you with any design ideas that incorporate this technique!
This knot called the fisherman’s knot. Thanks
Thank you for the proper name of it!
Hi can i use this on a thin nylon cord?
Yes, absolutely!
How long are these
The adjustable knot is as long or as short as you wish to make it. The length is determined by the starting length of your piece.
What type of cord is it? Waxed cotton?
Hi Alexandra! The cord we used for this video is Satin Cord. You may see and purchase our full collection here www.fusionbeads.com/search?keywords=satin%20cord#perpage:80
I can't do this with elastic cord.. can you help me?? 😓
This technique won't really work with elastic cord, but since elastic cord stretches it doesn't need an adjustable knot!
Cord A cord B is just confusing. I wish you did this with an actual necklace
On an actual necklace or bracelet you will also have a side A and side B, if it helps to think of it that way! You can also look at the tutorial on our website: www.fusionbeads.com/adjustable-knot
whoever is doing the closed captioning for this video it's 'cord' not 'chord'. I know, I know I'm the spelling police but bad spelling drives me crazy.
V😩
Okay I'm already lost. :(
My idiot sister untied her, now mine because she doesn't take care of jewelry, sliding knot necklace and I'm trying to fix it and I genuinely can't keep up with this video. Sigh.
This really didn’t help
Not for cord
5 minutes to teach one knot. Wow
